Thank You! Gina K. Blog Hop.

Hello dear stamper friends! I hope you are enjoying your (close to) summer time, here we just started having some nice temperatures and it feels great and I am enjoying  working on my garden and spending some time outside, but since last weekend I am having really bad allergy attacks, yikes! I don't like it at all.

Anyway, it's time again for Gina K. fun blog hop (and search for the next Guess designer, yay!), this time the theme is Fun Summer Memories! I have so many, but I want to share with you this one I love!! When I was a kid, my favorite day was Sunday because we had to go to my Grandparents house and enjoy family time. I come from a very large family, so it was always great to see all (a lot) of my cousins and play outside until we couldn't walk anymore, LOL. Also my grandma used to make the most and my favorite ever dessert!! I used to call her Saturday night and asked her if she would make it for next day (I love this) and I always heard a YES! After enjoying dessert, I remember running to the kitchen and give my grandma and big hug and say Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! She always put her arms around me and gave a nice and sweet kiss. Oh how I miss those days :) I miss her a lot, she was like my second mom after my mom passed.

Anyway, this is my card, it is simple, but it means a lot to me!!

Card recipe:
Card stock: Bubblegum Pink, White Layering (Gina K. Designs)
Stamps: Botanicals.
Ink: Pretty in Pink (SU), Brilliance Pearlescent Poppy (Tsukineko), Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Antique Linen DIstress (Ranger)
Embellishments: Pink Satin Ribbon (Offray), Dark Pink Rhinestones (Kaiser Crafts).
Accessories: Label 8 Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Foam Tape, Daubers, Mini glue dots.

Hope you like it!!
I will bring more memories of my childhood later :)

Have a great day!

Favorite Movie: Inspired by UP!

Hello my friends, Hope you are having a wonderful day. Gina K is looking for a new Guest designer, and this month's challenge is to create a card inspired by a movie. Well, lately the only movies I watch are Kids movies, my daughter is a movie fan, and she watches a movie and memorizes it. One of the latest movies we've been watching (more than 50 times) is UP! We love the whole movie especially when the  Carl and Ellie (when they are kids) are talking about Paradise Falls and she says it is in "South America, it's like America, but South" I think that is my favorite line  :) maybe because I am from South America, sadly I've never been in Venezuela.

Anyway, I got this movie as my inspiration and I used Rupa's new set "Welcome Home"
Details: I started my card with a piece of Little Boy Blue. Then I took a piece of White and I started creating the background. I cut some clouds shapes and adhere them to my CS with temporary adhesive, I used Aspen mist Chalk Ink for the clouds, I played with the same clouds in different directions and and between clouds to give it a much more natural look. Then I cut a circle in lemon Drop CS and added some Lemon Drop glitter. I stamped the house and the dog in Ivory CS in Memento Rich Cocoa, colored them with Prismacolor Pencils and blended with OMS. I cut some oval shapes using Basic Grey Paper to create the grass and added some straight stitches. The balloons are dew drops in different colors. I matted this with a piece of Lipstick Red CS

I have to confess I had a lot of fun creating this card!!

Card Recipe:
Card Stock: Little Blue Boy, White, Lipstick Red. (Gina K. Designs)
Paper: Grow (BasicGrey)
Stamps: Welcome Home (Gina K.)
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Real Red (SU), Aspen Mist Chalk (Versa Magic)
Embellishments: Jute Twine, Dew drops, Flower rhinestones (Hero Arts), Lemon Drop Glitter (Martha Stewart)
Accessories: Sewing machine, white thread, Diamond Glaze, DMC floss, Foam tape, Scor-tape, Circle Nestabilities, daubers, Prismacolor Pencils, OMS.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hope you like my card.

PS: I am submitting this card in the "Make a scene challenge" at TSG Blog
