Old friends are the best friends.

Second, I lost my Mojo, yeah that happens sometimes and it is very frustrating for me because I have had few hours for myself, but not inspirations at all and last, my lovely Aunt Cristina passed away last Monday. It was really sad news for me because I love my aunt very much I couldn't be there to say good bye, but I know one day we will see each other in Heaven and we will rejoice with the Lord.

OK, so I have a card for you today, when I saw the sketch from EBTKS, I got an idea in my crazy brain and I had to put it on paper immediately before it was gone and couldn't remember it, LOL.

CSS Alumni Sketch Challenge

Hello my friends! It is time for another fun CSS Alumni Blog Hop. This time is a Sketch Challenge. If you have come here from Cheri's blog, you are in the right place, if not come back to Stamp TV to start the hop.
I have to confess as soon as I saw the sketch I knew what I wanted to do, an "Envelope Card" hmm. what is that? It is a card and a envelope together, LOL. It is super easy to make.

Directions:
Inside of card:
  • Mat together 2 pieces of card stock and add stitches all around
  • Stamp image twice, color them. Cut out one and die cut the other one, adding some ink inside the borders.
  • Adhere the other image with Foam tape.
  • Add a scallop only in the top part.
  • Stamp sentiment.
  • Add image to card.
Envelope.
  • Cut a piece of card stock: 8.5" x 4.5"
  • Scor in half and fold.
  • Using Circle Nestabilities, die cut a half circle. Emboss only front part.
  • Add a strip of card stock to the front and add stitches.
  • Add ribbon using Scor-tape and buttons.
Tips:
  •  If you want a flat folded ribbon add tiny drops of Fabric glue, press it and let it dry.
  • In order to have the perfect circle die-cut, put the inside piece through, make a little mark where you think the cut will match with the inside. (hope this makes sense)
Here is my "Baby Congratulations Card":

Card recipe:
Miss you card: I made this card for my dad! I miss him so much, I haven't seen him in almost 6 years and I wish I could go and just talk and talk. He loves to talk, travel and eat good food (just like me), also he is very funny!!

Anyway, for this card I didn't turn the sketch around.

Directions:
  • Make card from card stock.
  • Cut piece of Patterned Paper. Die cut semi-circle using Circle Nestabilities. Ink edges.
  • Mat the piece of PP with card stock, add zig zag-stitches.
  • Add buttons with twine.
  •  Stamp sentiment, ink and emboss. Adhere to card with foam tape.

Card recipe:
Hope you like them!!

Now, hop over to Jen's blog to see her wonderful creation.

Get Well

Hello ladies! Hope you are having a great day! Here we are doing much better. My daughter's allergies are getting better, especially her eyes, they are not too swollen and her nose is not as bad as was before, also she finally slept all night and so did I!!

Last night I made this card thinking about my daughter. She loves butterflies and bling bling, LOL. I really wanted to created a big scallop border, I don't own any of those new cute punches or die cuts, so I decided to create one my own way. I just die cut lots of circles (using the smallest size from Circle Nestabilities). I add a strip of 1/4" Scor-Tape and add the circles, after that I curled up the ends and Voila!! If you would like a picture tutorial, let me know and I will make one for you !!

For this card I got inspired by:
Inspiration Picture: Love my Tapes.
Butterflies: Wee Memories
Anything goes: Penny's Paper Crafty.

Directions:
  • Make card from card stock.
  • Cut a smaller piece of card stock, add circle using Scor-Tape. Curled up ends.
  • Create a scored-frame.
  • Adhere ribbon.
  • Stamp butterflies. Cut them out and adhere to card.
  • Stamp sentiment and add mini gold rhinestones.

Card recipe:
  • Card stock: White, Lovely Lavender. (GKD)
  • Paper: Fresh print Clothesline Collection (Little Yellow Bicycle)
  • Stamps: Hope is Faith, Versatile Verses (GKD)
  • Ink: Memento Sweet Plum (Tsukineko).
