You are in my prayers.

Hello friends!! How are you doing today? I hope your Wednesday is a great one! Well, today I have a "Sympathy card", a topic we don't create much, but sometimes is needed.
This card is simple, but not too simple, didn't want it to make it plain, but didn't want to add too much either, hope this makes sense.

Here are the details:
  • Make a card base from White cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut a panel from Pink cardstock. 5" x 3.75"
  • Cut a panel from white cardstock, slightly smaller than pink panel. Stamp swirl in Versamark Watermak ink, apply white embossing powder and heat set.
  • With the help of an ink applicator, apply Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet Distress Inks.
  • Stamp little flowers in Golden Glitz Delicata Ink.
  • Stamp sentiment in Spiced Chai StazOn Ink.
  • Add little dots of Ruby Liquid Pearls. Tape panels to card base.
The saying says: I am so sorry, you are in my prayers.

Love Card Tutorial

Hello friends!! Today, I am here with an easy card tutorial using one of the new Sheena Douglass Stencils coming out this week called Pop Dotty. This stencil has a lot of possibilities, lots of different dot sizes and it's super cool using one color or different colors together.

Let's get started:

  • Carefully remove the stencil and set the cardstock aside to dry.  NOTE: wash the stencil immediately.

  •   After the kraft piece is dried, Giovana stitched the panel on the sewing machine and added a mat with a piece of Pink Pearl Shimmering Cardstock, add ticket, lace and add stitches.

  • For the final touches ~ tie with ribbon, add stenciled hearts and add some pearl embellishments.

Here is my card!!

Sending love (CAS OLC)

Hello friends! How are you today? It's Friday! and today I have a super cute card, and the best part is I made an OLC! I love layers and layers and I challenged myself to create something different like an OLC! It took awhile, but I did it!!

For this project I used one of the new stencils from Latina Crafter, this stencil is called "Corazones Pequeños" or Little hearts.

This is the card I created, love the results, what do you think? Here are the details:
  • Make a card base from white cardstock. A2 size.
  • Mix white embossing paste and 1 drop of Lady Bug Memento Reinker, and apply over stencil. Here I covered the scallop oval area, but little bits of embossing paste ended up around the edges creating the cool window shape. I was not planning this, but I think is really cool!
  • Stamp image in Memento Tuxedo Black (I used my MISTI, one tried only, perfect stamping!), color image with markers, here I used Spectrum Noir:
    • Hair: IG1, IG2, IG3
    • Skin: FS1, FS2, FS4
    • Hearts: CR8, DR3
    • Dress: PP1, PP3, PP4, PP5
    • Shadow FS4, FS8
  • Die-cut a banner in red cardstock, stamp sentiment in Jet Black StazOn Ink and add it to card with foam adhesive.
  • Cover hear and wings with Crystal Lacquer, then sprinkle clear glitter.
  • Create a little twine bow and add to card.

    Love and frustration

Hello friends! How are you today?! Hope your Thursday is a great one. Today I have a super cool project for you, didn't start as cool as you think. Last week, I had a couple of very stressful days, yes sometimes things get out of control (not with my family) and I was very sad and disappointed by the situations, people sometimes make too many excuses to justify laziness. So, I decided to make something, at this point didn't know what, yes, that happens sometimes, it took me 3 1/2 days to finish this canvas and I was very pleased with the result. I call this canvas "Love and Frustration"

I had on my desk new stencils from Latina Crafter I wanted/needed to use, I looked at them and the magic began ;)
Get them all for only $20.00

For this canvas I used 4 of the 5 stencils. I started priming my canvas with a lot of gesso. After that I applied pieces of patterned paper, you can see the small script background. Then, I used the stencils and embossing paste, here I used white and copper. With the white embossing paste I added glitter and heat embossed. I stamped few hearts, then I used a variety of Twinkling H2O paints for all the paint drips. I added more gesso in areas that got too much paint.
I drew the hearts and painted them with acrylic paint, then used the flower/dot stencil and added only the dots. Stamped a sentiment and added it to the canvas.
Finally, I added the flower, ribbon, buttons and key to embellish the canvas.

Below I have pictures of the different corners.

    Dots and little hearts

    Big floating hearts

Here it is the canvas, I think this is not the best picture, but I love the result!!
