Happy Birthday my friend!!

Hello everyone, it is time for another smARTworks Tea Party. Last week Dina challenged us to go Sketch this week and here is my creation. Tomorrow is my neighbor's little girl birthday, so this card is for Bekah!! She is having a week without technology, LOL, so I am pretty sure she will no see this card until Saturday (Pool Birthday Party!!)
I started this card with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece CS. I scored it at 4 1/2" and 9", then folded. The small piece 2" was cut using Coluzzle, I added in this part a small piece of DP and then cut the border of the White Cs with Scallop scissors. I used 2 sets Fresh Picked and Combo Sentiments. I flipped the sketch and stamped the image twice onto White CS, one was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and cut out. Inside the card says "Happy Birthday" The card closes with a little piece of Velcro.

Inside :
Card Recipe:
Card Stock: White, Tangerine Tango.
Paper: Out & About (My Mind's Eye)
Ink: Stazon Black, Pistachio, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Real Red.
Embellishments: White Ribbon, Felt Flower, Gold Stickles.
Accessories: Sewing machine, thread, Scallop scissors, Velcro, SU Dimensionals, stamp-a-ma-jig.

Now head over to Susan (for Peggy and Sarah too), Dina, Donna, Donelda and Trish and enjoy their creations too.

Baby Boy card.

I am still in a baby mood card. I had this image already colored and I thought it could be perfect for another baby card. This is a very simple and cute card with a little vintage touch. Few days ago, while staying with my in-laws I asked my MIL if she had any vintage buttons and she said yes!! So she brought to me 3 huge containers full with buttons, I was in Button Heaven !! LOL. I picked few of them, she told me any time I need more, I can check back again :) Anyway, I picked the most cute shell and bone buttons. They are antique ones!! they belonged to her mother and maybe her grandmother too. My in-laws are Indian descent, so shell and bone buttons are often use in their Indian customs. Today on my card I am using these 2 unique shell baby buttons!! I wish you could see how sparkle and shiny they are.

OK, into my card, the image was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and blended with OMS. I sponged the borders of the card base with White Craft Ink.

Card Recipe:
Card Stock: Kraft, White, Light Blue.
Stamps: Noah's Ark (smARTworks)
Ink: Black, White Pigment.
Embellishments: Martha Stewart Ribbon, Vintage buttons.
Accessories: Zig zag scissors, 3D foam (EK-Success), Prismacolor Pencils, OMS, Mini glue dots.

I hope you like it.
Have a great day!!
PS: I am so tired!! LOL. I'll be back tomorrow with another project for you.

I am back home!!

Hello my friends and happy Monday! After a long week out of town I am back home. I haven't stamped in a week!!! and I feel I need to, LOL. We enjoyed having time with the family in the other side of the mountains. DD enjoyed that a lot, playing her cousins (14 and 18), chasing the cat and dog, going to the park, jumping everywhere, LOL, you get the picture. We attended Jessi's High School Graduation Ceremony and Mandy's Last Concert of the year. We also were there for Grandma's Birthday Party. As you can see it was a great time there. I will post some pictures later. I've done some laundry, but still a lot of things to do, like set up a pool in the backyard, honestly, I don't know if I can do it by myself. In addition of that, I got 2 huge bruises, one moving the trampoline and the other with the door nob, silly me, my leg and arm are green and purple. Oh well.
I will come back later with a project for you!!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Have a great and blessed day.

Follow your bliss

Happy Saturday everyone. I hope you are having a great day. Today I want to show a card I made for Rasberry Suite Color Challenge" . For this card I used "Bliss" set again, I think this butterfly is wonderful is you want to give more dimension to your card.

I started with Kraft CS for my case card. The papers I chose are perfect because they both have the Bright Pink and Chocolate color assigned for this challenge. The square base for the butterfly is Natural. I sponged and zig zag stitched the panels. Then I stamped the sentiment using White Pigment and White Ep. The big butterfly was stamped in Chocolate Chip and heat embossed with Clear EP, then I addedsome Dazzling Diamond Glitter and heated again gor the shiny look, then the image was cut out. I didn't have any Bright Pink Ribbon, but I have some Sweet Blush Ribbon (PTI) and I used it instead. I added some Bright Pink Rhinestones. I used 3d-foam for more dimension.
I based my card in Heather Scott Sketch
Card Recipe:
Card Stock: Kraft, Naturals (Cream)
