Top Dog Dies See the beauty in life + Picture Tutorial.

Hello friends!! Top Dog Dies has a new release this coming April 5th! and the new dies are amazing, you can see them all HERE. The DT is showcasing all these new dies, so visit their blogs to see amazing (believe me, I have seen them) projects!

So, today I have a really cute butterfly card, and it was in so much crafty mood that I made a picture tutorial for YOU!!

Here are the steps:



 

1.- Die-cut Top Dog Dies Butterfly to make the base of you card from Yellow cardstock. Die-cut the butterfly from Top Dog Dies Butterfly Finishers from  Splendor Sunshine Patterned Paper (Echo Park Paper). Die-cut a Top Dog Die Bella Doily Die to use as a stencil, add Embossing paste in opposite corners.

 

 

 

2.- After embossing paste (you can use your heat tool to accelerate the process), spray Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Pearls Mist. 

 

 

3.- Die-cut butterfly wings from Patterned paper using Top Dog Dies Butterfly Finishers, spray Sunflower Sparkle and Melted Chocolate Mists. 

 

 

4.- Using Claret StazOn ink and a sponge, dab color on top of some of the embossed areas. 

 

 

5.- Die-cut butterfly parts from Brown cardstock, adhere them to card. 

 

 

6.- Die-cut a couple of tags from  Top Dog Dies Mini Tags Die Set, stamp sentiment in Claret StazOn ink.

 

 

 

7.- Adhere tags to card using twine. Add a rhinestone under butterfly antenna. 

This is the final look!! I think it turned out really pretty!!

Top Dog Dies See the beauty in life + Picture Tutorial.

Hello friends!! Hope you all are having a fantastic Tuesday. I have to say that I have been/am very busy crafting and working! I am working on several tutorials + creating, creating, creating!! LOL.

Today I want to show you a super fun and easy design I created for my new Z Becky Brown handbag!! I love this White Knight Bag!  Super fresh for the Spring and Summer, don't you think?

I created a little video for you, but I have to say the first picture didn't make it to the video, looks like I thought I took the picture, but I think I didn't. Also, this is my first time creating a video like this, I am in the learning process still, hopefully next time it will be better :)

Anyway, the first step is to take your White Ziva Paper from the Ziva Paper Pack, stamp the doilies from Delightful Doilies Stamp by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps in Versamark Ink, add clear embossing powder and heat set, now you can see the rest on the video. Enjoy!!!

Fresh Green Hand bag

Once in a life time

Hello friends! Today, I have a super quick and easy card for you. I really like this big background image from Stamp-It Australia Dreamer "Once in a Lifetime", few stitches and an embossed background and your card is done.

Here are the details:

• Make card base from Ivory Cardstock. Card size is 5" (top) x 5.5"
• Emboss front of card with Splendour Embossing folder.
• Stamp image on Ivory cardstock in Black ink.
• Mat image with Red Cardstock, add stitches. Spray image with Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Spritz.
• Add piece to card front, add little pearls and bow.

Once in a life time

Hello friends! Happy Wednesday to all of you. I have a fun card for you today, using a die-cut as a stencil and some other fun accessories, all dies are from Top Dog Dies.

Here are the details:

• Die-cut a Top Dog Die Bella Doily die. Set aside to use as a stencil.
• Then, make a sandwich with your cardstock, rubber mat and die and embossed a piece of Ivory Cardstock. After that, use the stencil to cover the embossed area, then spray the piece of cardstock with Sangria and Sunflower Sparkle mists. Set aside to dry.
• After the piece is dried, used your stencil, position it over the embossed area and add embossing paste, set aside to dry.
• Die-cut a Top Dog Die Wildflower, paint piece with Carmine Red Metallic paint and set aside to dry.
• Die-cut a tag from Top Dog Dies Alexa Frames die in Ivory Cardstock. Stamp sentiment from Mini Tags and sentiments set.
• After embossing paste is dried, add clear glitter and heat set.
• Mat the piece with a red piece, add stitches.
• Add Wildflower, tags and pink twine to panel.
• Add piece to card with dimensionals.

• Add them to image with dimensionals, add pearls.
• Stamp sentiment from set on White cardstock in Coffee Archival ink, die-cut image.
• Add a strip of patterned paper and light green tape lace.
• Add sentiment to card using dimensionals.

Heartfelt Creations (Alumni DT) March Blog Hop.

Happy birthday card + Picture Tutorial

Hello friends!! Hope you are having a great Monday! Today, I want to share a card I made for my daughter's birthday, she is 10 now!!  She is still extremely excited about being 10, looks like 2 -digit age is a big deal, LOL.


So, here are the details  for this project:

• Start with a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor paper (4.5" x 4.5"), mount a stencil "Mini Fish Scales". I added few pieces of washi tape to avoid moving my piece.

 

• Apply Versamark Watermark ink to watercolor paper.

 

• Remove stencil, add White Embossing powder and heat set.



 

 

• Add color by sponging piece with Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Mustard Seed Distress Inks.

 

• Your piece will look like this :)

 

• Using a Mini Mister, mist your piece with water to give it a more watercolor look. 

 

 

• Then, mist your piece with Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Pearls Mists.

 

 

• Using the stencil, use the small flower and stencil it on the panel with Barn Door Distress ink. I used Melted Chocolate spray and added a bit to the corner of panel.

 

• I used a Petaloo fabric flower and added a drop of  Faded Jeans reinker, then spray the piece with Sunflower Sparkle and Sangria mists, added copper shimmer twine. I stamped the sentiment on a white piece of white cardstock and voila!!

Happy birthday card + Picture Tutorial

Hello friends! Happy Friday to you! Today, I have a very cute card using a very sweet image from Crafter's Companion USA, this one is Phoebe from the Angelica and Friends Collection. The image was colored with Spectrum Noir markers.

Here are the details:

• Make card base from Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock. 5" square card.
• Mat a piece of Green cardstock with Patterned Paper, this paper is from Splendid Sunshine by Echo Park Paper, add stitches. 4.5" Square piece.
• Stamp Phoebe image on a piece of  Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Color image with Spectrum Noir Markers:
• Dress and shoes: CG1, CG2, CG3, DG1
• Skin: FS2, FS7, Blender
• Hair: TN2, TN4,TN7
• Feathers and Shoe bow: CR3, CR4
• Die-cut image, mat it with a piece of Green cardstock and add stitches.
• Add panels to card base with dimensionals.
• Die-cut a tag, stamp sentiment in Olive Archival Ink. Add tag to card.
• Die-cut a wildflower, cut leaves, add a little bit of Metallic green  paint, add them to card.
• Create a bow from Pink twine, add paper flower.
• Finally, add Crystal Stickles to necklace, head band and bows from shoes.

Hello friends! I am posting a little late, well a lot later than usual, I had a super busy day today and I was thinking to post earlier, but the day came too short for me to do everything I wanted, oh just one of those days, so before going to bed I want to share with you this super cute card I made with stamps from Latina Crafter.

The image is from  Garden Fairy and the sentiment is from Mi flor favorite set.

The image was colored with Inktense Pencils. I die-cut the red flower and leaves from felt and then added paper flowers.  A little wood veneers was added to the corner and it's from the  Banners and geotags collection.

The sentiment says "Friend" referring to a female.

I used the sketch from March Sketch Challenge over and Latina Crafter and the theme from Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Mother's Day or Special girl

What a blessing!

Hello friends!! Happy Monday to all of you. Today, I have a simple card, I used my Inktense pencils to color the image, I was in the watercoloring mood, LOL and I really love how the image turned out.

Here are the details:

• Make card base from White Cardstock. A2 size.
• Cut a piece of White Cardstock (5" x 3.75"), stamp Leafy Flourish Background image in Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Inks.
• Stamp sentiment in Jet Black Archival Ink.
• Stamp image from Flower Blocks 3 on watercolor paper in Jet Black Archival Ink, color image with pencils (I used Inktense pencils).
• Cut image, ink all edges with Mustard Seed Distres Ink. Add image to panel with dimensionals.
• Tie twine to panel, add rhinestones.
• Add Crystal lacquer and clear glitter to flower.

What a blessing!

Hello friends! Happy Friday! Today I have a super cute card using this new image from Humphrey Collection from Crafter's Companion USA.
The image was colored with Spectrum Noir markers, added few sequins and card was ready!! I have to confess that the color combo was an idea of the little girl I babysit, she pretty much directed me on the colors she wanted me to use, you can see that the legs are pretty much leggings and the socks are the skin ;) Either way, she was very happy with the result and me too!!

Here are the details:

• Make card base from White cardstock. A2 size.
• Mat a piece of Cardstock and Patterned Paper(from Splendid ), add stitches.
• Stamp image on Ultra Smooth Premium Cardstock, color image with Spectrum Noir Markers, here is the list of markers I used:
•  Elephant: IG1, IG2, IG3
•  Dress: LV1, LV2, LV3
•  Wings and Legs: PP1, PP2
•  Wand: GB1, GB37
•  Shoes, Tiara: DR2, DR4, DR67
•  Confetti, Ribbon, Head flower: GB3
• Cut image and mat it with red cardstock, add stitches.
• Stamp sentiment on white cardstock, color piece with Mustard Seed Ink. Die-cut piece with a star die.
• Add twine and paper flower.
• Add sequins.
• Finally cover star from wand, confetti and crown with 3D Crystal Lacquer, add clear glitter. Set aside to dry.

• Embellishments: Twine, Sequins, Paper flower.
• Accessories: Star Die (Sweet 'n Sassy), 3D Crystal Lacquer, Clear Glitter, Sewing machine, Dimensionals.

Hello there!! Glad to have you here. Today I am sharing with you a card with no stamping at all using more new dies from Top Dog Dies! What?!  I found this card super easy to make and fascinating how some stickers can change the look of you project. I have more of the "Splendid Sunshine Collection" from Echo Park Paper left over and I am loving it!! {wink, wink}.

Here are the details:

• Make card base from White Cardstock. A2 size.
• Cut a piece of Patterned Paper and add it to front of card.
• Add border stickers to the sides.
• Die-cut a couple of butterflies, ink all edges with Vintage Photo. Mount them together, add rhinestones.
• Add "Hello There" Sticker.
• Add more rhinestones.

This is the project I have for you today, I went Clean and Simple with this card.  Super easy!

Here are the details:

• Make card base from White cardstock. A2 size.
• Cut a piece of watercolor 3.75" x 5", watercolor background with Broken China and Peeled Paint Distress Inks, set aside to dry, then spray piece with Chocolate mist.
• Stamp sentiment in Coffee Archival Ink.
• Stamp coffee cup on White Cardstock in Coffee Archival ink, die-cut piece.
• Stamp and die-cut heart, steam and banner, add them to card front with dimensionals.
