Act 17:27

Hello friends!! Sorry for being MIA. I tried hard to write blog posts in advance but I just have been so very busy.
Anyway, today, I want to share a card I made for Word Art Wednesday Challenge. I am GD there and this is the verse for this week, remember the challenge is "Anything goes", you can grab the Bible verse from the blog challenge or use anything you have.

After the verse got printed, I die-cut it and then stamped a flower on opposite corners in Golden Delicata Ink. The flower is from Altenew.
This time I wanted a color card base and this is gray, the color is beautiful! You can find it at CutCardStock.
For details I added a white doily and a piece of patterned paper and the card was done!!

Hope you like it!
Have an amazing day!

Iris

Hello friends! Happy Monday to you all! I am feeling good today and I hope you too! Sharing today a card I made for Crafter's Companion and the HSN show last month. I love this card very much, maybe because I love Irises ;)

So, here are the details:
  • Make a card base from textured cardstock. 6" x 6" square card.
  • Cut a panel from Coastal Pearl Shimmering cardstock 5"x 5". Cut a piece of Yellow Pearl Shimmering cardstock, slightly smaller than the Coastal Pearl one, add a piece of patterned paper and add stitches. Add Tape lace and adhere panel to card base.
  • Stamp Iris on a piece of White cardstock, color it with Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils, I used these ones: 13, 15, 16, 20, 38, 78, 80, 83.
  • Mat the colored image on a piece of Coastal Pearl Shimmering cardstock and add stitches.
  • Stamp sentiment, die-cut and emboss it with Circle dies. Add it to a scallop circle base.
  • Add panels to card base with foam adhesive.
  • Finally add clear rhinestones, cover the image with Clear Wink of Stella pen.

Psalm 126:3

Hello friends! How are you today? Hope your Thursday is a great one. Today, I have some exciting news, Karen from Word Art Wednesday asked me to be a Guest Designer and I said YES!! Last week I had computer problems, so I couldn't participate with the first challenge, but I am here now with this week's project.

I have to confess the Bible verse for this week is just perfect, I have been (am) under a lot of situations, a little bit of stress and other part of life things, but I always get a blessing, and I count it as big and that makes me glad!!

So, here I go, this is the card I made. I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.

Here are the details:

  • Make card base from Ivory cardstock. 4.5" square.
  • Cut a panel from Coastal Pearl Shimmering cardstock 4" square and mat it with a piece of patterned paper, add a strip of a coordinated patterned paper and add stitches.
  • Die-cut a banner and add it to panel.
  • Die-cut and emboss a scallop circle from Coastal Pearl.
  • Print Bible verse, then die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Circle dies.
  • Add circles to panel.
  • Make a double bow, add it to panel as well as 3 paper flowers.

Faux Embossed Background with Dies tutorial

Hello friends! Today I have a super easy and fun tutorial using dies products from Crafter's Companion. You can create different background with the dies you already own, from small to big, dies are always a great embellishment, and now you can use it as faux embossed background.

Directions:
  • Step1: Gather together a piece of Yellow Pearl Shimmering Cardstock and Stars Bebunni Dies.

  •  Step2: Die-cut and emboss a good amount of stars. (If you decide the cover the whole panel)

  •  Step 3: Place die-cut stars to a piece of Yellow Pearl Shimmering cardstock, then glue them on.

  •  Step 4: Adhere yellow panel on a piece of Green Envy Shimmering cardstock. Add stitches if desired.

  • Step 5: Stamp sentiment in Emerald City StazOn ink on a piece of White cardstock, die-cut it with Just the Tickets Die and adhere it with foam adhesive on faux embossed panel. Add button and twine.

And this is the final project, super easy and fun, don't you think?

I have another card with a girl in mind, following the same steps:
