Lucky to have you.

Hello friends!! Happy Monday to you all. I think I am liking the CAS challenges and style of projects, I am not quitting my "own" style, I think I will do a CAS Monday, at least once a week {wink, wink}

This card was super easy to make, I used the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch as an inspiration and since St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner, I decided to make a green card using this cute die from Crafter's Companion.

Remember

Hello friends! Happy Friday to you all! Today, I have a super easy, yes, very easy card for you with super beautiful results! I have to confess, this image is one of my very favorites from Crafter's Companion.

Here are the steps:
  • Start making a card base from Ultra Premium White Cardstock.
  • Stamp Poppies from Poppies and Daisies set on a piece of watercolor cardstock in Jet Balck Stazon Ink.
  • Then, use the Burst Stencil and Mustard Seed Distress Ink and apply it to watercolor panel. Few areas of the poppies got a bit of ink, but I like it this way, looks more like a reflection going thru the petals.
  • Color image with Spectrum Aqua MarkersBlossom, Scarlet, Leaf Green, Chesnut, Chocolate.
  • Stamp sentiment from Poppy Perfect partners set in Jet Black Ink.
  • Cut watercolor panel to 3.75" x 5" dimensions. Adhere it to card base with foam adhesive.
  • Add sequins.
  • Finally, cover all the poppies with 3D Crystal Lacquer and set aside to dry (I let it dry overnight)

Birthday cards!!

Hello everyone, today I am sharing a couple of bright and cheerful birthday cards, March is a month with more birthdays than any month in the year so I went ahead and created a couple, and more on the way ;)
This time I used a super easy technique that Ken has shared several times. I started cutting my watercolor panels and then misting them with water and adding the Color Burst direct onto the watercolor paper. I added a little bit of water here and there, but just a touch, I really wanted to keep the bright colors in place. It was a lot of fun and I saved few drops on another panel, for a future project. I never waste any drops, hehehe. Have you seen Ken using the whole roll of paper towel when he is working on a project? I think I will start doing that.
I used the Eat Cake & Celebrate set  and coordinated dies from Concord & 9th

Color Burst Colors used for Happy Birthday card: Color Burst Merlot and Color Burst Ultramarine Blue

=============================

Color Burst Used for eat cake card: Yellow Ochre Lemon Yellow for the background, Sepia and Alizarin Crimson

I used Lamp Black Ink to stamp the sentiments.

Hope you like them.

Thank you so much

Hello friends!! Long time, no see or better say no post. I won't bother you with details, but I am doing better, my back was in a bit of pain and just needed a little break. I made few projects during the weekend and I want to share this special card for a special lady, she is amazing in what she does and the ladies at Crafter's Companion are very thankful for all the things she does for our team.

Anyway, this card is simple, yet elegant, I started using the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch, then I moved the center piece a little bit to the right to add the pretty poppies I colored, here are the details:

Cupcake anyone?

Hello friends! Hope you all had a great Valentine's Day, celebrating love and friendship. My husband and I went to a super fun and delicious dinner at our church, my daughter got some shopping done and Sunday was pretty quiet, husband needed to finish a lot of homework, so I relaxed and took a nap ;)

So for today I have a super cute cupcake box, which I decorated with this super cute cupcake image and colored it with the new Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens, so here are the details:

A closer look of the Sparkle from the pens. It is really lovely.

Hope you like it!
Have a fantastic day and eat a cupcake too.

Hello Baby

Hello friends!! Thursday is here!! I have a baby card for you today. I have a friend who just had a baby boy and I am planning to send her this card.

I used the sketch  #39 from Sugar Pea Designs, but you can check out the new sketch as well, this is a monthly challenge, I want to play the new sketch too, they help with my mojo ;)

This cute image is from "Bundle of Joy" set, I stamped part of the sentiment  and used the Baby die from "Baby Diaper Pin" die-cut set.
The image was stamped on a piece of watercolor paper in JetBlack StazOn ink and colored Spectrum Aqua Markers. I die-cut the "Baby" piece from a leftover panel of Ultramarine Color Burst. I used Green Envy Shimmering cardstock to cut the green thin lines. The cloud is also a leftover piece. Added stitches and added to a A2 card base.

Hope you like it!!

Amor + tutorial

Hello friends!! Hope you all are starting a fantastic week!! Today, I have a super easy and simple card with a WOW factor {wink, wink} I love using my Color Burst to add the little extra something you just need plus a sweet "Amor" die from Latina Crafter. I think both are the perfect combo. As I said, this project is super easy, you can mass produce them in no time.

Here are the steps:

  •  Tap the Color Burst on the watercolor piece, then spray water. Set aside to dry.

  •  On another piece of watercolor paper apply "Stick It" on the back of the piece, then die-cut the word "Amor" 3x, peel the backing paper, you can use the Tool it all to help you peel it faster.

  • Once the panel has dried, die-cut the word from this panel as well, save the little center from the letters "a" and "o" so then can be put once we adhere the "Amor" in white.

  • Add little hearts to the panel (I had them from an old die-cut, I save them just in case and I was glad I did), cover them with Stickles, then create a double bow and adhere it to the left corner.
  • Add panel to card base with square foam adhesive.

And this is how your card will look at the end.
