Relax, this is your day

Hello my friends! I have a feminine card for you today! Few weeks ago, when I received some beautiful stamps from the other Heartfelt Creations Collection, I got the idea to make a girly card using these masculine stamps. So i play with colors and add more pink and red to make it girly, next time I may add some boots and hats. Playing with more ideas already.

Directions:
  • Cut a piece of White Cardstock 5" x 10". Score it at 5" and fold it. Card Size 5" square card.
  • Stamp image onto Watercolor Paper in Stazon Black Ink. Color image with Distress Inks.
  • Die-cut and emboss image with Labels Fourteen Nestabilities Dies.
  • Die-cut and emboss Leafy Spray in Pink Carstock. Snip it and add it to image piece.
  • Stamp sentiment in Barn Door Distress Ink.
  • Add image to card base with Double Dots.
  • Add Star Dust Stickles to trees and pearls to opposite corners.

Memorial Day Sketch Blog Hop


Hello my friends! Today I am so excited to participate in "Memorial Day Sketch Blog Hop" from Operation Write Home. This is my first time joining OWH and not the last one for sure, my husband was a Marine and he is so proud of it. I am a proud wife :)

I created 4 cards using Sketch 105, they are very CAS. The flower imageand the thank you sentiment is from Nature's Greetings, the other sentiments are from All Occasion Tags and One in a Million sets by Gina K. Designs. I also used Fabric and Washi Tapes from Love My Tapes. Just to be sure the litlle rhinestones won't fall out, I used my heat glue gun to secure the it.

Hello my friends! I have another card using Latina Crafter Stamps, the image comes from "Michu volando una cometa" (Michu is flying a kite) and the sentiment is from "Mis frases favoritas" (My favorite sayings).
The image was colored with Copic markers, I added Star Dust Stickles to the hearts and ribbon from the kite. The sentiment was stamped in Barn Door Distress Ink.

I also used cute Washi Tapes: Light Green Chevron #002 and Red Diamond #006 and Lemon Bar Mini Check Fabric Tape from Love My Tapes.

Enjoy the ride: For my card I used "Vintage Chic" Set, I thought it would be cool to use some of the old sets :)

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock.
  • Mat Chocolate Brown and Patterned Paper, add straight stitches.
  • Stamp sentiment on a piece of Vellum paper in Vintage Photo Distress Ink, add Clear Embossing powder and heat it up. Cut vellum piece and add it to panel piece and add stitches.
  • Tie on ribbon. Make a double bow with bow easy, add it to card.
  • Stamp bicycle on Kraft Cardstock in Versamark Ink, add White Embossing powder and heat it up. Die-cut, emboss and stencil piece with Rectangle Nestabilities. Add to card with pop dots. Add mini pearls.

  • Cardstock: Ivory, Chocolate Brown, Kraft (GKD), Vellum Cardstock (LSS)

Hello my friends! Hope your day is fantastic. Time to show you more creations using new stamps from Heartfelt Creations! I love this stamp and wanted to create something elegant and vintage look at the same time.


Directions:
  • Make card base from Blue Cardstock. 6" x 6" square.
  • Cut a panel from Paptterned Paper, Adhere a strip from back side coordinated PP, distress and ink all edges. Add stitches.
  • Stamp sentimen in Black Soot Distress Ink. Adhere panel to card base.
  • Stamp image on Watercolor Paper in Stazon Black Ink. Color image with Faded Jeans Distress Ink. Die-cut, emboss and stencil piece with Circle Nestabilities Dies. Adhere piece to card base with Double Dots.
  • Stamp flowers on Patterned Paper in Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. Die-cut flowers using Tattered Blossoms Dies, Curl all petals with Paper Blossoms Tool Kit. Add Dies White Glue to all edges and add Brown Gala Glitz. Mount flower and add Light Blue Pearl Brad. To secure the flower I used glue heat gun.

Hello my friends! Today I have a very cute card for you. A couple of weeks ago I won stamps from "Latina Crafter" (through Paper Craft Magazine Facebook giveaways). The images are adorable and they manufacture stamps in Spanish! so if you are looking for "sellos en español" Latina Crafter is a great option for you. The image is from  "Michu volando su cometa Set" (Michu is flying a kite) and the sentiment is from "Mis Frases Favoritas Set" (My favorite phrases)

For my card I got inspired by the Deconstructed Sketch and the Moxie Fab World" Gingham Challenge".



Directions:
  • Make card base from Kraft Cardstock.
  • Cut a card panel from Ivory Cardstock (5" x 3.75"), ink all edges.
  • Cut panel from Pink Cardstock. Add Pink Gingham Patterned Paper (Hometown Summer "Pink Paislee")
  • Add panels to Ivory Card Panel.
  • Die-cut Scallop border from Pink cardstock, ink all edges and adhere it to card. Add zig-zag stitches.
  • Stamp sentiment in Black Soot Distress Ink.
  • Stamp image on Watercolor Paper in Stazon Black Ink. Color image with Distress Inks: "Old Paper, Antique Linen, Peeled Paint and Spun Sugar Distress Ink".
  • Die-cut, emboss and stencil image with Wonky Rectangle Dies (Spellbinders), add image to card with Pop dots.
  • Create a double bow with bow-easy and adhere it to card.
  • Add White Opal Liquid Pearls.

Long Distance Hug

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a fantastic day. Today I have a card for you, got inspired by the SCS Sketch and Moxie Fab World: The Postal Challenge. I really love this Vintage look card. The stamps are from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps "Vintage Postcard Set"


Directions:
  • Make card base from Kraft Cardstock.
  • Cut a panel from Ivory Cardstock (4" x 5.25"). Ink all edges.
  • Cut two strips from Patterned Paper (Weekend Market Postage: Bo Bunny), punch corners and add to card panel. Add stitches.
  • Add Dark Pink Lace Tape (Love My Tapes) and Pink twine (The twinery). Add card panel to card base.
  • Stamp Post Card saying on Ivory cardstock in Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. Stamp image in Tea Dye Distress and "Long Distance Hug: saying in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Label 8 Nestabilities Dies in Old Paper and Antique Linen Distress Ink.
  • Add stamp panel to card base with Pop dots.
  • Add a pink Prima flower with a white brad (American Crafts), ink all edges.

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock. 11" x 4.25". Score in half to get a A2 size card.
  • Stamp image and sentiment in Brushed Corduroy Ink. Add Clear embossing Powder and heat it up.
  • Using Paper piercing set, create a border frame.
  • Add small pearls to flowers.

You are a Classic

Hello my friends! Hope you all are having a great day and to all my beautiful crafty moms, hope you had a great day yesterday. I did indeed! The best thing is I didn't do anything, just sat down and watched all the TV shows I wanted, well until I fell asleep on the couch and decided to go to bed :)

I have a Masculine card to show you today. I used  Timeless Classic Set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Super simple card!

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock.
  • Stamp image on card base in Tea Dye Distress Ink and saying in Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
  • Cover a piece of Cardstock with Woodgrain Washi Tape (Love My Tapes). Die-cut the center of this panel with Wonky Rectangles Nestabilities. Punch all corners.
  • Adhere piece to card base with Large Pop Dots.
  • Add twine to right side of frame.

Vintage Birthday.

Hello my friends! Hope you are enjoying your day wherever you are. Here the weather has been so good, but today we are having a very crazy and windy day and although is sunny, the wind is very cold, no more AC and back to heat settings.
Anyways, I have a fun Vintage Birthday card for you today. I got inspired by the pretty picture from Tuesday Trigger: Vintage Vogue and the Twisted Tuesday Challenge "Birthday card + Ribbon"

For my card I used "Timeless Classic Set" released last week by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. The main image has a background, but cut out the image to use only the truck.


Directions:
  1. Make card base from Ivory Cardstock. A2 size.
  2. Cut a panel from Tan Leather Cardstock (5.25" x 4")
  3. Cut panels from Patterned Paper (Kaisercraft), ink and distress all edges. Adhere them to card panel and add stitches. Tie on seam binding ribbon and add Gold brad. Adhere panel to card base.
  4. Stamp image on Ivory cardstock in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Cut out truck and ink all edges. Die-cut a Rectangle piece from Ivory CS. Add image with Small pop dots. Die cut grass and fence from same Patterned Paper. Distress the PP with Peeled Paint Distress Ink for the grass and Vintage Photo and the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink for the fence. Adhere them to rectangle piece and to card base.
  5. Stamp sentiment in Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

  • Cut a piece of Red Carpet Cardstock (5.75" square) and dried emboss it with Swiss Dots embossing folder.
  • Add Beige Lace Tape on bottom part and adhere panel to card base.
  • Stamp image on Watercolor Paper in Stazon Black Ink. Color image with Inktense Watercolor Pencils, the colors used are: Mustard 1700, Willow 1900, Poppy Red 0400, Chilli Red 0500, Apple Green 1400, Field Green 1500, Dusty purple 0730. Die-cut and emboss image with Rectangle Nestabilities Dies.
  • Die-cut and emboss a piece of White Cardstock using Rectangle Fleur De Lis Nestabilities Dies.
  • Stamp Sentiment on Ivory Cardstock in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Die-cut and emboss piece with Labels Eight Nestabilities Dies.
  • Adhere sentiment to right bottom side of the image. Add Double Dots to image and sentiment and adhere it to White die-cut piece.
  • Add piece to card base.
  • Add pearls and Star Dust Stickles to image (center of flowers and dirt).

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock. 5.5" x 11". Score it and 5.5".
  • Cut a panel from Brown Cardstock (5.25" square) and distress all edges. Adhere it to card base.
  • Stamp Tattered Collage Image onto Ivory Cardstock in  Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. Distress and tear all edges. using a blending foam, ink edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink, then add Old Paper Distress Ink.
  • Color small flowers with Copic Markers (E11, YR000).  Stamp only flower side onto Ivory Cardstock, cut out all leaves and ink all edges using Crushed Olive Distress Ink. Bend the sides and add mini pop dots in the middle and glue in each corner, adhere them to main image.
  • Stamp Tattered Blossom Flowers onto Patterned Paper (Welcome Home by BoBunny) in Brushed Corduroy. Die-cut images using Tattered Blossoms Dies, then ink all edges with same ink color.
  • Using the Paper Blossom Kit, work on each petal. All Dry White Glue on each petal and add Brown Gala Glitz, set aside to dry for few minutes, then add flowers to main image. Finally, add a green dew drop to each flower.

Hello my friends! I have a CAS card using Western Bornco Stamps from Heartfelt Creations!. Super cute card!

Directions:

Make card base from Neutral Cardstock.  A2 size.Stamp horse, sentiment and splash in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Stamp an extra horse on Neutral Cardstock in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Set to dry ink and color image with Inktense Watercolor Pencils. Let image dry. Adhere image with foam tape and glue borders to give more dimension. Die-cut grass using Green Felt. Adhere to card and add Star Dust Stickles. Adhere ribbon on top and make a bow.

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great Monday, it's beautiful here, the sun is shining and not cold as last week.
Today I have a card i made using the Weekly sketch from "My Favorite Things", I love their sketches and always try to play along, but never have enough time. Submitting this card also to Simon Says Challenge: "Birthday".


This is my creation.

Directions:
  • Make card base from White cardstock.
  • Cut a panel from Pink cardstock, ink all edges and add Fabric Tapes:  Greeny Value pack and Taffy Mini Check,  Sherbert Mini Check Fabric Tape.
  • Stamp image from "Being Cute is What I do" (MFT) on Watercolor Paper in Stazon Black Ink. Color image with Distress Inks. Die-cut, emboss and stencil image with Circle Nestabilities.
  • Die-cut and emboss a piece of Innocent Pink CS using Scallop Circle Dies, mat this with image and adhere it to card.
  • Stamp sentiment from "You Take the Cake" (MFT) set in Barn Door Ink.
  • Create a flower using Fabric tape and Flower Dies. Add a red brad. Adhere it to card.

For my card I used the floral from "Floral Wreath" set and sentiment is from the new "One in a Million". The image was colored with Copic markers and cut it out. I embossed a panel with Seeing Spot embossing folder and ink all edges, added White and Light Green Lace Tape Ribbon (Love My Tapes) and Green Twine (The Twinery). I added White Opal Liquid Pearls to the flowers.

Sweet 'n Sassy May Release is here!!



Welcome to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps May New Release Celebration!  All of the Design Divas are excited to kick things off today with a fun blog hop full of inspiration using the sets that will be available for purchase in the store tonight.  Ready to get started?

Here are the cards I created with 2 wonderful sets "Wedding Cake" and "Timeless Classic"

Wedding cake Set
To the Happy Couple: Monochromatic and super simple card. Easy to make and wow a happy couple.

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock.
  • Using a embossing border from "Organic Flourish", embossed middle area. With the help of your scoring tool, add score lines.
  • Cut a couple of lines from Gold Cardstock (about 1/16") and glue it to card.
  • Stamp sentiment in Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
  • Stamp Wedding cake on Ivory Cardstock in Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
  • Die-cut and emboss image with Rectangle Fleur de Lis Nestabilities Dies. Adhere it to card with foam tape. Add little drops of White Opal Liquid Pearls to cake.
  • Die-cut heart (Sweet 'n Sassy heart dies) from Gold Cardstock. Add them to card.

Genesis 2:24: Another Clean and Simple card with few pretty details :)

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock.
  • Cut a panel from Ivory Cardstock (3.5" x 5")
  • Emboss panel with Seeing Spots folder, ink all edges with Dried Marigold Distress Ink. Adhere it to card base with Large pop Dots.
  • Stamp sentiment on Ivory Cardstock in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Die-cut and emboss it with Fancy Tags Two Dies. Adhere to card with Pop Dots.
  • Add floral ribbon.

 Timeless Classic Set:
Thank you DAD: Super Clean and Simple Card.

Directions:
  • Make card base from Kraft cardstock.
  • Stamp bottom border in Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Add a piece of Patterned paper.
  • Stamp DAD first (from I'm so glad you're my DAD) then stamp Thank you in Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
  • Punch round opposite corners and add score lines.

Happy Father's Day
Directions:
  • Make card base from Kraft cardstock. Ink all edges of front card with White and Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
  • Adhere pieces of Patterned Paper. Add screw brads.
  • Stamp image on Ivory Cardstock in Vintage Photo Distress Ink and adhere it to card.
  • Stamp image and sentiment on Ivory Cardstock. Die-cut and emboss it with Scallop Circle Nestabilities.

Heartfelt Creations Projects!!

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great Wednesday. Today, I want to show the projects I sent as a Semi-finalist for Heartfelt Creations and gave me a spot to the Design Team.

 Horses Trio
Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut a piece of Patterned Paper  (4" x 5.25"), ink all edges and distress. Add straight and zig-zag stitches. Adhere it to card base.
  • Cut a piece of Ivory Cardstock, ink all edges and distress. Add straight and zig- zag stitches. Adhere it to card base. Tie on hand-dye ribbon, make a bow and add horse shoe. Add Crystal Lacquer.
  • Horse Shoe: Die-cut 3 times the horse shoe, glue them together. Before applying the Crystal Lacquer, make a little hole using a needle and tie it together, then add it to ribbon :)
  • Image: Stamp small horse onto Watercolor Paper  in Walnut Stain Distress Ink, add Clear Embossing powder and heat it up. Die-cut a small horse and use it to cover previous horse and stamp the others. Repeat embossing technique.
  • Color horses with Inktense Watercolor Pencils.
  • Clouds: Create a little template and use it to repeat and sponge clouds on Watercolor Paper.
  • Ink all edges and add a piece of slightly bigger piece of Brown Cardstock.  Add straight stitches.
  • Adhere image to card base with foam tape.


Card Recipe
  • Cardstock: Ivory, Brown (GKD), Watercolor Cardstock.
  • Patterned Paper:  Frieda from English Rose Collection (Kaiser Craft)
  • Stamps: Western Bronco (Heartfelt Creations)
  • Ink: Walnut Stain Distress  (Ranger Industries)
  • Embellishments: Hand-dye ribbon.
  • Accessories: Western Broncos Dies (Heartfelt Creations), Paper distresser (CTMH), Scor-tape, Sewing machine, Sponges, Foam Tape, Inktense Watercolor Pencils.
Turquoise Farm
Directions:
  • Make card base from Neutral Cardstock. 6" x 6" square card.
  • Cut a piece of Neutral Cardstock (5.5" square). Distress and ink all edges, add stitches. Adhere panel to card base.
  • Die-cut and emboss a piece of Kraft Cardstock using Decorative Window Die. Adhere it to card base.
  • Stamp Farm Image onto Neutral cardstock in Bahama Blue Memento Ink. Die-cut, emboss it using Label 1 Nestabilities Dies. Stencil image with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
  • Adhere image to card base with foam tape.
  • Adhere floral Ribbon.
  • Die-cut and emboss a piece of Ivory Cardstock using Vine Die from Western Bronco Dies. Adhere it to card.
  • Die-cut Little Posies flowers from Layered Scalloped Posy Die using Turquoise Cardstock. Adhere them to vine and add White Gala Glitz.
  • Inside:  Cut a piece of Neutral Cardstock (5.5" square), ink all edges. Stamp Sentiment in Bahama Blue Memento Ink and farm on right bottom corner in Summer Sky. Adhere inside on card. 



 Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: Neutral, Turquoise (Stampin' Up), Ivory (GKD), Kraft (LSS)
  • Stamps:  Morning on the Farm (Heartfelt Creations)
  • Ink: Memento Bahama Blue, Memento  Summer Sky (Tsukineko), Tumbled Glass Distress, Tea Dye Distress (Ranger Industries)
  • Embellishments: Floral Turquoise Ribbon (Prima), White Gala Glitz, Star Dust Stickles (Ranger)
  • Accessories: Decorative Window Die, Western Bronco Dies, Layered Scalloped Posy Die (Heartfelt Creations), Grand Calibur, Labels 1 Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Sewing machine, Sponges, Paper distresser (CTMH), Foam tape.
