"Love My Tapes" Father's Day Blog Hop

The Love My Tapes Design Team welcomes you to a fun Father's Day Blog Hop!! The DT Members have used a variety of Love My Tapes products for you to get inspired, you will be amazed by all the wonderful creations!

If you came from JJ's blog, then you're right where you should be. If not, please go to the Love My Tapes' blog where you will find the list of participants.

I made a couple of projects for the formal and informal "dad/husband". Creating masculine cards sometimes can be a little difficult, so I decided to create 2 different styles.

Happy Father's Day: This is a very formal and CAS card. I used Navy Striped Fabric Tape. Added few Silver brads for an extra touch :)
All images are from Gina K. Designs.

Husband You Rock! : I honestly made a big mess creating this card, but I love how it turned out :)
I sprayed a piece of White Cardstock with Candy Apple and Copper Glimmer Mist, then added different Washi tapes: Green Stripes 812, Light Green Chevron 002, and Black/Gray Stripes 902
All images are from GinaK. Designs.

Now hop on over to Ashley's blog for more inspiration!

Don't forget to leave a comment while blogging along, one random commenter will win a fabulous Love My Tapes Prize that includes: "1 lace tape, 1 fabric tape, and 3 washi tapes"

And also you can find us on Facebook :)

Spread Love

Hello my friends!! Hope you all are having a great day. Here, the weather has been friendly, so my family and I decided to do some "garden work", I am so excited to see it growing, I already have lots of garlic, onion, chives and shallots!! and I just planted potatoes, arugula, carrots, and inside the house I started zucchini, tomatoes, basil, squash, peas, green beans. I am hoping for the weather to make its mind so I can transplant them, at night the weather is getting really chili (32F!). I've also been working on some DT projects and spending time with my family. I realized (well, I knew it)  my daughter is growing way too fast!!

Anyway, today I decided to create a card just for fun. I used the photo inspiration from Moxie Fab World and the Sketch from Fall to Layout Blog (CAS).

The picture from the MFWB is just too pretty and invited me to do some watercoloring. I scrabbled 2 different tones of Red, Yellow and a bit of Brown, I used Inktense Watercolor Pencils (Derwent) add some water and let it dried (well, I used my heat gun, no patience here), after that I used SU Butterflies Dies. Miss E. (The little one I babysit) helped me inking all the butterflies edges :), she loves to stamp with me.

I also used some pretty Washi Tape from Love my Tapes, I think you will see me using it a lot :)

The sentiment is from Gina K. Designs "Stately Flowers 3" set and also added some yummy Pink Sorbet Twine from The Twinery.

Hope you like it!!
Have a great day.

Love Frame

Hello my friends!! Hope you are enjoying your day. Today I want to invite you join us at Love my Tapes Blog and play our new Challenge, this month it is an Inspiration Photo Challenge.

And this is what I created:

I used the colors and flowers as my inspiration. I got this LOVE frame at my local scrapbook store. I covered it with Pink/White Polka Dot Fabric Sheet, then I ink all edges. I added some Pink Lace Ribbon around the heart and a couple of white crocheted flowers.
This is a picture of my husband and I after our wedding in Peru :)

TIP: Sometimes it's really hard to cover the little borders, so what I did is I cut strips of fabric sheet, about 1/4" and then carefully put it around the edges. If you click on the pictures, you can see it.

Hope you like it and play along with us.
Have a great day!!
