Life is beautiful

Hello friends!! Hope you all are having a fantastic day! Today is a great day to celebrate, it's my Anniversary! Yep, a day like today my husband and I got married in a very breezy and chilly winter night in Lima, Peru, it has been 15 years and I am more than happy I am spending my time with him, many more years to come (with crafting too {wink, wink} )

Anyway, today I have a very simple card with one of the new stamps from the July release, this is Sunflowers stamp, beautiful background!

OK, let me show how I did it.
  • Then use a couple of the new Nuvo Glitter Markers and color the stamp with it, using your MISTI, stamp the image, here I covered the image twice with the reddish marker and once with the gold marker for the center of the flowers. Set aside to dry (it dries super fast)
  • To finish the card, I die-cut the edge with a border die, added foam under the big piece and tape on the thin side to create a little contrast. Then, embellish it with pearls and twine. Stamp the super cute "Life is beautiful" sentiment.

And to wrap this up, this is a sunflower from my garden from a couple of years ago! I love sunflowers!!

Happy Birthday!

Hello friends! Hope you are having a fantastic day! Sharing with you another project I made using the new "Stamps by Chloe" from Crafter's Companion. These are brand new in the US and they sold out at the HSN craft show! Let's hope they can bring them to the Crafter's Companion store soon.

Thiscard was super easy to make, I used the flower stamp and stamped it all around in different ink colors, then colored it with Spectrum Noir markers. Stamped the sentiment in StazOn Jet Black ink on a piece of vellum, die-cut the Rose Pink Shimmering cardstock, put the pieces together and added stitches!!

Love how bright and cheerful it is.

Hope you like it!
Have a fantastic day!

If you stumble, make it part of the dance.

Hello friends!! Hope you all are having a great day! Today I want to share a card I made with one of my favorite stamps just released few days ago from Technique Junkies!!! This image is called "Part of the Dance" is so pretty and has a lot of possibilities. Here I want to share with you how I did it.

  • After the background has dried completely, stamp the image in Stazon Jet Black, since this is a silhouette stamp, some times it requires several stamping, so the MISTI is super handy, just keep inking your image until you are happy with the result.

  •  Finally, I added a piece of Purple Mirror Cardstock behind the image and added stitches. Also added few sequins and the card was done!

Remember, you can get this image and/or any of the new released images with a 15% off until July 8th!! Plus you can add any other stamps and get a 10% off using my super code {wink, wink} TJ10Giovana (get a MISTI, you will be happy)

Hope you like it and give this technique a try!
Have a fantastic day!!

Let me show you the projects I have for you today!

Filled with Wonders: Love this image very much. I have to confess that I have an obsession for flamingos, my daughter doesn't get it, but that's OK {wink, wink} When I saw this image I knew I had to have it.
I stamped  it on a piece of smooth white cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored it with Spectrum Noir Markers, then I adhered it to pink shimmer cardstock and patterned paper and added stitches. Added a sun and flamingo die-cuts just to embellish the card.

Calendula: Another beautiful stamp! I stamped the image on a piece of watercolor cardstock in Versamark Watermark ink and added gold embossing powder, then heat set. Colored the image with Spectrum Aqua Markers, then added little bits of the new Nuvo Glitter Markers. Stitched the panel on a piece of kraft cardstock and then die-cut the edges with a border die. Then added the panel to a 5.5" x 6" white card base. Finally added a big triple bow.

Perspective: And my last project, this new silhouette stamp, isn't it so pretty?! Reminds me myself when I was younger, hehehe, oh those days! This card was super easy to make, I used my MISTI and stamped the image several times to get the perfect impression, silhouette stamps most of the time need to be re-stamped and the MISTI is the best tool to get the perfect impression!! After the image was stamped, I used  Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Mustard Seed Distress inks to create the background, then added few water drops, stitches around the edges and twine, few clear rhinestones and the card was done.

Now, hop over to Chris' blog and check out her wonderful creations!!

But there is more, from today until July 8th, this new release has an instant 15% discount!!! Woo-hoo!! Get them all before the 8th, and in case you like any other stamp, you can use my code to get a 10% off, how cool is that!! My code is TJ10Giovana  (restrictions apply)
