Thank you

Hello my friends and Happy Saturday. I hope you all are having a great day as I am! Today, we went out for breakfast in Naches, DH told me it was really good, and yes!! It was really good. They bake lots of goodies and the food is delicious. We left so full we have skipped lunch. Just in case you are in this are, the restaurant's name is "Sticky fingers"
Now, onto my card. I have a double challenge card. I played the CPS Sketch and the Color Combo comes from SPCC: Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede and Bermuda bay. I don't have any Bermuda Bay, so I used Turquoise Rhinestones instead.
The images I used for this card are from a SU set (retired) Vases in Vogue. I stamped the images in White CS, then colored them with Prismacolor Pencils and added a bit of SU Markers. The sentiment was stamped in White Craft Ink.

Card recipe:
Card Stock: White, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede.
Stamps: Vases in Vogue (SU retired)
Ink: Stazon Black, White craft.
Embellishments: Turquoise Rhinestones (Kaisercrafts), Clear Stickles (Rangers), White Satin Ribbon (Offray)
Accessories: Sewing machine, White thread, Rectangle Nestabilities, Sticky Foam, Prismacolor Pencils, SU Markers.

Hope you like it.
Have a great day!

Grateful!

Hello my friends! Today is a very special day for me, it is my Birthday!!!! Yess, I am getting old-er, LOL. I am so grateful to have a great family, great cyber friends and a great Lord who is always blessing me and being with me.
So, in celebration of my special day, I have a very purple-plum card for you. I remember when I was 15, every outfit I bought was purple, even my earrings, (big ones!) LOL, oh those times!!! My card was inspired by this wonderful flower I saw at the Moxie Fab World Blog. When I Lord Have Mercy (last week sketch).
saw it I said, I have to try to make something like this. The sketch comes from To make the flower, just draw circles onto your PP, it doesn't need to be perfect. Tear the circles, then stamp any image you want in coordinated ink, sponged borders and voila!!! I used the small images from Frames set by smARTworks. The sentiment is from SU Small Script (retired)
Card Recipe:
Card Stock: Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, White.
Paper: Hearthrob
Stamps: Frames (smARtworks), Small Scripts (SU)
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Memento Sweet Plum, Plum (Color Box).
Embellishments: Gold Brad, Purely Pomegranate Satin Ribbon (SU), Lavender Rhinestones (Kaiser Crafts), Corner punch (for scallop border).
Accessories: Sewing machine, White thread, Daubers, SU Dimensionals

Hope you like it.
Have a great and blessed day.

Thinking of You

Hello my friends!! Hope you all are doing great. I have a card to show you today!! I am submitting this card in Pals Paper Arts Challenge, this week challenge was to use PINK, in honor of Breast cancer Awareness Month.

The other 2 different pieces of PP are from the same collection. I cut the semi circle, sponged the borders with Dark pink and added some zig zag stitches. The sentiment was stamped in Pink Pirouette CS in Ginger Adirondack Ink.
My base card is Good as Gold Pure Luxury CS from Gina K and Pink Pirouette. Finally I added some White Satin Ribbon and some Gold Rhinestones.

Give Thanks.

Hello my friends. Hope you are having a great day. I have a Pumpkin card I made last few weeks ago and never posted here. I haven't stamped in a week {insert sad face}, I have injured my back, I lifted up very heavy weight ( just moving tools in the garage) I didn't think those tools were so heavy. So, I have done pretty much nothing, DH was a big helper as well as my DD. Today, I have stamped for a short time, just finishing some deadline projects and now I want to share this Pumpkin card with you.
I got the instructions and patterns from A year in Cards-September 2009 by Kristina Werner. I stamped the sentiment using SU In the Loop Alphabet (retired).

I hope you like it.
Have a great day!

Thanks so much to all of you who have sent Cards for Bekah. She loves all the cards!! I will post the Candy Prize picture tomorrow.

Cracked Glass

Hello my friends, I hope you are having a great day. I have a Fall card for you today and I used a technique I've never tried before. This is Cracked Glass, I saw the tutorial on Stamp TV and I decided to give it a try. For my card I used an image from SU Give thanks set, colored it with Prismacolor Pencils, after that I cut it out using a Coluzzle Cutting Set. I don't have any UTEE, so I used regular Clear embossing powder (6 times). Also I used the Sketch for this week challenge from Card Patterns.

Card recipe:
Card Stock: Brown, Dusty Durango, White.
Paper: SEI.
Stamps: Give Thanks (SU)
Ink: Black, Basic Brown, Prismacolor Pencils.
Embellishments: Brads, Orange Satin Ribbon (Offray).
Accessories: Sewing machine, thread, Clear embossing powder, Embossing gun, scallop scissors, SU Dimensionals.

Joy!!

Hello my friends and Happy Saturday. I have a quick card for you today. We are getting ready to go to the Theatre to watch GI-Force, I hope it is a good movie. Well, yesterday I made a card for SPCC color combo challenge and since then I've been thinking about how pretty this color combo is, so I decided to make another card. I tried a polka dot technique using a "eraser" from a pencil, super easy!! Using a lavender ink I started creating the dots on my White CS. I cut the flower using my Cricut machine. I sponged the border with a little bit of brown and orange Ink. Lots of Gold glitter were added on the Pumpkin Pie CS. I added some stitches on the White CS , also distressed the borders.
Card Recipe:
Card Stock: White, Pale Plum, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie.
Stamps: Small Scripts (SU)
Ink: Lavender, Stazon Black, Orange, Basic Brown.
Accessories: Sewing machine, thread, Gold Stickles, Diamond Stickles, 3D-foam, eraser (from a pencil), Cricut
.

Hope you like it.
Have a great and blessed day.

What a KRAFT-y day!!

Hello everyone, today I played a lot with Kraft CS and I want so happy how my cards turned out. First, I want to thank all of you ladies that sent well wishes to my Becca. She was very happy to hear from you. Second, she is doing much better!!! Praise the Lord, still coughing, but no more fever and good nights of sleep (happy me). Yesterday, she took a veryyy long nap, almost 4 hours!!! I was concerned about her after 2 1/2 hours, I called her name and she told she wanted to sleep more, oh well I said, maybe 30 more minutes, nope noep nope, I had to go and let her know dinner was almost ready and she needed to get up. Of course after her long nap she didn't want to go to bed at regular time, but 9 pm I put her in bed even though she didn't want to, I think after 2 minutes she was done, LOL. She got up this morning at 7:30!!! this doesn't happen very often, she is up usually at 6:00 am.
Anyway, today was one of those days! I woke up this morning and I found out I forgot to start my dishwasher, then I saw some little things on my pantry floor and I think we have a mouse again!!!! I freaked out, I really hate mouse/mice, they scare me, yes you can laugh. So I checked everywhere and started cleaning my house again (I usually clean house on Mondays), after a while Becca started jumping like crazy so I knew she was feeling muchhhhh better.
Anyway, after all those things I decided I wanted to stamp, but I don't know why I wanted to use Kraft, LOL. I tried a card and I didn't like it, so I cut more and more paper and realized that I needed a plan, so I have tons of scraps on my desk looking at me telling they need to be use to.

Here are my cards:

Each day provides its own gifts: Very simple card, I stamped the image twice onto my Kraft CS using Basic Brown Ink. The sentiment was stamped in Riding Hood Red. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to have a great position of image and sentiment. The bottom border was made with corner punch and a 1/16 hole punch. The image was colored with colored pencils and markers, then I added a little bit of Stickles.
