Happy Birthday

Hello again my friends. I have a Birthday card for you today. I got inspired by a baby horse who was born today. It's not my horse, it is my neighbors' and it is super cute, in fact they have 2 baby horses and 1 mama is due in a week, so more babies around here. :) Today, DD and I went to visit the horses. They were so calm and relax, the only one excited was the dog, I think he stopped barking because he got tired of it, LOL.

Anyway, for my card I used the colors from Lee's Color Challenge: Turquoise Sea, Lemon Drop and a Neutral (challenge at Stamp TV) and the sketch comes from 2S4U . Also submitting this for "Stitching Challenge" at Lucy's Cards Blog.
The lace on my card is made by me, I added some turquoise satin ribbon and the Prima flowers match the Lemon Drop CS perfectly.
The stamp set I used is "Inside & Out" from Gina K.

Card recipe:
Card Stock: Textured Turquoise (DCWV), Lemon Drop (Gina K), White (Gina K)
Paper: Out & About Collection (My Mind's Eye)

Challenge cards! and a serious conversation.

Hello my friends and happy Saturday! Today it was a busy day, but great at the same time. My daughter had a soccer game this afternoon and she and her team had a great game (even though her team didn't win). The funny thing is I was sitting on the ground cheering up the team and a little boy was talking to me. He told me he liked his team and his school teacher
So, our conversation went like this:

Me: So, what's your teacher name?
Dylan: Teacher.
Me: Ok,... she must have a name, right?
Dylan: Shis name is teacher of the kids! (He said Shis, :)
Me: Great! You must love her a lot.
Dylan: My teacher is good :)

I smiled, looked at him and said, you are funny. He saw me taking pictures, so he wanted a picture too and I did. Then, he told he wanted to go into the field and play because Rebecca was there, PLOP! I think he didn't know Becca's is my daughter. He whispered to me and said, She is nice!! After the game, we had a potluck and he just wanted to be with Becca, he sat next to her and played to her in the playground, even when he left, he told Becca, "I am leaving, Bye Becca" I was surprised!! Aren't kids sweet, well, it's sweet now they are little, LOL.

Becca and Dylan eating together :)

Anyway, I have 2 cards for you today.

I added some of the flowers and leaves for a 3D look, after that I added some Diamond Glaze. The image was cut, embossed and sponged using Circle Nestabilities.
I based my card on the Mojo Monday Sketch.

And finally, I want to wish my beautiful niece Johanna a Happy Birthday! She is turning 17 today! WOW, I can't believe it. It looks like yesterday when she was born, sadly the same day my uncle passed away. It is amazing how dead also bring life.
I love my niece very much and I miss her a lot!! She is very funny, sweet and the most honest person. Anytime I talk to her, we laugh a lot!! Happy Birthday Johy!! Wishing you the best!

I love you - Forever.

Hello my friends!! I missed you all. I have been busy as always. Today I wanted to stamp since I woke up, but I had to finish school with DD, even though the lesson was not too long, it took us forever!!, then the window guy came to fix our window and more time to wait, wait and wait. The good thing after all the waiting is I got a roll of nice thick adhesive, LOL, I looked at the adhesive the "window guy" was using, I picked up and gave it another look, I think he noticed I was inspecting the tape so much, he told me, you can keep it, LOL!!

Anyway, I have a couple of Valentine cards for you my friends. First I have to say I am using the Colors from Embellish Blog Challenge. Second, I have to say Do I need glasses? Seriously, I played this challenge twice, I read the whole info like thousand of times and I forgot the "Hearts"!!!, So sorry Ashley, English may not be my first language, but I knew the challenge needed hearts, I hope you like them anyways.
