This is the project I created: For my card I die-cut a frame in Black Cardstock, stamped the frame and sentiment in memento Luxe Wedding Dress. Added few leaves left from another project and inked all the edges with the same ink, as well as the roses. I added scored lines to the right and bottom, I added few scraps as banners to give it more color :)

  • Stamp set includes 7 images and 5 sentiments
  • Set measures approximately 4" x 6"
  • The large sunflower image measures approximately 2 1/4"
  • Designed by Diane Zechman
  • Priced at $15

  • These are the projects I created:

I think these birds are adorable!! I stamped the image on Watercolor Paper in Jet Black Archival, color them with Inktense Pencils. The sentiment was stamped in Golden Glitz (Tsukineko), then I used the oval die from the Decorative Plaques Collection and paper pierced. Then, I stamped the hearts on a piece of White Cardstock in Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black, added clear embossing powder and heat set, colored with Red Copics, added Crystal Lacquer and glitter. Die-cut a border lace and added to panel after adding stitches.
I die-cut a medium heart, covered it with Crystal Lacquer and added glitter and a paper flower.

For this card I used the Deconstructed Sketch. the sunflowers were stamped on Watercolor Paper in Jet Black Archival, colored them with Inktense Pencils. I used a piece of 1/2" scor-tape to add the criss cross lines, a lot easier than using glue.

    Princess Castle

Hello friends!! Today I have a very cute and girl-y card. My daughter is 9 years old and for as long as I remember the only color she "loved" was PINK!! Recently, she has changed it for "turquoise" because is a "cool color" LOL.
Anyway, when we moved into our new house, she was only 3 and wanted her bedroom "PINK", we got the paint and goodness, the pink was so bright, it could bright the entire hall with no light on! She was in her own "Princess Castle" as she used to call it.

When I saw this image and sentiment I knew I had to get it, she loves it (still likes pink I think) and even made a couple of cards for her friends :) She is a real cardmaker too.
Anyway, I used Princess Castle and Princess Sentiment for my card.

    Instructions:
    • Make card base from Pink Cardstock.
    • Stamp image and sentiment in Versamark Ink, add gold embossing powder and heat set. Mat image with a pink CS panel and Patterned Paper, add stitches and adhere it to card front.
    • Stamp Castle image on White Cardstock (x3), color it with markers and cut out little pieces to create the 3D effect.
    • Add pieces to main image.
    • Add a small bow.
    • Add little pearls to corner.

  • Coordinates with Vintage Ornaments stamp set

  • CIJ2

Here are the projects I made with this set and coordinated dies.

This card is pretty CAS, the base is a Gold Cardstock, scored each side at 1/4". The panel is 4.5" x 3.15", embossed and added some zig zag stitches. Die-cut ornament and stamped in versamark ink and gold heat embossed. The sentiment was stamped in Coffee Archival. Added a copper tinsel bow.

For this second card, I stamped the ornaments in Versamark ink and added clear embossing powder and heat set. Then applied a good coat of Gold Gelatos and rubbed it with a sponge, after that I inked all the edges with Vintage Photo Distress. Cut out a piece to create a window and added a piece of red CS with the sentiment stamped and heat embossed in white. Die-cut a border lace and painted it with carmine 3D paint. Die-cut and stamped and ornament in Olive Archival. Finally, I added pearls.

Here is the project I made with the Poinsettia stamp set and new die, this is a glassine bag, I thought it could be a good idea to pass your Christmas cards in a pretty bag, or maybe a Gift Card or something special :)
The picture doesn't make justice, this poinsettia is really pretty in real look. I first die-cut it in watercolor paper, stamped it in Jet Black Archival and colored it with Inktense Pencils. Then covered the poinsettia with Crystal Lacquer and sprinkled little bit og glitter
TIP: It's better if you use your finger tips to sprinkle the glitter. Let it dry for at least 1 hour.
I wrapped Patterned paper, added decorative lace borders and ribbon.

Now that you've seen the new dies, check out what our DT did with them by clicking the thumbnails below.

    Dove of Peace

Hello friends!! Hope you are having a fantastic Monday!! I am back in my craft room after having a relaxed weekend!! Last Saturday was my Anniversary, 11 years of marriage! My husband thought that it could be fun to take me to the Craft Mall!! I had so much fun, he was so patient, I walked and walked and he just followed me, LOL. After that we went to P.F.Chang's for dinner, it was our first time there (we don't have one in town, we travel 80 miles to get there), they treated us so nice!

Anyway, did I mention the weather  was HOT, HOT, HOT!! Oh goodness, the funny thing is that in our way back home one of those digital thermometers indicated 136F, we just laughed so hard!! but seriously felt like that.

Ok, back to craft talk {wink, wink}. I have a Christmas card!! Hey, never to early to start talking about Christmas.
This is a very cute image from Great Impressions called "Dove of Peace". I just tried a very CAS style, I heat embossed the image using Gold embossing powder, the embossing folder is from Stampin' Up, matted the Ivory panel on Gold cardstock and added pearls!! Very easy and fast creation.
