Baby Bud Challenge: Winter/Christmas

Hello my friends! I hope you all who celebrated Thanksgiving had an awesome day!! We had a fun time just us 3, my daughter has been really sick, she is feeling much better now and now I am sick. Too many nights laying next to her and hugging and cuddleing her, makes me the winner of the crazy bug she got, LOL.

Anyway, it is time for another Baby Bud Challenge, this time is Winter/Christmas theme! and a freebe Friday, better go to the Baby Bud Blog and grab it so you can play along with us! Also, you can visit the etsy store and find all the cutest Baby Bud Images!!

This is the card I made using "Holly" a brand new Baby Bud. Isn't she cute? I paper-pieced her dress, colored her with Copic Markers and added a really Christmas gold ribbon.

A New Christmas Baby Bud "Noelle"

Hello my friends and Happy Monday! Today, I want to introduce you to the new addition to the Baby Bud Collection "Noelle", she is a cute Christmas Baby Bud.
Isn't she adorable?! You can get it now at the Baby Bud Etsy Store!

Directions:
  • Make card from cardstock (A2 Size)
  • Mat a piece of red cardstock and Christmas Patterned paper. Add zig-zag stitches.
  • Print image, color it with Copic Markers. Color an extra image, cut out dress and hat, Adhere to image with foam tape. Add Liquid Applique to Hat, collar dress and button, heat it to develop the bubbles. Add some fine clear glitter.
  • Die cut image with Oval Nestabilities, emboss and stencil it with Red Ink.
  • Die-cut borders using Pink cardstock and add them behind image.
  • Add ribbon . Add image with foam tape.


Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Real Red, Blush Blossom (SU), White (GP).
  • Paper: K&Co.
  • Digital Image: Noelle Baby Bud (Baby Bud Designs)
  • Ink: Real red (SU), Copic Markers.
  • Embellishments: Pink Satin Ribbon (Offray), Diamond Stickles (Ranger).
  • Accessories: Sewing machine. Yellow thread, Oval Nestabilities, Decorative Butterfly-Border Die-cut (Heartfelt Creations), Foam Tape, Liquid Applique, Sponges.

So cute! Baby Bud Challenge!

Hello my friends! It is time for another fun "Baby Bud Challenge" over at the "Baby Bud Blog" and this time it is "Scallops, Buttons and Bling", also time for a Freebie image, so head over to the Baby Bud Blog and grab the cute image :)

This is the card I created using "Lady Baby Bug", so cute!!

Directions:
  • Make card from Pink cardstock.
  • Using scallop punch border, punch-out bottom border. Mat it with a piece of Patterned paper. Tie ribbon around and add to card. 
  • Print digital image and color it with Prismacolor Pencils and Copic Markers. Die-cut image with Label 8 Nestabilities. Print and color a second image, cut-out the wings and adhere to image with foam tape.
  • Add glitter to black spots. Add apple button. Adhere to card.
  • Stamp sentiment and add black rhinestones.


Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: Blush Blossom (SU), Real Red (SU), White (GP).
  • Paper: Just dreamy (My Mind's Eye)
  • Stamps: ABC (Studio G)
  • Image: Lady Baby Bug (Baby Bud Designs)
  • Ink: Real Red (SU), Copic Markers, Prismacolor Pencils.
  • Embellishments: Apple button, Black Rhinestones (Kaisercraft), Red Satin Ribbon (Offray), Gray Glitter.
  • Accessories: Label 8 Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Sponges, Border punch (Fiskars), Foam tape.

A card for Logan and Bekah

Hello my friends!! This is my second post in one day, yay!!
I am so happy because I just finished a card for Logan and Bekah and they turned out so cute!!! I used digi- images from Baby Bud Designs

Hello my friends!! I have a cute Pink-y card for you today! I really love this Fairy Image from Baby Bud Designs. I colored it with Copic Markers and Prismacolor Pencils and added it lots of glitter :)
I used the sketch from 2S4U, one of my favorite sketch blogs :)



Directions:
  • Make card from cardstock.
  • Mat together light pink cardstock and patterned paper. Ink all edges in PP.
  • Add stitches.
  • Add ruffle ribbon. Add rhinestones.
  • Print image twice, color them. Cut out body and wings from second image. Add glue or any other adhesive and add fine glitter. Set to dry.
  • Die-cut main image using Circle Nestabilities, Sponge edges.
  • Add adhesive to glittery second  image (only body part) and adhere to main image. Create 3D effect with wings

Card recipe:
  • Cardstock: Bubblegum Pink (GKD), Blush Blossom (SU. White GP).
  • Paper: PTI.
  • Image: Fairy Orlagh (Baby Bud Designs)
  • Ink: Copic Markers, Prismacolor Pencils.
  • Embellishments: Bright Pink Satin Ribbon (Offray), Bright Pink Rhinestones (Kaisercraft), Sugar Cube & Bubblegum Fine Glitter (Martha Stewart)
  • Accessories: Sewing machine, thread, Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Adhesive(Love My Tapes), Sponges, Dry Clear Glue.

Trick or treat!!

Hello my friends and welcome to our 1st Baby Bud Challenge!!!

Today is very exciting as it marks our very first Challenge at Baby Bud Designs!!!! It also falls on our Friday Freebie so everyone should be able to play along!
Here are the details:

  • The challenge begins today (September 24th, 2010) and will close on October 27th at Midnight EST. So that means you have a whole month to play along!!!
  • The theme for our first challenge is FALL/HALLOWEEN!
  • You can make up any card or project using fall colors, Halloween cuties etc, as long as it falls in one of the two categories!
  • You can enter as many times as you like!
  • We would love to see you use a Baby Bud Design Image for your projects, feel free to grab the freebie today!
  • PRIZE!!! One random winner will be selected to win 2 digi images of their choice from the Etsy Store plus 2 rubber BB stamps and a card kit full of goodies!!
Here is the card I created using "Autumn". I kept it simple (I will tell why later)

Directions:
  • Create card from cardstock.
  • Die-cut background (I used "Create a Critter" cartridge). Adhere to card with foam tape.
  • Print digital image, die-cut, emboss and ink it. Color it with Copic Markers. Add orange glitter and gold glitter on the buttons. Add black rhinestones. Mat it with a piece of Chocolate cardstock. Adhere to card with foam tape.
  • Stamp sentiment, ink edges and adhere to card.
  • Tie raffia around card.

Card recipe:
  • Cardstock: White (GP), Soft Suede (SU), Chocolate Brown, Sweet Mango (GKD)
  • Image: Autumn (Baby Bud Designs)
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Daffodil Delight, Copic Markers.
  • Embellishments: Raffia, Black Rhinestones (Kaisercrafts), Orange & Gold glitter (Studio G).
  • Accessories: Cricut machine, Create a critter cartridge, Sponges, foam tape.

Directions:
  • Make card from cardstock.
  • Mat together Brown and Orange cardstock. Add stitches.
  • Die-cut circles and create a scallop border. Tie ribbon around. Adhere to a big piece of Green cardstock.
  • Print digital image, color  and die-cut it. Color a second image (Apron part), cut it our and adhere to image with glue dots.
  • Stamp sentiment, die-cut and emboss.

Oh baby!

Hello my friends! I hope you are having a great day! Here is pretty quiet and I love it! I have a cute baby card for you today.

I got inspired by several blog challenges:


Directions:
  • Create card from cardstock.
  • Emboss a piece of cardstock and a strip too, using different embossing folders.
  • Adhere to a bigger Kraft piece and add stitches. Add Fabric tape to a side.
  • Print digital image and color it. Die-cut, emboss and ink it.
  • Add buttons to image. Adhere to card.
  • Add Paper flower and stamp sentiment.



Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: White, Kraft, Grss Green, Wild Dandelion (Gina K. Designs)
  • Image: Digital Image "Buggy Bloom" (Baby Bud Designs)
  • Ink: Daffodil Delight (SU), Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)

BOO!! Did I scare you?

Hello my friends!! Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've been working on "secret projects" that I will show you in the next few weeks, to be honest I've been super busy inking my fingers and cutting paper and cardstock :)

Anyway, today Baby Bud Store is introducing to you a new Baby Bud,here it is: Autumn Baby Bud!! Isn't she cute!! She is wearing a cute mouse costume. You can purchase her HERE.

And this is the card I made: BOO!

Directions:
  1. Make card from cardstock.
  2. Mat together cardstock and patterned paper. Add straight stitches. Tie ribbon around. Adhere to card.
  3. Print image. Color it and die-cut, emboss and ink. Adhere to card with foam tape.
  4. Paint chipboard letters. Adhere to card and add stickles.



Card recipe:
  • Cardstock: Peach parfait (SU), London Fog (GKD), White (GP)
  • Paper: from my stash.
  • Image: Autumn Baby Bud.
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black.
  • Embellishments: Orange ribbon, Chipboard letters (Tim Holtz), Orange Glitter.
