New Create a Card Dies

Hello friends!! Sorry I have been MIA again, it was my time to get sick(er), the cough doesn't want to leave me, if you have a recipe you would like to share with me, I would appreciate it big time!
Anyway, today it is time to show you a new collection of "Create a Card Dies" by Crafter's Companion. They are beautiful, easy to use and you can make cards in seconds!! These dies don't have cutting edges, so you can create a perfect front for your A2 cards or change them a bit, or use just the saying, the possibilities are endless.

This is the new collection, you are going to love it!!

And let me show you a couple of projects I made with these new dies.

For my first card I used the CAC With Love Die. This card took a little bit than few seconds to finish, BUT I love the results!! It's so pretty IRL.
Here are the details:

  • Die-cut and emboss the CAC With Love Die in Ultra Smooth Premium Cardstock. Without removing the cardstock from the die, stencil it with red ink, be sure you add a little pressure to ink up all parts nice and deep. Remove piece from die and set aside to dry.
  • Die-cut and emboss a piece in red cardstock and carefully remove and keep the heart area (center)
  • Finally die-cut and emboss a piece in gold cardstock. Keep your pieces on die (i will tell you why in a second ;)
  • Glue white die piece on a bigger piece of red cardstock. Then glue the red heart pieces, finally apply glue to gold pieces. It's better to keep pieces on die so you know where every piece goes, some are really tiny, that's why I keep all my pieces on the die.
  • Then, add piece to a 5.5" x 5.5" white card base.

My second card really took few minutes to create. Very easy, elegant and feminine.
Here are the details:

  • Create a card base from White cardstock, this one is 4.5" x 5.5".
  • Die-cut and emboss CAC Thank You Die in Pink Pearl Shimmering Cardstock. Glue piece onto card base.
  • Add little flowers and leaves made using Four Seasons Die and Rose Pearl and Green envy Shimmering Cardtock. Add pearls to centers and add them to card.

Well, I have exciting news! Sara Davies from Crafter's Companion is on HSN today. HSN has a 24 hour craft day, here is the schedule, lots of products created from the DT will be showcased in the show, I created several projects, I will let you know if they are shown, but since all the projects are amazing I will be showcasing them here on my blog {wink, wink}

Let me show you on the projects I made with the Big Score Board, this is an accordion file and the new Indulgence Cardstock,(HSN link) this paper is 12" x 18" and perfect for big projects without adding or gluing pieces!!

The last picture shows a little bit of the accordion side, silly me, I forgot to take pictures of the side or the inside, sorry about that.
Love this paper, the colors are yummy and it's double sided!! I decorated the front creating a flower with 3D Delicate Flower and the swirl from Leaf Swirls, added ribbon and swirl rhinestones.

Hope you like it and watch the show!
Great deals and great products!!

With Love from me to you

Hello friends!! Happy Friday! Hope you are having a fantastic day, here the sun is bright and not too windy, which is perfect!! I am dealing with a not-perfect-combo "cold and cough", so bad, but I hope this go away soon.
Anyway, I have a super very simple card for you today, you know, my husband was hospitalized last week and I stamped few images thinking I could color while being with him (he slept most of the time), but sadly I didn't do much, so after he got released I spent one afternoon coloring the images while the house was quiet, it was very relaxing and kinda brought my mojo back (kinda). So yesterday after the hubs had a procedure done in the morning, I crafted for a couple of hours and couldn't resist this already colored image and I made a card.

This is one of my favorites sets from Crafter's Companion "Poppies and Daisies", the image was colored with Spectrum Aqua Markers and I got inspired by the sketch from Retro Sketches, here are the details:

  • Make a card base from Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock.
  • Stamp the poppies in a piece of watercolor paper in Jet Black StazOn Ink. Color image with Spectrum Aqua Markers, here I used:  Fawn, Crimson, Scarlet, Boulder, Lime, Aquamarine.
  • Trim the image as desired, adhere it to a piece of Black Pearl Shimmering cardstock and add stitches.
  • Adhere panel to card base.
  • Stamp sentiment on a piece of watercolor paper in Jet Black Ink. Add gold thread around it, treat a blue button, make a bow and add it to card with foam adhesive.
  • Finally, add some clear Wink of Stella to flowers.

Life is beautiful!!

Hello friends and Happy Monday!! Hope you had a great weekend, I did garden work!! Oh by, my boxes were full of weeds, last week I thought I didn't need a garden this year since life was already way too busy, but after receiving some flowers and veggies I bought (and I forgot I did) I decided to clean up the boxes and start gardening, maybe not as much as previous years, so I plated strawberries, tomatoes and jalapeños. I hope they all can make it.

Anyway, today I am playing the Latina Crafter sketch, it has a twist too, it's "coffee". I took the brown from the coffee color for this project.

And this is my take, I went a little bit shabby chic with this project, lots of layers and distressing and don't forget the stitches.
The flowers were stamped in Memento Tangelo, I stamped them first on a piece of paper and then onto my panel, I didn't want them too orange, I did the same with the little leaves. The sentiment was stamped in Spiced Chai Midi StazOn Ink, I decorated the sentiment panel with a couple of pearls.

You are my sunshine

Hello friends!! Wow, it has been a whole week since my last post, well I don't want to bored you with details, but I spent 3 days in the ER, first time my daughter and then the next 2 visits with my husband, he after the second visit had to be hospitalized for 4 days. He is home now and praying for a full recovery, my days were super busy, sadly last thing you do in these cases is "craft". Hopefully, I will start crafting again, maybe later , maybe tomorrow.

So today, I want to show you a card I made few weeks ago, but haven't showed it here on my blog using Crafter's Companion products.
This is a 6" square card. I watercolored the background using Spectrum Aqua Markers: Yellow, Gold, Aquamarine, State and Moss. Then die-cut the tree from Die'sire Four Season Die in watercolor paper and colored it with Spectrum Aqua Chocolate and Black. Then, I die-cut the leaves in 2 tones of  green cardstock and the little flowers in Pink Pearl Shimmering Cardstock. the bench was die-cut in gray cardstock.
I added all the die-cut elements to the watercolored piece, stamped the sentiment from Friends and Family set in St. Valentine StazOn ink, matted in a piece of Coastal Pearl and a card base from Ultra Smooth Premium Cardstock. As a final touch, I added clear rhinestones.
