Christmas cards!

Hello my crafty friends! Hope you are having a happy Saturday! Here is gray, rainy and feels like Fall! Love it! For today I have a couple of cards I created for Heartfelt Creations and I couldn't post earlier due to my back problems and also my family and I went camping. Yeap! I have to confess I am not a camping girl, for me camping is going to a cabin and have all the commodities you need, but this time we did the real camping deal, LOL and I really enjoyed it, my back on the other hand didn't like it much, but my husband and daughter were really happy and it was nice to have a couple of days without TV or Internet.

Visiting Johnston Ridge Observatory

MT. St. Helens.

Anyway, I have a couple of cards for you today.

Red Snowflake

For this card I used Snowflake Medallions Set, the background was stamped using Elegant Holly Swirls Set, the snowflakes were die-cut with Holly-Ornament Die-cut.

Directions:
  1. Make card from cardstock.
  2. In a smaller piece of white cardstock, stamp images from HCPC 3339 Elegant Holly Swirls to create a background. Mat it with a red piece of cardstock. Tie ribbon. Adhere to card.
  3. Stamp  snowflake image from HCPC 3335 Elegant Snowflake Medallion in Versamark Ink. Add red embossing powder and heat emboss. Using HCD 705 Holly Ornaments Die cuts die-cut snowflakes. Create snowflake medallion with the 12 snowflake pieces.
  4. Adhere it to a die-cut red circle piece. Add gold rhinestones in the center.
  5. Create a frame using Label 3 and Circle Nestabilities.
  6. Adhere frame to card with foam tape.

  4. Hey Girl - Sorry to hear your back is still hurting, I feel for you and know just how awful back pain can be! Ouch!!

My camping days are LONG over and my idea of going away is a nice hotel on a lovely warm beach -- hopefully with with room service too! :)

Hope you'll improve more each day and have more time for crafting!

    Take care and be well!!!
