Welcome August and a card.

Hello!! Can you believe we are starting another month?! Time flies, well, not really :) My daughter is excited to start school in few more weeks, don't know yet about the homework and going to bed and getting up earlier :) Right now she enjoys going to be bed late and getting up late as well.

Anyways, I have a fun card I finished today. I started this card 2 days or so ago. I had all the intentions to finish it last night, so after dinner I was rinsing dishes and a can of cream of mushrooms I used and then, BAM!! I cut my finger really bad, although it was one left fingers, still couldn't do much, did I tell how much it hurt?!! Today, it was not looking too good because during the night started to bleed again, SHESHH!! but I was able to finish my card.

The sketch is from Latina Crafter Sketch Challenge, you can post your card HERE and don't need to use Latina Crafter stamps.



Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock.
  • Cut a panel from textured Red carpet Cardstock (3/75" x 5"). Die-cut a scallop edge and adhere it to panel. Tie on ribbon.
  • Stamp image on White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Color ir with Copic Markers.
  • Die-cut, emboss and stencil image with Label Fourteen Nestabilities.
  • Die-cut and emboss a piece of Pink Cardstock using a bigger Label die.
  • Mat label pieces together with Pop dots. Adhere it to card base.
  • Create a triple bow with bow-easy in White Seam Binding Ribbon. Add bitty bottom and adhere it to card.
  • Add pearls.

A Tag and a Decor Frame

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great day! Today I have a Home Decor and a tag for you. I used stamps, dies and Patterned paper from the new "Classic Editions Collection" from Heartfelt Creations.

Tag

Directions:
  • Cover Tag with Patterned Paper. Ink all edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
  • Stamp pumpkins and wagon on White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black. Color images with Copic Markers and die-cut them.
  • Stamp tree as a background image.
  • Add images to tag. Stamp sentiment.
  • Add Beige Lace Tape. Tie on ribbon and hemp twine.
  • Adhere Glitter to image.

Happy Thanksgiving Decor Frame

Directions:
  • Start stamping bucket in Memento Sweet Cocoa and pumpkinks and apples in Memento Tuxedo Black, color them with Copic Markers, then die-cut images.
  • Stamp truck on Watercolor Paper in Balck Stazon Ink. Color it with Inktense Watercolor Pencils. Die-cut image.
  • Ink all edges of frame with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
  • Cut a piece of Patterned Paper from "Classic Editions Collection" 5.25" x 5.25", glue it to frame then ink all edges.
  • Stamp Stem Spray around edges in Peeled Paint Distress Ink.
  • Stamp Corn Sheaves in Vintage Phot Distress Ink. Color it with Copic Markers.
  • Add die-cut images as you prefer on your frame.
  • Stamp sentiment on Ivory Cardstock in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Die-cut and emboss it with Fancy Tags 2 Shapeabilities Dies. Adhere it to frame.
  • Add Glitter to stems and pumpkins, then add Crystal Lacquer to apples, pumpkins and truck's tires.

Cherish every moment

Hello my friends!! Hope your Monday is great. I spent few hours stamping this last weekend, I usually rest or watch TV, but I decided to play another challenge from the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges!

My card is very Clean and Simple! what do you think?

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock.
  • Stamp flowers in VersaMark Ink, add clear embossing powder and heat it up.
  • Stamp sentiment in Black Archival Ink.
  • Sponge all flowers and leaves with Distress Inks/
  • Add pearls.
  • Tie on ribbon, create a  bow with a bow-easy and add to card.

Happy Birthday Peru and a card!!

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great, wow, looks like the time in the Summer flies a lot faster.
Today it's Peru Independence Day!!! 191 years! Feeling a little bit homesick, I miss my family a lot as well as the great food and all the goodies we have over there. Wishing I could be there, but I know my family is celebrating with me in mind ;)

I created this card for one of the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges using the sketch from "Less is More" challenge Blog. This is my interpretation of "Clean and Simple"


Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock  (3.5" x 5.5")
  • Emboss a strip of White Cardstock. Die-cut a scallop boder from White Cardstock. Adhere both to card base.
  • Add a piece of  White Lace Tape Ribbon.
  • Die-cut butterflies, stamp images using Glue Pad, then add Microfine Glitter. Adhere butterflies to card, add pearls.
  • Add Liquid Pearls to scallop border.
  • Stamp sentiment.

Matthew 21:22

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great day. I have a pretty to show you today. All images and dies are from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. For this card I used the Sketch from Splitcoaststampers and pretty Fall colors, I am so ready for Fall :)

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory cardstock.
  • Mat Chocolate Cardstock with Patterned Paper. Add straight and zig-zag stitches. Distress all edges and adhere panel to card base.
  • Die-cut butterflies from Patterned Paper and stamp butterflies in Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.
  • Die-cut oval frame, stamp frame topper and saying.
  • Adhere Oval frame to card, add butterflies. Add pearls.
  • Create a triple bow with bow-easy and a clear rhinestone and adhere it to card.
TIP: Since glue dots don't work for me, I use my heat glue gun to secure my brads, pearls, rhinestones, butterflies :)

 Hello my friends! Time for another Heartfelt Creations time, I have a very sweet and delicious card for you all.

For you: 

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock. Emboss front of card with Square Lattice folder.
  • Mat White and Burgundy Cardstock, Adhere a strip of Classic Edition Patterned Paper and add stitches.
  • Stamp sentiment in Black ink (I used partial sentiment from A Note for you, just cover the part you are not going to stamp with tape, ink your sentiment and then remove the tape for a perfect partial impression)
  • Stamp apples and basket. Color them, die-cut basket and cut out apples.
  • Die-cut and emboss a circle in white and The Circle Motif in Burgundy. Mat them together, add basket and apples using pop dots. Add Crystal Lacquer to apples.
  • Tie on ribbon and add brad.

Let it snow, frosty house!

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great day! Today I have a Christmas card for you. I used this cute image from Latina Crafter, this set is called "Christmas House". 

Directions:
  • Make card base using largest die from Fleur de Lis Square Nestabilities in Red Cardstock.
  • Mat Jelly Bean Green Cardstock and Patterend Paper, add stitches and tie on ribbon. Adhere it to card base.
  • Stamp image in Memento Tuxedo Black on White Cardstock. Color image with Copic Markers. Die-cut and emboss it with Circle Nestabilities.
  • Adhere image to card base.
  • AddWhite Opal Liquid Pearls to snow points and Star Dust Stickles to ground area and top of house.
  • Create a triple bow with Bow-easy and adhere it to card. Add a green rhinestone.

  • Stamp sentiment in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Tie on gold tinsel.
  • Add a couple of Gold head nails. Mat this piece with a 4.5" square panel of Good as Gold Cardstock.
  • Die-cut Candle, stamp image onto die cut piece in Watermark Versamark Ink, add Gold embossing powder and adhere it to card with large Pop dots.
  • Adhere panel to card base with large pop dots.

Merry Christmas: I called this card my AOLC: Almost One Layer Card. I made it that way, but then I decided to change it a little bit and stamped an extra image, die-cut it using one of the new die-cuts from SNSS, I like it much better this way :)

Directions:
  • Make card base from White cardstock. A2 size.
  • Stamp image on card in Barn Door Distress Ink.
  • Stamp sentiment in Forest Moss Distress Ink.
  • Tie on ribbon, Create a triple bow with Bow-easy. Add a gold brad and adhere it to card.
  • Add Green Rhinestones.
  • Stamp image on an extra piece of White cardstock. Die-cut it and stamp Decorative Toppers.
  • Adhere die-cut piece to card.

Heartfelt Creations Release Day! "Classic Edition Collection.

Hello and welcome to another Heartfelt Creations Release!! This month we are delighted to release our very first line of Heartfelt Creations Patterned Paper. Check out the beautiful patterns, luscious colors, and organic textures. Some come with our stamp images in them; others are abstract. This will add some fun and variety to your creations!

The Classic Edition Collection Stamp sets and Die release is gearing towards the fall season and colder days. A rustic truck, wooden wagon, playful dog, berries, apples, and pumpkins will keep you busy creating as the sun begins disappearing earlier in the evenings. Our card samples will give you many ideas to get your creative juices flowing.

Here is what I've created for you today:

So Thankful for you!

Directions:
  • Make card base from Naturals Cardstock. 6" square card.
  • Cut a panel from Chocolate Cardstock (5.5" square) and mat it with Classic Edition Patterned Paper, Adhere a strip of a different style PP and Add Straight and zig-zag stitches. Make a double bow, add hemp and brad. Tie on ribbon around panel and add bow.
  • Stamp corn on Ivory Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Color them with Copic Markers.
  • Stamp Truck on White Cardstock, color image with markers and die-cut it. Stamp dog on Ivory Cardstock, color it with markers and cut it out and glue it onto truck image.
  • Mat corn panel with a piece of slightly piece of Chocolate carstock. Add stitches. Adhere panel to card base. Use double dots to add truck to card. (to give more dimension)
  • Inside: Mat Chocolate Cardstock and Patterned Paper. Add zig-zag stitches. Stamp sentiment.

Another Baby Card

Hello my friends!!  Sorry for being so quiet in the last few days, but since the weather hasn't been too bad, I decided to do a lot of yard work and then I was DONE!! I couldn't even move my arms, LOL. But now, I am feeling better and ready to show another CAS and OLC I made using the set Bebé from Latina Crafter.

Talking about Latina Crafter, every month a new sketch challenge is posted and you can win some of their pretty stamps. The rules are in Spanish, but if you decided to play along, just create a card, using Latina Crafter Stamps are not required, link your direct post to the blog and you are in :)

  • Create a twine mini pom-pom and adhere it to card.

A baby card!

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great day and staying cool as well. Today I have a very cute and sweet card for you. First, I will be joining the Latina crafter DT as a Special Guest Designer, that means I will be posting projects using Latina Crafter Stamps in its blog in Spanish :) and here in English. Thanks Diana for inviting me :)

Here is my cute baby card using a brand new set called "Bebé".

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock.
  • Mat White Cardstock and Bubblegum Pink Cardstock, add zig-zag stitches.
  • Stamp stroller and bear on White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black, color them with Copic Markers and cut them out.
  • Die-cut fence, grass and clouds, adhere them to card panel. Stamp Bebe on bigger cloud in Black Ink.
  • Add stroller and bear to card panel with Medium Pop Dots.
  • Add Ruby Red Liquid Pearls and a little bit of Star Dust Stickles to stroller.

  • Die-cut extra mail box and bird. Insert bird in Mail box image.
  • Die-cut and emboss image with Circle Nestabilities. Add extra mail box on image with medium pop dots.
  • Die-cut and emboss a piece of Patterned paper with Scallop Circle Nestabilities. Mat this with image and add to card with Double Dots.
  • Cover bird and flowers with Crystal Lacquer. Add Gold Gala Glitz to flowers.

Have a Beautiful Day

Directions:
  • Make card from Ivory Cardstock (A2 size)
  • In a piece of White Carsdock (3.75" x 5") stamp wood grain background in Vintage Photo and Tea Dye Distress Ink, then sponge the whole piece with Tea  Dye Distress Ink.
  • Mat this piece with Cranberry Tart Cardstock and add stitches. Add piece to card base.
  • Stamp sentiment on Ivory Cardstock in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Die-cut, emboss and stencil with Floral Oval Nestabilities. Add to card with Double Dots.
  • FLOWERS: These flowers are super easy and cute to make. First you need coffee filters. Make them as flat as you can, spray the filters with Glimmer Mist (any color you like, for my flowers I used Candy Apple), let them dry (about 5 minutes), then stamp the images on the filters and die-cut them. Then you have lots of flowers to work with :) Pile 4-5 flowers to create 1 big dimensional flower.
  • Glue flowers to card.
  • Add pearls.

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop: The Good Life & Assorted Greetings

The Good Life: This set is so much fun!! Perfect to create scene cards, scrapbook pages and more!! Check out the card I created using the Side Step Card.

Directions:
  • Create a card following the direction from the Side Step Tutorial from Chocolate Cardstock.
  • Cut panels to decorate the front and back side. Mat Lemond Drop and Patterend Paper, add stitches and adhere them to card.
  • Stamp images on White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black, color them with Copic Markers and cut them out.
  • Stamp camping table on Patterned Paper and cut it out. Stamp tent on Calypso Blue in Black Soot Distress Ink, add Clear Embossing powder and set to heat, cut it out.
  • Die-cut grass from Jelly Bean Green Cradstock, ink all edges with Crushed Olive Distress Ink and adhere them to card.
  • Stamp banner direct on Patterend paper, color them with Copic marker (or any markers), add White Opal Liquid Pearls and Star Dust Stickles.
  • Stamp sentiment on Ivory Cardstock in Barn Door Distress Ink.

Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: Whitem Chocolate, Lemon Drop (GKD)
  • Patterned paper: Springtime (Echo Park Paper)
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Barn Door Distress (Ranger), Copic Markers.
  • Embellishments: White Opal Liquid Pearls, Star Dust Stickles (Ranger)
  • Accessories: Scor-tape, Scor-buddy, Mono-Multi (Tombow),  Grass Die (Sweet 'n Sassy), Sewing machine

Assorted Greetings: This is the new "Free with 3", you get this set for free with the purchase of 3 sets :)

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock. (A2 Size)
  • Cut a panel from patterned paper (3.75" x 5"). Die-cut a scallop border from coordinated Patterend paper, adhere it to card panel and add zig-zag stitches. Add to card front.
  • Fold ribbon and adhere it to card panel.
  • Stamp sentiment in Barn Door Distress Ink. Die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Floral Oval Nestabilities.
  • Adhere sentiment to card with Pop dots.
  • Add Red Rhinestones.

I Do! : This set was designed by the very talented Becky Oehlers, beautiful set! This is the card I created.

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock (7" x 4")
  • Cut a piece of Carnival Blue Cardstock (1" x 7") and adhere it to card base.
  • Stamp hexagons in Memento Summer Sky Ink.
  • Stamp I Do! in Black Archival Ink.
  • Tie on ribbon, make a bow and add it to card.
  • Add heart blue rhinestone.

Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: White, Blue Carnival (Gina K. Designs)
  • Ink: Memento Summer Sky (Tsukineko), Black Archival (Ranger)
  • Embellishments: Light Blue Satin Ribbon (Offray), Heart Rhinestone (Prima)

Tropical Nature: Another pretty set designed by Theresa Momber, I just wish I could go to a place like this :)

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock. (A2 size)
  • Emboss front of card with Square Lattice Embossing folder.
  • Emboss a strip of Innocent Pink Cardstock (4.25" x 1.25") with same embossing folder. Adhere it to card and tie on ribbon.
  • Stamp waterfall image and sentiment on White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black. Color image with Copic Markers. Add White Opal and Red Ruby Liquid Pearls.
  • Die-cut, emboss and stencil image with FLoral Oval Nestabilities.
  • Adhere image to card base.
  • Add Star Dust Stickles to water fall lines.
  • Create a double bow with bow easy and adhere it to card. Add blue flower Rhinestone.

Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: White, Innocent Pink (Gina K. Designs)
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)
  • Embellishments: Star Dust Stickles, White Opal and Ruby Red Liquid Pearls (Ranger), Light Blue Seam Binding Ribbon, Blue Rhinestone (Prima)

Grand Tags: This beautiful sets designed by Tami Mayberry is perfect to create cards to grandma or grandpa! I don't own Labels 22 (yet), so I decided to play with a different Labels Die to create my card :)

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock (5" square)
  • Mat Innocent Pink Cardstock and Patterned paper. Add zig-zag stitches and tie on ribbon. Create a double bow with the bow-easy, add brad and add to card.
  • Stamp label image (x2) on Ivory Cardstock in Worn Lipstick Distress Ink.
  • Die-cut images using Labels 3 Nestabilities Dies. Stamp sentiment in Aged Mahogany.
  • Add Labels to card base.

Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: Ivory, Innocent Pink (GKD)
  • Paper: Lost & Found 2 (My Mind's Eye)
  • Ink: Worn Lipstick, Aged Mahogany (Ranger)
  • Embellishments: Hand-dye seam binding ribbon, Gold brad (American Crafts)

Pretty Patterns: This beautiful set designed by Melanie Muenchinger is fantastic!! I know you already love it, I have created a couple of more cards using the other patterns and I can wait to show them to you, but for now I have a chevron card for you.

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock.
  • Stamp chevron pattern on White Cardstock in Memento Summer Sky Ink. Mat this piece  with a a slightly bigger piece of Lemon Drop Cardstock.
  • Tie on ribbon.
  • Add Paper flower and button.
  • Stamp sentiment (from Grand Tags) in Black Archival Ink and add it to card.

Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: White, Lemon Drop (GKD)
  • Ink: Memento Summer Sky (Tsukineko), Black Archival (Ranger)
  • Embellishments: Dandelion Grosgrain Ribbon (GKD), Yellow button, Pink Paper flowers (Prima)
  • Accessories: Scor-tape, Sewing machine.
