It is Thursday and it means another Mothers and Daughters Creations Blog Challenge. This week our challenge was to create a card with glitter accents. So I created two cards for this challenge.
Porch with Pumpkins
For this card I used the Sketch from "Our Creative Corner", the patterned paper is Harvest Stripe from Best Creation Inc , this paper has a lot of glitter accent, excellent for your Fall or Thanksgiving cards. The pretty image is Porch with Pumpkins by Serendipity . I colored the image with Watercolor pencils and Watercolor crayons, I added then a little bit of markers to dark only few areas, after the image was dry I applied some Diamond Glaze to make a shiny image.
I zig zag stitched my second a third layer and the image has also some stitches.
Card Recipe:
Card stock: Kraft, Really Rust, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, White.
Paper: Harvest Stripes by Best Creations Inc.
Ink: Black, Cranberry Crisp (for sponging)
Stamps: Porch with pumpkins by Serendipity.
Embellishments: Clear Rhinestones, Gold ribbon.
Accessories: Sewing machine, brown thread, 3D foam by EK-Success, Diamond Glaze, Watercolor Pencils, Watercolor crayons, Markers.
October:
For this card I followed Debbie Olson's tutorial from The CLASSroom, this card is really pretty IRL. I used scraps from other projects, I always keep the paper because is so pretty to throw it away, LOL. So when I saw Debbie's tutorial I decided to give it a try and I love it.
The papers I used are Christmas Ornaments (I used both sides of this paper), Harvest Stripe (the scraps from my previous card) both paper are from Best Creations Inc.
The image is from Serendipity Illustrated Months.
Each square is 1 3/8".
Card Recipe:
Card stock: Bravo burgundy, White.
Paper: Christmas Ornaments and Harvest Stripe by Best Creations Inc.
Ink: Black.
Stamps: Illustrated Months by Serendipity
Embellishments: Christmas gold ribbon from Walmart, brown button,.
Accessories: Sewing machine, white thread, gold stickles, 3D foam by EK-Success, Watercolor pencils.
I hope you like them.
God bless
