Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice

Hello friends! Hope you are having a great day, lots of yard and garden work to do around here, we are finally getting warm weather.
I have a very CAS card for you today using Latina Crafter stamps, I really love Bible verses and this one really makes me happy

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice (1 Chronicles 16:31)

For this card I used a cloud as a stencil and sponged it around, then stamped the heart and cloud image on front and 2 extras that were colored and cut out to create a 3D effect. At the bottom I stamped grass in different tones of green, then the stems and flowers. Finally the sentiment was stamped in Jet Black Archival.

Stamps used:
  1. Cloud "En una nube"
  2. Flowers "Eres especial"
  3. Bible verse "Confianza y Alabanza en el SeƱor"

Summer Die-Version Blog Hop

Hello friends!!! The Sweet 'n Sassy DT family has created a fantastic blog hop featuring 3 new die sets!! You are going to love them as much as I do, lots of possibilities. Shall we start? Oh yes, please!!

You Light up my life: For this card I used the new wave dies. They are fun and cute and you can even use the negatives as I did here! So instead of 2 you get 4 dies {sweet!!}
For this card I used Landscape Silhouettes set, the sentiment is from Shining Light Set. I also used a banner and cloud die.

When I am weak, HE IS STRONG: For this card I used the new shape dies, a whole collection of fun shapes, use them all or use just one ;) I used what I called "the eye shape" LOL. I used the color combo from the last Color Inspiration Challenge, love, love , love it!
The sentiment is from "Be Encouraged" set. I stamped the big poppy image from Precious Poppies set in Versamark Ink and added White Embossing powder. Love the subtle look.

Be thankful: For this card I used the new small leaves dies, this coordinates with "Nature Silhouettes 2 Set. I created a frame with hanging leaves, die-cut the leaves using Ivory and Green CS, stamped the leaves using Memento Tangelo and ink the edges with Tea Dye Distress. The sentiment is from Rhubarb's Autumn Joys. Added little stripes of PP and jute twine.

Hope you like my creations!
I will be using these dies a lot!!

Be sure to comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win one of our new die sets!  We will be awarding 3 winners one of the new die sets!

Thinking of you

Hello friends!! Hope you are having a great Saturday! I had quite a hard day yesterday, but today is a new day and I am very thankful for great friends and family who really care about me, sometimes you get hurt, but you have to get up, shake it up and keep moving.

Ok, time to move on and get crafty. I played the Inspiration Challenge from Splitcoaststampers, the site they chose has a lot of cute stuff (too expensive for my taste, but cute nonetheless)

So I chose this pillow as an inspiration and this is this is the card I made. The flower and sentiment come from the brand new Flower Blocks 2 from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, I colored it with Copic and Spectrum Noir Markers. The center of the flower was covered with Gold Gala Glitz (love this stuff!!), the ribbon is from May Arts.
Final size card is 4.75" x 4.75"

Hope you like it!!
Have a great day!

Gallery Idol Round 3 :Hello friend!

Hi everyone, it's time again!! I made it into the Gallery Idol Top 15, (sorry for being MIA, my daughter got sick, I got an allergy attack I thought I was losing my eyes and then I worked in my garden like a mad woman) and this round is about "Creating your own Background"

So, this is what I created:

Details:

  1. The background image was stamped on white cardstock in Walnut Satin Distress, added Clear embossing powder amd heat set. Then I sponged around with Tea Dye, Vintage Photo Distress, sprayed some water to make it look more natural. The BG image is called  "Grunge Borders" , the sentiment and dies are from "Mini Tags Bundle Set" all from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.
  2. The owl image was stamped several times, color with Spectrum Noir Markers, cut out and paper pieced, after that I added Crystal Lacquer to cover the whole image. I tried this new technique from Splitcoaststampers "3D paper Piecing" The owl image is called "Aqui Estoy" from Latina Crafter.
  3. I made the flowers using Vintage Floret Dies, I added Carmine 3D Paint to all the edges. The leaves were also die-cut, I used this and this, Moss 3D paint added to all the edges and folded and bended to give more dimension. ALl dies are from Heartfelt Creations.
ETA: I forgot to add I tried the 3D Paper Piecing Tutorial from Splitcoaststampers to make the owl

Gallery Idol Round 2 : For my country guy

Hello, thanks so much for stopping by and check out my project for the Gallery Idol Contest, this is week 1 and the theme is "Defining Dad". I asked my daughter how she defines her dad and she said "Funny", oh goodness, that doesn't help much, LOL. So I asked my husband and he thought about it and gave me the confused look and said, "I don't know, what do you think?" So I said I think a country guy, simple yet funny, love nature, wears a cowboy hat and wish you could find the perfect cowboys boots, we both laughed!! He agreed, so after that I went to my pile of stamps and found the perfect ones. Ok, I have to add I live in a country area, farms everywhere, animals, horses are my favorite, I talk to a white mare who I named "Bianca", she is pretty white with light spots, she loves people.

This is the view I get from my door.

Mt. Rainier saying good morning!

Mt. Adams, another beautiful view from my side of the mountains.

Ok, enough chatting, let me show the card I made with a lot of different shots. I call this card fun and interactive card, it has a lot of dimension, fussy cutting and die-cutting.
I used watercolor paper and lots of Distress Inks to color the image, let's see them.

All images and dies are from Heartfelt Creations.

Now, it's time to vote!! The top 20 have created fantastic projects, if you like mine, I will appreciate your vote :)

Click here to visit our Gallery Idol contest page. Voting is as easy as 1-2-3!
1. You’ll need to register with the contest tool to vote, so first go to the “Registration” tab.

My project is #13, thanks again!!

Have a blessed day!
