Crafter's Companion September Challenge "Autumn"

Hello friends! Happy Monday to you all. I hope your day is beautiful and amazing. I had a very relaxed weekend, didn't do much, yeah, perfect weekend!! I enjoyed a nice warm picnic with our church yesterday, some adults and kids got baptized and then we all had good times talking, eating, kids playing around!

Anyway, today, I have a really pretty card for you.  I made this card for Crafter's Companion September Challenge "Autumn". I chose this beautiful "Sunflower" image to create my "Autumn" project, isn't this sumflower image adorable?

To color the image I used Distress Ink pads : Wild Honey, Mustard Seed, Vintage Photo, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Peeled Paint, just squeezed a bit onto my craft sheet and used a fine paint brush and spray mist with water to dilute the color or get as much or little I wanted. I used regular cardstock, I used my heating tool after coloring a layer so the cardstock didn't peel.
After that, I covered the center of sunflowers with Crystal Lacquer and added clear glitter. Stitches and ribbon were added, just kept it simple :)

Hope you can join us and play along with us for your chance to win $30 GC to Crafter's Companion Store!! All details about this challenge can be found HERE.

Before I go, I want to show you a picture of one of my sunflowers!! I planted them for the first time this year, they are HUGE and beautiful!!

  2. Oh wow, this is great. You truly brought the flowers into life. Nicely done! We appreciate you joining us last week and would love for you to play along with us again this week at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with God's Word in Hebrews 12:2---"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hugs and blessings!
