    Love this set very much, Bible verses are always needed and this set is just perfect!

    Here are the details:
    • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock. A2 size.
    • Cut a piece of red Cardstock (5" x 3.75"), add a slightly smaller piece of Patterned paper.
    • Cut a piece of burlap and add it to panel.
    • Stamp Bible verse on a tag in Olive Archival Ink. Add it to card panel.
    • Add lace, twine and paper flower.
    • Add rhinestones.

    Top Dog Dies and Echo Park Paper Blog Hop


    Hello friends! Welcome to Top Dog Dies and Echo Park Paper Blog Hop! Both Design Teams are joining today to bring fun projects.

    This is the project I have for you "An Easter Bunny decoration". Echo Park Paper provided us the "Splendid Sunshine Collection", beautiful papers and stickers!

    The tree was a little time consuming, but I had fun die-cutting eggs while watching TV with my daughter. So, I die-cut eggs from Basket and Egg set and Bunny and Eggs, I die-cut about 95 in total, then I glued the matching papers together, so they can look the same on both sides :)
    Then, I die-cut the bunnies using the pink and blue papers, for the basket I used cork. I have quite few close-up pictures below with more details.

     
    Decoration set-up, I think it turned up pretty cute.

    My daughter baked chocolate cupcakes for the very first time, all by herself, we decorated some of them, super cute!!
     
     Peek-a-boo!! Can you see me?  I think the bunnies are adorable. The decoration around the pot is a sticker border.
     
     The pot was resting on a Bella Doily, more pretty papers from Echo Park Paper!

    Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps March Blog Hop Day 2: Borders and Backgrounds

    Welcome to Day 2 of March Blog Hops. Today we are featuring Borders and Backgrounds Stamps and coordinated dies.

    This is the project I have for you today. When I first saw this set, I thought it could be great for masculine designs, I don't why, just my silly brain and ideas. Anyway, I tried this combo I have never done "Dark Gray + Gold" and then I thought it could be great for "Graduation".  What do you think?

    Here are the details:
    • Cut a piece of Dark Gray cardstock: 7" x 8", folded in half to get a 7" x 4" card.
    • Cut a piece Gold Cardstock 6.75" x 3.75". Center the die and die-cut.
    • Stamp coordinated image on front card in Versamark ink, add gold embossing powder and heat set.
    • Stamp sentiment from Flower Blocks 1 on Ivory Cardstock in Coffee Archival Ink, add it to die-cut piece and add stitches.
    • Add die-cut window piece to card with dimensionals.
    • Add a couple of black of rhinestones to sentiment.

    Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps March Blog Hop Day 1: Flower Block 3

    Welcome to Day 1 of March Blog Hops, today we are featuring

    This is the third set in our Flower Blocks series.  These bold and beautiful blooms make the perfect focal image and can be easily paper-pieced or colored.


    • Stamp set includes 4 images and 4 sentiments
    • Set measures approximately 6" x 8"
    • The images measure approximately 2 5/8" x 2 5/8"

    This is the project I have for you today, I love all the flowers in this set. I spent some time coloring this beautiful rose in red, isn't it gorgeous?

    Here are the details:
    • Make card base from White Cardstock. A2 size.
    • Die-cut background from patterned paper and adhere it to card.
    • Stamp image on White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black, then color it with markers, I used Spectrum Noir.
    • Cut image, leaving about .25" on each side, mat it to a red piece of card stock and add stitches, add dimensional and add it to card.
    • Die cut label and stamp sentiment in Jet Black Archival Ink. Double mount dimensionals and add it to card.
    • Cover rose with 3D Crystal Lacquer and sprinkle clear glitter. Set aside to dry.
    • Finally add few green sequins.

    It's a Birthday celebration!!

    Hello friends! Hope your day is fantastic. Today I have this super cute card for you. I love all the Bebunni Collection images, isn't this bunny adorable? This image is from the Hip Hop Hooray set and colored with Spectrum Noir Markers.

    Here are the details:
    • Make card base from Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. 5.5" x 11", folded in half to get a 5.5" square card.
    • Stamp image from Hip Hop Hooray set on Ultra Smooth White Cardstock in Black Ink.
    • Color image with Spectrum Noir markers:
      • Bunny: BGR1, BGR2, GG1.
      • Tummy and ears: FS5, PP4, PP2, BP5, BP4, BP3.
      • Bow: DR5, DR4, DR2, DR1
      • Birthday: CR8, CR7, CR4
      • Present: PL3, PL2, PL1
      • Shadow: BG5, BG4, BG2
    • Cut image into a 4.25" square, mat it with a 4.5" square red piece, add stitches.
    • Add it to a 5" square patterned paper piece.
    • Add fabric tag and bow.
    • Cover "birthday" word with 3D Crystal Lacquer, then sprinkle clear glitter.
    • Add a tiny clear rhinestone to bunny's bow.

    This is what I created for this month's challenge "Altered Books".  I have to confess I was a little bit intimidated by this challenge, but I am feeling much more confident now. I had to go to Goodwill and get a book "any book", I just wanted one with a hardcover, after walking around and getting intoxicated by the "smell" (sorry, I have asthma and the old books and I are not a good pair), I picked this book, I have no idea what it's about and after reading a little bit, I decided this book is for a project, I will start altering the pages and sharing them with you, I am super excited!!

    Let's get started with this fun challenge:
    • Pick a book, any book, I think a hardcover works better. This is the one I picked up. 
     
    • Remove the paper cover, add Gesso to the cover. My idea was just to paint the center part, I think I added a little bit too much, but I liked it. Set aside to let it dry. (It doesn't take too long).
     
     
    • Spray the cover (I just wanted to match  the cover with the pretty flower), set aside to dry. After that, Add a couple of pieces of burlap.

    Hello friends! Hope you are having a great day. Last Saturday, Top Dog Dies released new dies and the are all beautiful!! This background "Flower Mosaic" is one of them, you can check out all of them HERE.

    Here are the details:
    • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock. A2 size.
    • Cut a panel from Cranberry cardstock (4 1/8 " x 5 3/8")
    • Stamp Leafy Flourish Background on white cardstock in Versamark Ink, add White embossing powder and heat set, after that sponge all the image with Antique Linen Distress Ink, after that die cut piece with "Flower Mosaic" die. Adhere it to Cranberry piece.
    • Die-cut a couple of Wildflowers from Red and Brown Cardstock, paint red one with Red Metallic paint, adhere them to card front, Add a button and twine.
    • Die-cut a tag from  Alexa Frames Die set, stamp sentiment from Long Stem Silhouettes set in Red Ink.

    Picnic time!

    Hello friends! Happy Tuesday to you all. I think we all want some "Spring" and warm temperatures, we are back to freezing temperatures and some snow too, not like the East Coast, but snow/icy roads, not fun!
    So, since I am thinking Spring, that means picnic time! I used this cute set from Latina Crafter called "Una Canasta para ti" (A basket for you). This is a mini card 3.5" square and I think it's perfect for picnic invitations :)
    I colored the image with Spectrum Noir pencils (available by late March), I added a piece of cork behind the image and a big brad. To bring a little bit of breeze colors I added Turquoise Twine, the final details was a little bit of doodling around.



    The saying says : Picnic, would you come ?


    I used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch.

    Z Becky Brown and Cardmaker Magazine Blog Hop



    Hello friends!! Welcome to the Z Becky Brown and CardMaker  Blog Hop! Some of you may remember the Z Becky Brown purse from several years back. Well, they are back and more in style than ever! The Z Becky Brown purse makes a great vehicle to showcase all of your favorite, trendy crafting products and techniques.

    This is the insert I have created for you today. What I had in mind was something completely different, but at the end I think I like the results, a little bit rustic and as I called it "Imperfect".

    I used a Ziva Papers Insert, text patterned paper, I torn the patterned paper into small pieces and glued them on the insert, then added Mod Podge and gesso, after this I sprayed them with Red Mist (but I didn't like the way it turned out) so I covered the pieces with white paint, the red was very strong, so I added Ginger Twinkling H2O paint to covered the white paint, and I loved the results!! I wanted to bring back the text background from the patterned paper, so I took my Typewriter Text Background Stamp and stamped it randomly, then I stamped the big Poppy on the corners. Finally to seal the colors I sprayed the inserts with Spray & Sparkle Multicolor Glitter

    Welcome Little One

    Hello friends!! Happy Thursday to you all. Today I have a sweet baby card for you. I love to make baby cards, they are fun and cute!

    Here are the details:
    • Make card base from White Cardstock. A2 size.
    • Cut a panel from White Cardstock (3.75" X 5"), stamp Delightful Doilies in Versamark ink, add White embossing powder and heat set. Sponge the panel with different pastel inks to create a soft background.
    • Mat this piece with a slightly bigger piece of Pink cardstock, add zig-zag stitches.
    • Die-cut a  stitched label from White cardstock, stamp sentiment from Vintage Baby set in Memento Teal Zeal ink. Adhere it to panel with dimensionals.
    • Tie on Light Blue Chevron Twil Ribbon around panel. Add a clear button and turquoise twine.
    • Add panel to card base.

    Hello friends!! Happy Wednesday, today I have a very Classy and elegant card for you all. Wouldn't you love to receive a pretty card? I would for sure! I put on good use my new Top Dog Dies and stamps from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

    My card got inspired by the Cardabilities sketch and the Card Concept theme.

    Here are the details:
    • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock. 6" x 6" card.
    • Cut a panel from Patterned Paper (5.5" square), ink all edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Stamp Typewriter Text Background in Vintage Photo Distress.
    • Die-cut Madison Doily Die in Patterned Paper, adhere it to card. Add paper border to card.
    • Die-cut Wildflower Die from Patterned Paper and textured Yellow cardstock. Adhere them to card.
    • Add a double bow and a red paper flower.
    • Die-cut tag from Alexa Frames Die set from Ivory Cardstock, ink all edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink, stamp sentiment from Keep in Touch set in Coffee Archival Ink. Add tag to card with dimensionals.
    • NOTE: I used scraps pieces of patterned paper, I wish I could know what brand they are, but I don't know.

    Heartfelt Creations Alumni February Blog Hop

    Hello friends!!  It's time to blog hop with the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Team!! I know we are all thinking "Spring", we are tired of snow and cold weather, so I decided to make a card with  a lot of greens, ahhhh I am thinking Spring already!

    Here are the details:
    • Make a card base from Green textured Cardstock. 6" x 6" card.
    • Cut a panel from pink textured cardstock. 5.25" x 5.25" panel. Score panel, two lines on each side. Add panel to card base.
    • Stamp image from All Season Gazebo Set on Watercolor paper in Jet Black Archival Ink. Color image with Colored pencils. Mat image with a slightly bigger piece of Pink Cardstock and add stitches. Add panel to card base.
    • Die-cut a couple of swirl leaves (from Gift Ensemble Die set) in Ivory cardstock. Add them to card.
    • Add a bow and pearls to each corner.
    • Add Crystal Lacquer to top trees, little dots of Ruby Liquid Pearls to side leaves.
