I got up this morning with a really bad ear pain, I don't know why, yesterday I was fine and today I have that and also a throat pain, :( poor me. Double challenge: Sketch and Paper Piecing

Hi everyone, thanks for visiting me, I noticed that my counter passed the 8,000 visitors, WOWWW, thanks a lot!!!!
I want to share few cards I just made. This card is a double challenge card. Heather from Oz-somestamps has a sketch challenge every week and Mother and Daughters Creations has another great challenge this week using Outlines Stamps or Paper Piecing. I don't own any Outlines stamps so I created a paper piecing card. I just used my new Stamp Set that arrived today, did you know I won the Ambassador Challenge on the MFT forum??? Well, yessss, today my stamps arrived, I chose "You take the cake " set, beautiful and wonderful set.

Anyway, back to my card, very simple and elegant. I stamped the lady onto BasicGrey DP for the dress and for the cake I used Lasting Impression DP. I used Provo Craft mini scallop scissors for the purely pomegranate CS.
Card Recipe:
Card stock: White, Purely pomegranate, pink (inside)
Paper: BasicGrey "Infuse", Lasting Impression.
Stamp: You take the cake MFT.
Ink: Black versamak, Plum, Cranberry Crisp.
Embellishments: Satin Ribbon Purely Pomegranate, Gold mini rhinestones, Liquid Applique.
Accessories: Provo Craft scissors, Diamond Glaze.

I hope you like it.

Anni-VERVE-sary Sketch Challenges #6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11!!!!

Hi everyone, I spent my day trying to catch up with the Verve's Sketch Challenges. I tried to finish all today, but my DD had a little problem. Lately she has been telling me her eyes and throat are itchy, allergy problems I though, but today her allergies went from bad to worst, my poor little daughter drank orange juice and in 2 minutes her eyes were HUGE!!!, she started crying telling me something was inside, but nothing was inside, after a while trying to calm her down, she started feeling better. Her eyes still bigger than normal, but not to bad, I pray that tomorrow she can have her eyes back to normal, also she has a doctor's app. to see what is going on. Please pray for her.

Back to card business, I made 6 cards today, oh my I spent hours in my studio, DD was with me almost the whole time, she was making cards for daddy (as always, her hero :)

Here are my cards:

AVS06: I am so proud of you

AVS07: Congrats!!!
AVS08: Lovely and proud.
AVS09: ...a Friend is the most PRECIOUS. AVS10: Wishing you Success.

I am alive!!!!

Happy Saturday everyone!!!! I hope you are having a great day. I am sorry I've been MIA, last week we had VBS at church, we had around 60 - 70 kids each day, it was a really blessed time. I was teaching Crafts & Arts, I was amazed with every single kid's imagination. That's why I didn't have much time to stamp, in addition of that I was coming back home very tired, preparing the last minute details for my next day class and going to bed.
Last Tuesday my little daughter had a little accident, my DH was making "Pico de Gallo" and when he was chopping the hot peppers my daughter was carefully observing daddy, suddenly a little bit of hot pepper juice got into her eye, poor little one, she screamed so loud, I didn't know what was going on, I tried to calm her down and picked her up, and then I fell down with her, I protected her, but I scratched my elbow and hurt my knee. Happily she is doing fine now, her eye looks good and she is back talking non-stop everyday, LOL. I had a couple of days with really bad knee pain, but I am feeling good!!!
I made 2 cards for MFT Guest Designer Challenge. I am keeping my fingers crossed, I would love to be pick. The theme for this month was : "SUMMER/HOT" So here is my interpretation of the theme.

After a Hot Day: REEEELAX
