Impression Obsession March Release - Day 1


Welcome to the Impression Obsession March 2021 Release Celebration!

What The Gnome Said
Isn't this gnome too adorable? 

Details:
Die-cut Folk Art Frame in white cardstock as well as pink and dark pink cardstock (you can color the items instead)
Die-cut Sitting gnome in watercolor paper, then color and ink blend pieces.
Stamp Flowers on center piece in Chocolate Ink, color image with markers.
Stamp Clouds on little panel as well in light blue ink color.
Stamp What the Gnome Said on white cardstock in toner ink, then foil piece with blue foil.
Adhere pieces to a pink card base.

It's the little things
Another super fun and easy card to make.

Details:
Die-cut Folk Art Frame in Shimmer Pink, Dark Pink, Green and White cardstock. (you can color little pieces instead)
Adhere frame to white card base, add heart and leaves with foam tape.
Color image with markers.
Adhere piece with foam adhesive.
Stamp It's the little things sentiment on Kraft cardstock in Versamark Watermark Ink, then add white embossing powder, heat set.

Happy Birthday!

 Hello friends!
Hope you all are having a fantastic day!
I have a super cute Birthday card for you using new dies from the new

For this card I used the Scalloped Facade Frame and Celebration Scene Dies Set.

Details:
Create a panel blending Distress Oxide colors, then die-cut border.
Die-cut Happy Birthday in White cardstock.
Die-cut the Happy Birthday Outline in watercolor paper, then mist it with pink spray color.
Adhere sentiment.
Die-cut the Curved Balloon String in Gold cardstock and in blended panel.
Adhere Balloons behind frame, add clear panel behind, add two roads of foam adhesive.
Add sequins then adhere sentiment panel.
Add shaker par to a frame card base.

Impression Obsession Theme Day: Be Crafty


Hello friends!
Every month the Impression Obsession Team is showcasing a theme day, 
this month is all "Be Crafty"!

I think we all crafter have done something before whatever you are currently doing,
for example I used to sew my clothes, I took sewing classes and it was a lot of fun! (lot time ago)
Moving forward (2004) while pregnant I sewed curtains, sheets, pillow cases, you name it.
I also sewed clothes for my daughter when she was little.
I still have my sewing machine and I wish I could sew more things, just not enough time!

Anyways, this image is called "Sewing supplies", the sentiment is "Creative sister"
These two stamps are from the new February Release!

Details:
Stamp Sewing supplies image on white cardstock in Chocolate Ink.
Color images with markers, here I used a combo of Copics and Spectrum Noir.
Trim image and add a kraft panel behind, add stitches.
Mist panel with gold mist.
Adhere panel to a 5" x 5.5" folded white card.
Stamp Creative sister sentiment in Chocolate ink

Impression Obsession February Team Favorites Hop

I have a sweet project for you!
I have to confess I am a hugger!! and Nola's new hug images are adorable!
So, these images are perfect to make cards for all the people you can't hug just yet.

Details:
Stamp Lovely cloud background on white cardstock in Rose Ink.
Stamp Hug Girl on white cardstock in Chocolate Ink, color image with alcohol markers,
trim image and add a strip of glittery paper on bottom.
Stamp Hugged You on Fuchsia cardstock in Chocolate Ink, fussy cut out image.
Cut a couple of pieces of vellum paper.
Add panels to a yellow card base.

Impression Obsession Old is New "Cross of Flowers"

 

Hello friends!

Sometimes we get so busy with new released stamps that we forget about our old favorites. The Impression Obsession team has set aside a couple days a month to share some new projects using some great older stamps. You can see the list of today’s participants on the Impression Obsession blog.

I have a couple of Easter cards I made with this super cute set called 
This set is on sale for only $5.62, grab it while you can, only few left.

Both cards are the same design.
One was stamped in white cardstock in Versamark Watermark ink and uses Gold embossing powder and the other one in kraft cardstock using white embossing powder.
I did double stitched border on both cards using Border Stitching Die.
Color the flowers from the kraft panel.
Add patterned paper to a white card base and then the embossed panel with foam adhesive.
Adhere sentiments.
Add Gold Nuvo dots.

Impression Obsession February Release Day 2

So for today I have 2 projects for you!
Both cards are very easy to make!!

Dance
The sentiment from this card is the new stamp from the February release, it's called Dance.
Details:
Stamp Dance and Pretty Pirouette on watercolor paper in Chocolate Ink.
Color image with Watercolor markers, here I used Arteza Brush Pens.
Trim panel and blend Vintage Photo Distress Oxide on all edges.
Die-cut stitches with Border Stitching Die all around a Kraft card base front.
Adhere a piece of white cardstock on front card.
Adhere watercolor panel with foam adhesive.
Embellish card with white enamel dots.







New Day
This card was made in 5 minutes!! 
Sometimes less is more, right?

Details:
Stamp Cloudy Sky background in Baby Blue Ink.
Stamp New Day sentiment in Navy Ink. Trim image.
Create a background piece with Border Stitching die all around in kraft cardstock.
Add panels to a white card base.
Embellish card with clear enamel dots.
