Altered Journal

Hello friends!!  Today I have for you an altered journal, I bought this little one at the craft store, the cover was really plain, so I decided to add some color, hope you like it.

Directions:
  • Cover journal front with Gesso and let dry.
  • After that, spray mists randomly.
  • Die-cut a Decorative Lace from Vellum, spray it with Candy Apple Red color, then add Gold 3D Paint. Set aside to dry.
  • Create a stencil with a Decorative Lace Border, and stencil front and back of journal in gold paint.
  • Add Decorative Border to journal with Zip Dry Glue.
  • Stamp Dahlia Cluster on a piece of Patterned Paper in Versamark Ink, add White embossing powder and heat set., cut them out and sponge all edges. Create 3 D flowers with foam tape.
  • Stamp leaves on White CS in memento Tuxedo Black, Color them with Copic Markers, then ink all edges with Moss Green Paint.
  • Add leaves and flowers to front.
