Wee Memories Challenge # 75 " Handmade Gifts, Tags and Boxes"

My project is a burlap wreath, it's not too difficult to make and it would be a wonderful present for a friend or relative or for you!

Cards That Care Blog Hop


Hello my friends!!! Today is a very especial day, my good friend Vera Yates is joining forces with the very talented Jennifer McGuire to collect cards for the elderly people.

We all love to make cards and I would love if you could send 1 or 20 or more to them so they can distribute to different Nursing Homes. You will bring a smile in those cute faces, guarantee!!

Here are the cards I made. I used stamps from Heartfelt Creations.



A few important details:

  • This card drive will be going on till November 31, 2011. We will need to receive your cards by November 31, 2011.
  •  Please make the cards for Christmas or Holiday Wishes. Anyone can send a card, your children, church group, scout troops, etc.
  • All cards need to have a message in it.  Please also sign your name and where you are from.  On the card envelope, write your name on the top left corner.  Also, please don't seal the envelope.
  • Please stick to just cards.
  • And please don't use any pins (safety reason).

One Layer Christmas Cards

Hello my friends!! Hope you are having a good Monday. I have been super busy and still am creating crafts and cards projects for a Holiday Bazaar in my area. I am super excited to show others my creations and I hope they like them and buy them as well.

Today I want to show a couple of cards I made for a challenge I am hosting over at StampTV.  They are "One Layer Christmas Cards", hope you can join the challenge for your chance to win "Gina K. Designs" a set of your choice :)



 For these cards I used the new StampTV Kit "Wishing you Joy", colored the images with Copic Markers and stamp the snowflakes with a glue pad and added glitter.

Some news:
  • The Card Drive for Kids has been extended until Nov. 5th. I will announce the winner on Nov. 6th. If you have send cards for the kids and don't see your name on the list, please let me know (I believe and trust in all of you), you can check the list HERE.

Wee Memories Challenge #74: Brads, buttons or bows.

Hello my friends!! Welcome to another Wee Memories Challenge. This week our challenge is "Brads, Buttons and/or Bows", you can use one, two or all combined, it is up to you!!

Our challenge is sponsored by Jay Gee's Nook and the prize is a $20.00 Gift Certificate.



For my card I included a bow :) My card is actually a Baby Shower Invite. I made 10 of these and I loved the final result.

Directions:
  • Make card base from White cardstock.
  • Cut a panel from Kraft cardstock. Stamp sentiment and embossed the upper part.
  • Ink all edges with White craft Ink and set aside to dry.
  • Die-cut and emboss tag in Bashful Blue Cardstock.
  • Stamp baby feet on White Cardtsock in Faded Jeans Distress Ink. Die-cut, emboss and stencil piece with Circle Nestabilities.
  • Adhere image to tag piece with Pop dots. Adhere it to panel.
  • Tie on Twine twice around panel and make a bow.
  • Adhere panel to card base.

  • Cardstock: White, Kraft (Gina K. Designs), Bashful Blue (Stampin' Up)
  • Stamps: Baby feet (StampCraft), Sentiment from Oh Baby (Gina K. Designs)

More Christmas Cards! This time CAS style.

Directions:
  • Make card from Ivory Cardstock. 4.25" square.
  • Punch bottom corners and ink all edges.
  • Stamp image in Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.
  • Tie on ribbon. Adhere rhinestones.
  • Stamp sentiment. Die-cut, emboss and distress it with oval nestabilities. Adhere it to inside of card.

  • Cardstock: Textured Wine, White (GKD)

Directions:
  • Make card base from Wine Cardstock. 5" square.
  • Cut out a panel from White cardstock, ink all edges and stamp sentiment in Black Soot Ink.
  • In a separate piece of White Cardstock stamp ornament image in Aged Mahogany DIstress Ink, add clear embossing powder and set to heat.
  • Cut out image and adhere it to card with Pop DOts.
  •  Tie on ribbon.

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop Day 3: "You Go Girl" & "Pleasant Plurals"

Hello my friends!! Welcome to day 3 and final day of Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hops. Today we are featuring "You Go Girl" by Tami Mayberry and "Pleasant Plural" by Gina K. Designs, this set is the new free with 3.

You Go Girl: This set is fantastic, the sayings are fantastic! i know you (I) will be using it a lot :)

Directions:
  • Make card from White Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut a panel from In The Navy CS, mat this piece with Patterned paper, add straight stitches, add a piece of In the Navy CS and add zig-zag stitches.
  • Add 3 strips of Patterned paper and add straight stitches.
  • Stamp sentiment and border-girl in Memento Tuxedo Black in White CS. Die-cut and emboss piece with Rectangle Nestabilities. Adhere it to card with large pop dots.
  • Add mini clear rhinestones.
  • Create a double bow with bow-easy and adhere it to card.

Pleasant Plurals:  Free with purchse of 3 sets. This set is a MUST have set, it is full with wonderful saying for almost every occasion. I used a couple of crocheted flowers I made few months ag, I think the contrast is really pretty.

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut strips of fabric tape and adhere them to card to create your background.
  • Cut a strip of cardstock, punch border and ink all edges. Stamp sentiment. Adhere it to card.
  • Add mini pearls to any other flower.
  • Add crocheted flowers and paper flower.
  • Add Star Dust Stickles to paper flower.

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop Day 2: "Wishing You Joy StampTV Kit"

Hello my friends! Welcome to Day 2 of Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop. Today we are featuring the new StampTV Kit "Wishing You Joy". I have to say this new kit is super, love the images and sentiments are fantastic!

Joy:

Directions:
  • Make card base from In the navy CS. 5" square card.
  • Cut a panel from White CS, mat this piece with Patterned paper and add stitches.
  • Tie on ribbon, and button with twine.
  • Die-cut, emboss and stencil a piece of White CS (stencil it with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink)
  • Stamp sentiment in Black Soot Distress Ink.
  • Add micro fine glitter on a piece of White CS and adhere it to square piece.
  • Stamp Snowman on White CS, color it with Copic Markers and adhere it to square piece.
  • Cut a couple of Pine trees (I used my Cricut for these)
  •  Adhere square piece to card. Add White liquid pearls to pine trees.
  • Add pearls to left corner.

  • Die-cut and emboss a piece of All Spruced Up CS using Scallop Circle Nestabilities.
  • Mat circle pieces and adhere them to card.
  • Add tiny silver rhinestones to stockings.
  • Stamp sentiment, ink all edges and adhere it to card.
  • Add Red and green rhinestones.

  • Stamp sentiment on White CS in Black Soot Distress Ink. Die-cut, emboss and stencil it using a medium die from Labels Eight Nestabilities.
  • Die-cut and emboss a couple of Yellow CS using Fleur De Lis Nestabilities. Add pieces to opposite corners of main image.
  • Add sentiment as well. Adhere panel to card.
  • Add Star Dust Stickles to flowers and girl's boots.

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop Day 1: "Basket Additions" and "Strength & Hope"

Hello my friends! Welcome to Day 1 of Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop. Hope you enjoyed the Release Party last night, it was a lot of fun!! Here are my projects!

Basket Additions: This set coordinates with Spring Basket and Holiday Basket, a great addition for your collection :) I used the basket from "Spring Basket"

Directions:
  • Make card from White Cardstock. 5.5" square card.
  • Cut a panel from Sweet Mango CS (5 1/8" square).
  • Cut a panel from Patterned Paper, ink all edges (5" square).
  • Mat PP and CS, add strips of orange dot PP. Add straight stitches to all sides and zig-zag to PP strips.
  • Stamp sentiment in Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
  • Tie on ribbon and adhere panel to card base.
  • Stamp basket (twice) on White CS, color them with Copic Markers and cut out 1 of them. Die-cut, emboss and stencil piece with Square Nestabilities
  • Stamp Pumpkin, leaves image on White CS, color it with Copic Markers and cut it out.
  • Add Tangerine twine to jar, also some Star Dust Stickles. Add pumpkin image to your square piece with small pop dots. Add Crystal Lacquer to image.
  • Add Lace tape to basket, adhere basket to square panel with large dots to create a good 3D effect.
  • Mat square piece with a Fleur de Lis Square in Chocolate Brown CS. Adhere it to card. 
  • Add mini pearls to opposite corners.

Card recipe:
  1. Cardstock: White, Sweet Mango, Chocolate Brown (Gina K. Designs)
  2. Patterned Paper: Honey cake (My Mind's Eye)
  3. Stamps: Basket Additions (Gina K. Designs)
  4. Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Walnut Stain Distress, Vintage Photo Distress, Old Paper Distress (Ranger Industries)
  5. Embellishments: Mini pearls (GKD), Star Dust Stickles (Ranger), Crystal Lacquer, Orange Satin Ribbon (LSS),  Tangerine Twine (The Twinery), White Lace Tape Ribbon (Love my Tapes)

Strength & Hope: I really love this set, Theresa will be donating all the proceeds of this set for the first month of sales, to cancer research. I think this set works for every single Cancer or Group Awareness. I really really love this and I am planning on making several in yellow color for the families with kids with Spina Bifida.
Also, I will make a card for my husband, who now is a Skin Cancer Survivor.

This is the card I made using Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Directions:
  • Make card from White cardstock.
  • Ink all edges. Cut a panel from Innocent Pink CS, mat this with 2 different types of Patterned Paper. Add stitches.
  • Stamp image on White Cardstock. Color it with Copic markers. Die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Labels Ten Nestabilities.
  • Trace the die onto Chocolate Brown CS to create the back for you white piece.
  • Stamp sentiment on White CS in Vintage Photo Distress. Die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Grommet Tag Dies.
  • Adhere image and sentiment to card. Add a couple of Silver brads to sentiment.
  • Add pearls.
  • Cover ribbon image with Crystal Lacquer and Add Star Dust Stickles to flowers.

  1. Cardstock: White, Innocent Pink, Chocolate Brown (Gina K. Designs)
  2. Patterned paper: Victoria Garden (Echo Park Paper)

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock. A2 size
  • Cut a panel from Ocean Mist Cardstock. Mat this with a slightly smaller piece of Patterned Piece, ink all edges. Add a strip of blue PP and cut another with waves. Add straight and zig-zag stitches.
  • Stamp sentiment in Black Soot Ink.
  • Stamp image on White Cardstock in memento Tuxedo Black, color it with Copic Markers. Die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Circle Nestabilities.
  • Adhere it to card with Pop Dots.
  • Treat button with Lemon Drop twine. Add to card.
  • Add Star Dust Stickles to waves and whale spout.

Hello my friends! Second post today, wow, that doesn't happen every day. A couple of nights ago I colored this image, but I didn't have time to make the card and post it here, so here I go.
The image and sentiment are from Heartfelt Creations. I colored it with Copic Markers. I make this card very simple, other than coloring, super easy card.

A Christmas Card.

Hello my friends!  Today I have another Christmas project for you, super simple and cute.

Heartfelt Creations Stamps and Store Products Used:
  • HCPC 3415 Petite Poinsettia  Pre-Cut Set.
  • HCPC 3428 Script Christmas Tree Pre-Cut Set.
  • Large Scallop Circle Neatbilities Dies.
  • Large Circle Nestabilities Dies.
  • Grand Calibur
  • White Brad

Other Products:
  • Cardstock: Olive (Core'dinations), White (GKD)
  • Patterned Paper: Jovial (BasicGrey)
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Vintage Photo (Ranger Industries)
  • Accessories: Sewing machine, Sponges, Tape, Star Dust Stickles (Tanger)

Directions:
  • Die-cut and emboss (x2) scallop and standard circle.
  • Add a piece of Patterned Paper to a White piece, add zig-zag stitches. Stamp sentiment.
  • Adhere white piece to scallop ones. Create a card.
  • Stamp Poinsettia flowers on White Cardstock. Color them with Copic Markers : R27, R29, R35, R46. Cut them out and adhere Star Stickles to every edge. Mat flowers and add a brad.
  • Add Poinsettia flower to card.

Wee Memories Challenge #72: Holiday Madness, sponsored by "Lawn Fawn Stamps"

Hello my friends! Welcome to another Wee Memories Challenge. This week our challenge is "Holiday Madness",  the holidays are coming fast, so make cards or creations for any holiday you wish!



Our wonderful sponsor is "Lawn Fawn" Stamps!! and the awesome prize is a $25.00 Gift Certificate.


This is the card I created:

Directions:
  • Make card from Cardstock.
  • Stamp bear, canes and sentiment on White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black. Color them with Copic markers.
  • Stamp an extra bear and bow, color them with Copic Markers and cut them out.
  • Adhere bear to panel with Pop dots. Add bow.
  • Adhere Snowflake to card panel.
  • Add red and green mini rhinestones. Add drops of White Liquid Pearl.
  • Ink all edges with Old Paper Distress Ink.
  • Mat White panel with a piece of Red cardstock. Cut all edges with scissors.
  • Add Star Dust Stickles to candy canes.

  • Cardtsock: Red, Kiwi Kiss (Stampin' Up), White (GKD)
  • Stamps: Pa-Rum-Pa-Rum-Pum (Lawn Fawn)
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Old Paper Distress (Ranger)
  • Embellishments: Red Rhinestones, Light Green Rhinestones (Kaisercraft), White Pearl.
  • Accessories: Shaped scissors (Provo-craft), Pop dots, Liquid Pearls, Sponges, Sewing machine.
