Anyway, today I have a very simple. yet elegant and easy tutorial for you. I saw a similar box at the box the other day, and immediately thought I can do that and I am very happy with the results. I used the brand new Big Score from Crafter's Companion, it's perfect to create this kind of projects or even bigger projects.
So, let's get started.
- Step 1: Score your piece of cardstock at 0.5", 4", 6" and 9.5".
- Step 2: Turn cardstock around and score at 1.5" and 7".
- Step 3: From first scoring, cut out parts 1, 3 and 5.
- Step 4: Cut slits from bottom part to get perfect closing.
- Step 5: Decorate panels if desired. Top panels: 3.25" x 4.25". Bottom panels: 5.25" x 3.25" and 5.25" x 1.75".
- Step 6: Die-cut circles on top, add ribbon. Stamp sentiment, decorate around edges.
What do you think? I think this box is super easy and it can be used with chocolates, little gifts, pencils, crayons, the sky is the limit.
Beautiful box! Thanks for the tutorial. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous gift box, Giovana…perfect for Easter candy! I'll have to give this a try!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tutorial on the 'yummy' box.
ReplyDeleteYou don't do many 3D projects. I love this box. The top is very different. I hope you'll make more things like it. Can't wait to see more. Thank you for the instructions. I may make some for Easter.
