Birthday Wishes for you.

Hello my friends! Hope you had a great weekend, mine was busy preparing and planting the garden!! So excited to have green onions already growing, raspberries from last year that i thought were dead are not and they are blooming :) The boxes are ready and waiting for the weather to cooperate a bit more so I can transplant lots of veggies I have indoors.

Anyway, for today I have a Birthday card for you, I made this card for somebody especial and I hope makes this person happy :)


Directions:
  • Make card from Ivory Cardstock. 5" square card.
  • Die-cut a window on the front of your card. Stamp background image on bottom of card in Starlite Silver Brilliance Ink.
  • Tie Blue ribbon around.
  • Ink your frame with Faded Jeans Distress Ink. Adhere it to card.
  • Stamp sentiment on a piece of Ivory Cardstock in Faded Jeans Distress Ink. Die-cut and emboss it with Label 8 Dies. Adhere to card.
  • Stamp background image on inside bottom as well.
  • Add paper flowers.
  • Add tiny silver rhinestones on front card.

  • Stamps: Backgrounds 1 (Wplus9), Sentiment from Framed Greetings (Gina K. Designs)
  • Ink: Faded Jeans Distress (Ranger Industries), Starlite Silver Brilliance (Tsukineko)
  • Embellishments: Light Blue Satin Ribbon (Offray), Silver rhinestones (Recollections), Mulberry Paper Flowers (Recollections).

On your Wedding Day

Hello my friends, I hope you are having a great day! Here I am dealing with horrible allergies and sinus headaches, yikes!! It's the season, right? It is also the season for weddings, ohhhh love is in the air :) So, I decided to make this card and it is a CAS!! No sewing machine, no PP, no lots of things, but I think it came out pretty good :)

The sentiment is a freebie from Paper Craft Magazine, you can get it HERE. The sketch comes from Less is More and the pretty colors are from Moxie Fab: Tuesday Trigger, also submitting this card t Tuesday Throwdown: Florals




Directions:
  • Make card from cardstock.
  • Emboss a piece of White cardstock, stamp flowers and tie ribbon around. Add a pearl on it. Adhere it to card.
  • Print sentiment and die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Oval Nestabilities. Adhere it with Foam tape.

A gift set: Flora Grande Card + Bag.

Hello my friends! I hope you are having a great day. I have Clean and Simple Gift Set "Card + Bag" for you. Super easy and I think will be happy to see how a simple bag can become an elegant and happy bag. All producst used are from Heartfelt Creations.

Directions:
  • Card: Make card from Kraft Cardstock. 4.5" square.
  • Stamp small flower from HCPC 3375 Flora Grande 1 PreCut Set, medium flower from HCPC 3374 Grande Flora 2 PreCut Set on Vellum cardstock in Poppy Pearlescent Ink and leaves from HCPC 3376 Distressed Leaves PreCut Set on Vellum cardstock as well in Crushed Olive Distress Ink. Sponge images with same color ink. Add Glue Pad in all edges and add Pink Glitter from Antique Rose set.
  • Create flower and adhere to card. Add pearl in center.
  • Tie raffia around a create a bow.
  • Stamp sentiment from HCPC 3354 Classic Message PreCut Set in Tea Dye Distress Ink.
  • Bag: Stamp flowers from HCPC 3375 Flora Grande 1 PreCut Set, HCPC 3374 Grande Flora 2 PreCut Set on Vellum cardstock in Poppy Pearlescent Ink and leaves from HCPC 3376 Distressed Leaves PreCut Set on Vellum cardstock as well in Crushed Olive Distress Ink. Sponge images with same color ink. Add Glue Pad in all edges and add Pink Glitter from Antique Rose set.
  • Create flower and adhere to bag. Add pearl in center.

Miss you

Hello my friends! Hope you all are having a great day. First, I want to thank you for all your sweet comments about my "Thank you" card. Some of you left some questions here, but no way to reply, so if you have a question, please leave you e-mail address or e-mail me and I will be answering ASAP.

Anyway, yesterday I did a lot of yard/garden work and I got completely exhausted, man I was so tired and I couldn't move. Today, I am back walking LOL and in my few free minutes I made this cute card. No sewing here :), pretty easy and cute.

Miss you card:

Directions:
  • Make card from White cardstock.
  • Cut a piece of Bashful blue, ink and distress edges. Adhere to card.
  • Cut a piece of White cardstock, dry emboss, ink and distress edges. Adhere to card.
  • Print digi-image and color it with Copic Markers. Die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Rectangle Nestabilities. Adhere to card with foam tape.
  • Stamp sentiment, die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Circle Nestabilities.
  • Adhere a strip of Scor-tape and add seam binding ribbon.
  • Create a paper flower and adhere to card
How to make the flower:
  • Ink a piece of white tissue paper or use a color tissue paper. I used Broken China to ink my paper.
  • Fold your paper in 4 and die-cut it using flower die-cuts (you can use punches or even scissor to create your own style)
  • Crinkle you paper flowers and add more ink (if you want to) to all edges.
  • Add a brad to hold pieces.
  • I used Posy Patch Dies from Heartfelt Creations :)

Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: White (GKD), Bashful Blue (SU)
  • Paper: White Tissue Paper.
  • Stamps: Sentiment from Botanicals (GKD)
  • Image: Digi-image from Heather Ellis (Pure Innocence)
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Broken China (Ranger), Copic Markers.
  • Embellishments: White Seam Binding Ribbon (etsy), Silver brad.

Directions:
  • Make card from Innocent Pink Cardtsock.
  • Mat White Cardstock and Patterned Paper (ink all edges), add a strip of different PP and add stitches. Tie ribbon around. Adhere to card.
  • Stamp image from Spring Basket set, color it with Copic Markers, die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Label 8 Nestabilities.
  • Stamp sentiment and die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Fancy Tag Dies.
  • Adhere Label to card using Pop Dots.
  • Add sentiment with Pop dots.
  • Add a couple of pearls.
  • Cover leaves and flowers with Crystal Lacquer and set to dry.

CSS Sketch Challenge Blog Hop

  • Make card from Ivory cardstock.
  • Punch a side border of Chocolate Brown Cardstock, add Patterned paper, ink all edges and add stitches.

  • Stamp sentiment from HCPC Classic Message PreCut Set onto front card in Pearlescent Poppy Pigment Ink. Set aside to let ink dry.
  • Stamp flowers from HCPC 3303 Posy Patch Flowers PreCut Set on Vellum Cardstock in Pearlescent Poppy Pigment Ink. Die-cut flowers using HCD 701 Posy Patch Diecuts.
  • Die-cut swirl from  HCD 711 Decorative Dutch Iris Die using Bright Pink Glitter Cardstock. Adhere to card.
  • Punch border using Bright Pink Glitter Cardstock. Adhere to card.
  • Die-cut a Circle border and a Circle using Circle Nestanilities. Adhere to card.
  • Pair flowers and glue them together. Adhere them to card. Add Red Pearl on them.

  • Stamp Iris image and leaves from HCPC 3373 Dutch Iris Medley PreCut Set on White cardstock in Versamark Ink, add gold embossing powder and heat it up. Stamp leaves in Memento Tuxedo Black. Color Iris with Inks: Memento Lavender and Daffodil Delight. Adhere to card with Foam tape.

  • Die-cut image, emboss and stencil image with  Label 3 Nestabilities.
  • Add extra butterflies to main image. Add pearl.

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop Day 3

Hello my friends! Welcome to Day 3 of our Inspirational Blog Hop showcasing the new sets just released from Gina K. Designs. Today, we have 3 wonderful sets: Perfect Pennants, Cute as a Bug & Lovely Labels 3


Perfect Pennants. This wonderful set illustrated by Tami Mayberry is fantastic.
I started my card with a piece of Wild Dandelion CS. I sponged clouds on White CS. I matted this piece with a slightly bigger piece of Bubblegum Pink CS and added some stitches. I created the grass cutting a piece of Green PP from the STampTV Kit, sponged the tips with Green Ink and added to card with Scor-Tape. I stamped the banners on PP from StampTV Kit, cut them out and glue them on CS, using mini scallop scissors cut the border. Make little holes using a punch and add Twine, add it to card front and add silver brads. Add Stickles to banner. Stamp sentiment.


Cute as a Bug. This set is illustrated by Rupa Shevde, and it is fun and super cute.
I started my card with a piece of White CS, Created a front with Wild Dandelion, added a smaller piece of White CS, punched one side, added PP, an embossed piece of White CS and added stitches. Die-cut a piece of Wild Dandelion CS, dry embossed and ink all edges, added to card. Stamp image on White CS, colored it with Copic Markers, stamped and colored and extra image, cut it out and added to card with foam tape. Stamp sentiment,die-cut, emboss and stencil it, added to card. Finally, added a couple of Yellow Buttons.
For this card I used the sketch from  "The Sweet Stop"


Lovely Labels 3: This set is illustrated by Nina Brackett.
I started my card with a piece of Kraft CS (5" square), matted a piece of Grass Green and Ivory CS, added a strip of PP and added stitches. Die-cut and emboss a piece of Grass Green using Label 3 Nestabilities. Stamped the label on White CS in Crushed Olive Distress Ink and cut it out, the sentiment was stamped in Vintage Photo Distress ink, die-cut, embossed and stenciled with Circle Nestabilities. Added to card with Foam Tape. Tie around some Jute twine.

Gina K. Inspiration Blog Hop Day 2

Hello my friends, welcome to Day 2 of our Inspiration Blog Hop. Today, the DT has 3 wonderful sets to showcase "Bring the Bling", Warm with Love" and "Make a Splash"

Bring the Bling: This new set ilustrated by Melanie Muenchinger is fantastic to add the perfect touches to your card or page. For my card, make a card base with White CS, offset Kraft CS and PP from the new StampTV Kit, ink all edges, add stitches, then stamped the bling image on the Patterned Paper in Antique Linen Distress Ink, then added some Liquid Pearls, set it to dry and finished my card adding the bow and sentiment from the new StampTV Kit.



Warm with Love: This set is beautiful and illustrated by Theresa Momber. I started dry embossing the front of my card with Dots & Spots folder. I stamped the image on White CS in Tuxedo Black Ink, color it with Copic Markers. Die-cut, emboss and stencil with Label 3 Nestabilities, Die- cut and emboss a piece of PP. Add PP to front card, Tie ribbon around and add image with foam tape. Stamp sentiment and adhere to card. As a final touches I add a couple of pins and pearls.


Make a Splash: This set is so cute, illustrated by Asela Hopkins: This card is super cute and easy to make. Make your card base from White CS. Create the waves with White CS (layering weight) and big scissors, cut the scallops, they don't have to be perfect. Cut 3 different sizes, distress the pieces with Faded Jeans and Broken China Distress Inks. Adhere them to card with Scor-tape. Stamp little fishes and color them with Copic Markers. Stamp whale in a piece of White CS. Color it with Copic Markers and Add it to card with foam tape. Add a little bit of Waterfall Stickles on the spout. Create a template and sponges clouds. Stamp sentiment and add sun (Make it with the Cricut Machine)using Wild Dandelion CS
