Happy Birthday Abby!

Hello my friends! I hope you are having a great day. I planned to post this yesterday, but I felt miserable, I had sinus headaches all day, fever 100F all day too and body ache, no runny nose, no cough, no other symptoms.
My daughter had a birthday party yesterday and sadly I couldn't go, I decided to stay home and rest, and believe I rested very well. My husband took DD to the party and I napped, I woke up when I heard the phone ringing.I napped for 3 hours!!! I felt a bit better after that, but still feeling dizzy and a lot of sinus pressure.

So, here is the card I made for the birthday girl. Her theme party was dots and I got inspired by the present bag. I cut the circles with Nestabilities dies using little scraps of CS, perfect for this project!

Card Recipe:
Card Stock: Sweet Mango, Innocent Pink, Bubblegum Pink, Chocolate Brown, Lemon Drop (All Gina K), Orange (LSS).
Stamps: Inside & Out (Gina K), ABC (Studio G)
Ink: Espresso Adirondack (Ranger)
Accessories: Medium Glue Dots, Circle Nestabilities.

Hope you like it. I have another post later! Gina K Blog Hop!!
Have a great day.

Taylor's Cupcake Challenge

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great day. Here in the Northwest the weather is really crazy, some days is very bright and warm and others like today cloudy and rainy, not too cold, but not a joyful day.
Saturday's usually I don't stamp, but I have a book with all the blog challenges that I would like to accomplish, I hope I can do at least 1/3 of them, LOL.
Anyway, I tried this time Taylor's Cupcake Challenge, I checked her sketch yesterday, but I didn't read all the post, oppss, so I made a regular card, I thought it doesn't look right, so I checked her blog again and I read the complete post, and ahhhhh I made the card too small, so I made another card, this time the right measurement.

For my first card I used the new release from The Saltbox Studio, this set is called The Mouse mama and more.

.

For my second card I used Sea Life set from H&MStamps : I sponged a lot!!! My fingers are covered with tons of ink, I created waves using 3 different tones of blue, I embossed the circles and used colored pencils for the sun.
Card Recipe:
Card Stock: SU Groovy Guava, SU Bashful blue, White.
Stamps: Sea Life by H&M Stamps.
Ink: SU Bashful Blue, SU Buckaroo blue, SU Cranberry Crips, Stazon Black, Red, Gold ep.

Mother's Day Card

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing great. I started my day very early today and when I decided to come back to bed my DD got up, it was only 6:02 am !!!!! Oh poor me, I was feeling very tired, anyway, I decided then to do all my chores and before 7:00 am I had everything done!!!! Hurray for me, LOL.

Today on SCS is another challenge day, Thursday are Ways to Use it Challenge, and today was to make some pleats or ruffles... hmmm, first time I tried this technique, but I love it.
I used my sewing machine to ruffle my ribbon. It looks really pretty IRL. I embossed the rose using white ep direct to the paper, then I embossed another rose and cut it out and used dimensionals.

Card Recipe:
Card stock: White, Su Chocolate Chip.
Paper: MDC
Stamps: SU Flower Garden (rose) Mama Mouse and more by Saltbox Studio (sentiment)
Ink: Stazon Black.
Embellishments: Red Ribbon, gold brads, gold stickles, gold thread
Accessories: SU dimensionals, double sided tape, sewing machine, embossing gun.

Hope you like it.
God bless
