Fabulous Day!!!

Hello friends!! Today I have a super easy card for you, honestly this is super easy.
Well, first a confession, I was never a fan of this multi layer stamps because I was always messing them up, plus my eyes, seriously, I can't see those tiny lines until I got this super fun set from Altenew!! (And to be honest, they have amazing more sets too!!)
 This set is called Build a Flower: Cattleya. So easy, plus you get a guide with special marks to align your stamps so you get the perfect layer!!!
Believe me, if I can do it you can too!! {wink, wink}

OK, so I started with my Original MISTI stamping with the outline stamp, then added the layers using these colors: Summer Sky (Memento), Ultramarine (Impression Obsession) and Navy (Impression Obsession), then added the greens: Pistachio, New Sprout (Memento) and Avocado (Reverse Confetti)

See how pretty they look!! Love it!

After all the stamping was done, I die-cut the images with coordinated die-cut.

I sprayed a piece of watercolor paper (3.75" x 5") using Gold Topper and Harvest Sunset Shimmering Bliss (Technique Junkies), adhered it to a mustard piece (4.5" x 5"), added thin metallic tape to the watercolor piece, then added the die-cut pieces with foam tape to the panel.
Stamped the sentiment on a black cardstock piece in Versamark Watermark, then added white embossing powder and heat set. Adhered it to panel with foam tape.
Finally added the panel to a 5" x 5.5" white card base.
Added few sequins to embellish.

Here, you can see the shimmer action.

You can get the Shimmering Bliss with a 10% discount using my code: TJ10Giovana

Happy Hello!!

Hello friends! Happy Friday!! Hope your day had a great start, sharing today a happy and cute floral card.
Here are the details:
  • Stamp your images, this is how my card started ;) Here I am using Peony Scrolls by Altenew.

  •  Color the image, of course at this point I realized I didn't like how the background turned out, so I decided to fussy cut all the images. The images were colored with Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers.

Finally I added pearls and silver thread and the card was finished, this is a 6" x 6" card and I really love how turned out.

Hope you like it!
Have a fantastic day!

Happy Birthday

Hello friends and Happy Wednesday! How is your day today? Hope is fantastic! Today I want to show a simple but elegant card I created the other day, yes last Sunday I went to my craft room and decided to create a couple of CAS cards, just for fun! I just needed to relax after having a busy day, which included laundry and a great nap {wink, wink}

Anyway, last Monday was baby K's mom birthday (she is the little one I babysit), her mom is super sweet and understand my silly accent, LOL. I really love how this card turned out, I used the Inspiration Pictures from the Altenew Challenge, I used 2 of the 3 pictures for my inspiration.

Here are the details:
  • Make card base from White cardstock. A2 size.
  • Stamp the flowers and swirls from Peony Scrolls and the leaves from Lacy Scrolls in VersaMark Watermark ink, than add gold embossing powder and heat set.
  • Apply a bit of Golden Glitz Delicata Ink on an acrylic block and with the help of a brush and a tiny bit of water color the flowers and add little shadows.
  • Die-cut Happy Birthday from Black Shimmering Cardstock and adhere them to card.
  • Add sequins and clear rhinestones.

Hello

Hello friends! How are you doing today? It's time for another Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers! Early this week I received an email from Audrie inviting me to be a Guest Host this week! I have to be honest and say I haven't played the SCS callenges as often as I would like to, but how could I say no to this invite. So, this is the Inspiration page for this week and I chose this picture for my inspiration card.

This is my card and here are the details:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut a panel from Watercolor Paper 3.5" x 4.75". Stamp flowers in St. Valentine StazOn Ink and Leaves in Olive Archival Ink.
  • Color background with Spectrum Aqua Peach Marker.
  • Die-cut "hello" from the stamped panel. Die-cut 4 more "hello".
  • Add panel to card base removing the die-cut area.
  • Glue the 4 white "hellos" and add them to card base.
  • Glue stamped hello to card, leaving a little white edge from under die-cuts.
  • Add enamel dots.
  • Cover leaves and Hello with Clear Wink of Stella.

I really love the results, love this set from Altenew very much, I need to use it more often.

Hope you like it!
Have a fantastic day!

Glittery Ombre Tutorial

Hello friends! Today, I am sharing a super easy tutorial!! You have probably seen something similar, but this time you are not going to waste a bit of your products! Promise {wink, wink}

For this project I created an ombre background using Embossing Paste and Glitter! Super easy and you can make this in any color you like/want.

Let get started!

  • Secure your mat to a piece of cardstock (here I used white) with removable tape or washi tape.

  •  Combine White Embossing Paste and 2 drops of Faded Jeans Distress Ink, mix well.

  • Apply it to left part of your piece, then add "more embossing paste" to soft the blue and apply to the middle part (I applied it diagonally)

  •  Mix 1 more time the remaining past with more embossing paste to apply to your right bottom corner (your softest color)

  •  Add clear glitter to piece, use your heat gun to set it.

*Sentiment from Lots to Say (Reverse Confetti)
*Flowers from Painted Flower (Altenew)
