Impression Obsession Old is New "Joy"

Hello friends!
Sometimes we get so busy with new released stamps that we forget about our old favorites. The Impression Obsession team has set aside a couple days a month to share some new projects using some great older stamps. You can see the list of today’s participants on the Impression Obsession blog

For today's Old is New feature I made a baby card!
Baby cards are my favorite to create and lately haven't made any, so today you have this super adorable card using just stamps and markers like the old times, no dies needed, just your paper cutter to cut your cardstock and you are good {wink, wink}

So, for this project I used the following stamps:
Bloom Baby Bloom (the flowers and sentiment)

Details:
Cut a piece of white cardstock 4"x4", position elephant stamp on your misti and stamp it on 4 sides (centers) in Baby Blue Ink.
Stamp corner flowers in Fog Ink.
Stamp sentiment in Cherry Ink.
Color images with markers (I used Spectrum Noir Markers), add little dots with a white gel pen.
Embellish with Nuvo drops.
Cut a panel from blue cardstock 4.25" x 4.25"
Cut a panel from yellow cardstock 4.5" x 4.5"
Add panels to card base.
Card base is 5" x 5"

Impression Obsession Challenge: Sending Sunshine

Hello friends!
Welcome to another fun Impression Obsession Challenge, hopefully we can inspire you to create fun, easy and wonderful projects!
Our challenge this time is

"Sending Sunshine"
All the details can be found at the Impression Obsession Blog.
A random challenge card will be selected to be showcased on the IO blog AND you can enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing! (IO stamps need to be used).

Today I have a perfect sunny caffeinated card!
I love coffee and sunny days, but I am not a fan of HOT days.
I do love bright sunrises and sunsets, I am very blessed to live in the country where I get beautiful skies!

Anyways, let me show you the card I created for you.
Details:
Position your Reverse Sunburst Stamp on your Misti, stamp image on white cardstock in Goldenrod Ink.
I stamped the image like 3 times to get the perfect impression.
Die-cut panel and adhere it to white card base.
Stamp Good Morning image (coffee cup) on white cardstock in Jet Black Ink, color image with markers and fussy cut.
Die-cut Checkered Frame in Watercolor paper (x3), glue them together and adhere it to card base.
Add coffee cup with foam adhesive.

Here you can see the thickness of the frame.

Finally add Clear Shimmer Pen on coffee cup!
Hope you like my project!
Have a wonderful day!
