A Sarah Kay Card

Hello my friends, I hope you are having a great Wednesday! Twenty three years ago, a day like yesterday, my mom passed away. Yesterday was a kinda sad day for me, but then I realized she is happy in Heaven. I talked about her to DD and she listened and asked a lot of questions. She gave me a lot of kisses so I could feel better, sweet little girl.
Now, I want to show you a card I made using Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #86. It has been a long awhile since the last time I played Taylor's challenges.

So here is my card. I used a Sarah Kay Image. I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils. I sponged the borders with Plum Craft (Color Box) and Dark Pink (Studio G). I added some Gold Cording from Gina K. and Rhinestones.

Card Recipe:
Card Stock: White, Real Red.
Paper: SU.
Stamps: Sarah Kay
Ink: Black, Plum (Color Box), Dark Pink (Studio G)
Embellishments: Gold Cording (Gina K), Rhinestones (Making Memories)
Accessories: Sewing machine, white thread, SU Dimensionals, Prismacolor Pencils, sponges, Corner punch.

I hope you like it!

Come back later for another Gina K. Blog Hop!! and don't forget about "Cards for Bekah"

Have a great day!

  1. Wow, you must have been VERY young when you lost your mom. Mine will be gone 10 years in December, and not a day goes by that I don't think about her and miss her! Sweetie, your card is adorable! Makes me think of YOUR daughter! I'll have my card for Bekah in the mail on Friday! Take care - I'll be thinking about you.
