Thinking of you

Hello friends!! How are you? Hope you all are having a great day! I don't know if you have noticed, but lately I have been creating non-stitched projects, oh no!! My sewing needle broke and I can't find not 1 but 2 packages of needles I bought last month!! I've been looking for them everywhere and nothing, so for now no stitches, I need to buy more needles ;)

Anyway, I made this card for Latina Crafter's challenge. Yes, Latina Crafter has a monthly challenge with a sketch + inspiration (you don't have to use LC stamps to participate), for my project I used the inspiration, especially the pretty summer colors for my card.

Here are the details:

• Make card base from White cardstock. A2 size.
• Cut a panel from Blue raspberry cardstock. 5" x 3.75"
• Cut a panel from Patterned Paper (here I used Splendid Sunshine by EPP)
• Cut a panel from White cardstock. 4.5" x 3.25" and stamp images, the flowers and leaves are from "Solo porque" set , and the sentiment is from "Todo estará bien" set. Flowers were stamped in Radiant Neon Inks: Electric Blue, Electric Orange, Electric Pink, Electric Coral. The leaves were stamped in Peeled Paint Distress Ink.
• Stamp sentiment in Spiced Chai StazOn Midi Ink.
• Add a strip of Patterned Paper from Splendid Sunshine Collection.
• Mat all panels together. Add panels to card base with dimensionals.
• Add Ruby Sequins to cards.

The sentiment says: Thinking of you.

Hello friends! Happy Wednesday, today I have a very flowery card for you using Top Dog Dies. I got inspired by the new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge theme "Birthday Bash"

Here are the details:

• Make card base from White Cardstock. A2 size.
• Cut a panel from  pink textured cardstock. 3.75" x 5", add a strip of strawberry cardstock to the left side.
• Die-cut doily from Top Dog Dies Cherish Doilies and Tag set in white cardstock, leave the little die-cut pieces in. Cut the left side.
• Die-cut flowers from Top Dog Dies Pretty Petals Set in Strawberry, Sno Cone, Raspberry and Melon cardstock colors.
• Add flowers to doily piece, add pearls.
• Die-cut the hashtag piece from Top Dog Dies Camera Finishers Set and stamp sentiment. Attach red twine.
• Finally, hand draw a border with a fine black marker.

Happily ever after

Hi friends! Happy Monday to you all. Summer is here and also wedding days!! Although I don't have any wedding celebration coming soon, I have a wedding card for you using Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

This card is super simple, I started stamping the Delightfully Delicate Background on a piece of white cardstock in Versamark ink, then added white embossing powder and heat set. After that I sponged the piece with Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress inks. Then I stamped the sentiment from Prim Blessings Set in Jet Archival Ink.
Die-cut a stitched label, stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers, I used TN1, TN2, TN3, DR3, FS3, BT1, BT2.
Added the label to card with dimensionals. Finally, I added ribbon and pearls.

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps June Release.

Welcome to Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps June 2014 Release.  We have a small release to share with you today…just two stamps and a die set, but what fabulous and versatile stamp sets they are.  The DT has been having a lot of fun with these sets as you will see as you hop along to each of their blogs.

You'll love playing with these fun images and combining the 14 different sentiments to make your card say just the right thing!  The best part is the die set includes a die for each of the arrow images making it a snap to add an arrow to any card creation!

This is the card I created with this set. I started with a stencil and sponging around neon inks, I am not a neon person, but the effect was pretty cool!! Then I stamped the arrow around, added the sentiment in Coffee Archival and stamped the dotted arrow in Kraft cardstock and cut out. As a final touch I added a wood veneer arrow.

This is the card I have for you using this set, to be honest the colors are not as bright as IRL. Pretty easy card, just stamped the sentiment and die-cut the balloon, added stitches and ribbon and voila!!

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps June Release.

Gather the Rose of Love

Hello friends! Happy Thursday to you all! Today I want to show a card using Crafter Companion's stamps and Spectrum Noir Markers and Pencils! I really love this image, I wanted to create a simple card and really pop the image.

Here are the details:

• Make a card base from red cardstock.
• Cut a panel from Pink cardstock and die-cut the bottom edge.
• Stamp image from Stamp It Discovery - Rose Clock set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Ultra Smooth Premium White  Cardstock.
• Color image with Spectrum Noir Markers and Pencils, blended the pencils with Blending Solution and Paper Stumps. here is the list of the ones I used.
• Roses: CR9, DR3, DR5, Blender + 026, 033
• Leaves: CG1, CG2 + 044, 047
• Clock: TN1, TN2, TN3, TN4 + 008
• Die-cut bottom edge of panel.
• Add Crystal Lacquer to roses.
• Add pearls.

Hello friends!! Happy Wednesday to you all. Today I am sharing with you a cute card with a little bit of Mixed media.  All dies used are from Top Dog Dies.

Here are the details:

• Create a card base from White cardstock. 5.5 " square.
• Cut a piece of blue raspberry cardstock 5" square. Mist piece with Taxi spray, after dries, mix embossing paste and a little bit of tax spray, then using a Rays stencil apply embossing paste. Set aside to dry.
• Die-cut Top Dog Dies Pretty Petals Die in light blue and white cardstock. Paint some of the white flowers with Copper Metallic Paint.
• Die-cut Top Dog Dies Alexa Frame Set Dies in white cardstock, spray it with Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Perls. 
• Die-cut Top Dog Dies Berry Branch Dies in white cardstock and paint them with Moss Metallic Paint.
• Die-cut label from Top Dog Dies Nameplates Die in Sno Cone Cardstock. Stamp sentiment in Jet Black Archival Ink.
• Add pieces to card front. 
• Add sparkle pearls to flower center. Add gold sequins.

Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop : Missing you

Hello friends!! Welcome to another Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop, today the DT Alumni is bringing you new projects for you to enjoy.
I have a very clean and elegant card for you, sentimental at the same time.I used World Map PreCut Set and the sentiment is from Classic Messages PreCut Set.  I colored Peru in red (my family lives there), missing them and hope to see them soon.

Here are the details:

• Make card base from Light Blue Textured cardstock. 5"x 6".
• Stamp background image on a piece of watercolor paper in VersaMark watermark ink, add white embossing powder and heat set.
• Apply, starting from top, Tumbled Glass Distress, Broken China Distress, Coastal Cabana (Stampin' Up) and Faded Jeans Distress Ink.
• Mat this piece with a slighter bigger piece of White cardstock.
• Add panel to card base with foam adhesive.
• Stamp sentiment on white cardstock in Jet Black Archival ink.
• Die-cut and emboss piece with Fancy Tags 2 Shapeabilities dies, add it to card front.
• Color Peru in red, then add a wood veneer and add 3D Crystal Lacquer to the heart.
• Color pearls with marker and add them to card.

Latina Crafter Tercer Aniversario Blog Hop!!!

Hello friends!! Hope you all are having a great day. I am planning yard and garden work, then I will relax, I may ending up like this cute ducky in a basket, LOL. I, honestly, have not done much this week, I have the it off from work and I have spent way too much time watching soccer. {I love soccer}

Ok, back to the project. This is a scene I created using the Popcorn the Bear - Father's Day set from Crafter's Companion USA. All the images are singles in this set, duck, grass, flowers, I think the result is pretty cute.

Here are the details:

• Stamp images on a piece of Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
• Color image with Spectrum Noir Markers and Blendable Pencils, start with markers and then add pencils, blend them with Spectrum Noir Blending Solution and  Spectrum Noir Paper Stumps :
• Grass: LG1, LG2, LG3, DG2, DG3 - 046, 047
• Basket: TN2, TN3, TN4 - 090
• Duck: LY1, LY3, CT1, OR1, OR2 -015
• Flower: CR3, CR5, CR7 - 022, 035
• Die-cut or cut a cloud and use it to sponge the background using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
• Mat piece to a slightly bigger red piece and add stitches.
• Die-cut 2 more clouds, emboss a couple of them with  Petite Dot Embossalicious Embossing Folder. 
• Stamp sentiment in StazOn Midi Ink Pad - Spiced Chai, ink all edges of bubble speech.
• Add clouds and bubble speech to card panel with circle foam adhesive.
• Add card panel to yellow card base with large circle foam adhesive

Relax

Wishing you a lovely day

Hello friends! I hope you all are having a lovely day. I have been feeling a little bit under the weather, I don't know if I am getting a cold or is the crazy weather we are having, oh well, today is a new day and I hope it's a great one for all of you.

Today, I want to share with you a cute pocket card. This is perfect for albums too!! All the dies used are from Top Dog Dies.

Here are the details:

• Die-cut the Album Pocket Die using Patterned Paper (October Afternoon), die-cut the tag from White Cardstock.
• Adhere adhesive to pocket sides. Add a strip of Light blue textured cardstock and tie yellow satin ribbon around.
• TAG: Mist Taxi and Espresso Green mists to tag, set aside to dry.
• Die-cut Top Dog Dies Berry Branch in green, Pretty Petals in light blue and Decorative corner die in bright yellow cardstock.
• Add a little bit of shadow to center flowers with a blue marker. Add pieces to tag.
• Add pearl to flower.
• Stamp sentiment in Jet Black Archival Ink from Sunshine & Flowers set.
• Add Wink of Stella pen to flower petals and branch. (I wish the picture could show how shimmery they are)

PS: If you are a prayer person, please pray for the people in Nebraska, all those affected for the tornadoes. Also, yesterday a town close to me got on fire, so far more than 10,000 acres burned, nobody got affected, so far the fire is 15% containment.

Bridal Shower cards

Hello friends!! Hope you are having a fantastic day! I don't know if you like soccer, but I am a BIG FAN!! I love soccer since I remember, always watching it with my dad and brother, good memories, now the Brazil World Cup is here and I've been watching all the soccer games, crazy I know!

Anyway, talking about something else, I want to show you a couple of Bridal Cards I made, these were a special request and I love how they turned out.
I used a digital image from digistamps4joy, this one is called "To have and to hold". The images were colored with Spectrum Noir Markers. The sentiments were computer generated.
All dies used are from Spellbinders.

Hello friends! Happy Monday to you all! Today, I am sharing with you a card I created for Latina Crafter. Every month Latina Crafter has a sketch for you to play along, this month we have added a twist, you can use the picture as an inspiration.

This is the sketch + inspirations picture:

And this is my interpretation. I stamped the tipi from the Tribal set in Jet Black Archival ink, then die-cut, embossed and stenciled the image. Follow the sketch, added stitches, peridot and turquoise sequins and a couple of wood veneers arrows. Finally added a bow.

For you Tag

Hello friends!! Hope you are having a great Thursday. I have a simple and easy tutorial for you. I used this beautiful image from Poppies and Daisies from Crafter's Companion.

I created this tag for Crafter's Companion June Challenge, this month the challenge is "Tag, Bags and Boxes"

Here are the details:

• Star choosing a tag, page or canvas, here I used a chipboard tag.
• Apply a couple of layers of gesso, after it dries, apply a coat of white paint. Let it dry.

• Stamp image from Poppies and Daisies set in StazOn Midi Ink Pad _Jet Black.

• Super nice and crispy stamp ;)

• Using a stencil and gold paint, apply it to side of tag.

• Color image with Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils, here I used:  013, 024, 025, 026, 046, 065 and blend the colors with just a fine brush and water.

• Add some yellow spray mist.

• Add StazOn Midi Ink Pad - Cactus Green to all edges.

Here is the tag, ready to be used, as a final touch I added a scrap piece of ribbon I had on my basket.
