Welcome to day #3 of our April release features!
Precious Poppies
- Stamp set includes 3 images and 17 sentiments
- Set measures approximately 8" x 6"
- The large group of poppies measures approximately 4 1/2" x 3 1/8"
- Designed by Korin Sutherland
- Stamp set is priced at $26
Directions:
- Make card base from Ivory cardstock. A2 size.
- Mat a piece of Light Pink CS (3.75" x 5") and Patterned Paper and add stitches. Die-cut a piece of Vellum using Large Scallop Border Die and add it to panel, add zig-zag stitches. Add Red Ribbon.
- Add panel to card base.
- Stamp large poppies on White cardstock in Jet Black Archival Ink. Color image with Prismacolor Pencils.
- Colors used: PC922, PC924, PC926, PC939, PC938, PC1002, PC912, PC1077(Colorless blender)
- I cut out the top off the right poppy and the side od the left one so I can put it through the Rectangle Nestabilities Dies.
- Stamp Sentiment on a piece of Vellum in versamark Ink and add White Embossing powder.

Happy Mother's Day: This is super "Clean and Simple" card.
Directions:
- Make card base from Sandy Beach Cardstock. A2 size.
- Cut a panel from Ivory CS (3.75" x 5"). Stamp Background Poppy and Sentiment in Versamark Ink, add Gold Embossing powder and heat set.
- Give the image a little bit of color.
- Add twine a a button, make a bow.

Your cards are very pretty. I like that you didn't use traditional "poppy" colors on the second card. Very soft and nice.

ReplyDeleteThese two cards are beautiful. The coloring on the first card is so pretty. The matching ribbon and the pearls really set the finishing touches. The 2nd card is elegant. The sandy beach cardstock, the gold embossing and the button and twine really set it off. Thanks
