There are 3 ways that you can help, and join in on the fundraising!
1. You can help by Shopping!
For every stamp set that you purchase during June 1st through the 14th SSD will donate $2 to the Komen Foundation.
2. . You can help by *Biding!
Another way you can help us raise money for the Komen Foundation is to *bid on a project or card along the blog bounce(hop). YES! EVERY Single card/project along the blogs for boobies bounce is up for auction. Bidding starts at $5 or more. Your *Bid not only includes the card or project but shipping to your home as well. * See how to place a bid for more detailed instructions.

I used the new Water Media Cards and Color Bursts by Ken Oliver Crafts. So you are getting great cards for this amazing cause!

Here are the cards:
Card #1:

Card #2:

*"How to place a bid on my card/project"
Step #1:
Find the comment section of the blog that shows the "Blogs 4 boobies" card or project that you want to buy.
Step #2: Once you are in the "blogs 4 boobies" comment section fill in the dollar and cents amount of what you are willing to pay for the card/project. We recommend a starting bid of $5 or more.
Step #3: Next to your $ bid please type in your email address. During a silent auction bidders sign their name next to their bid. typing your email address is the electronic equivalent of signing your bid. Also it will help the blogger contact you if you are the highest bidder.

Skipping Stones Challenge

Hello friends! The month is almost over! My goodness, times is sure flying and we are getting close to Thanksgiving and Christmas!

We have a new challenge over at the Skipping Stones Designs Blog, this time we have a sketch + inspiration picture, you can choose one or both! I decided to mix both into my project, the inspiration picture has a lot of elements you can pick to create a card, I got inspired by the damask, white/black. teal colors and the little bits of gold.

This is the card I created, here are the details:
  • Make a card base from White cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut a panel from Black cardstock 3.5" x 4.75"
  • Cut a panel slightly smaller than black in teal color. Stamp damasks from Damask Darling in Gold delicata ink and set aside to dry.
  • Stamp sentiment on teal cardstock from Merry & Bright set in StazOn Jet Black ink. Trim piece and add a piece of white cardstock behind.
  • Add stamped panel to card base, a stripe of gold cardstock and the sentiment with foam adhesive.
  • Die-cut a white snowflake and adhere it card with foam adhesive. Add a rhinestone to center of snowflake.

Skipping Stones Design Tip/Technique Blog Hop

Hello friends! Welcome to the Skipping Stones Tip/Technique Blog Hop!! I have a tip for you today! A super cool and easy one "Repeat stamping" This card is the result of repeat stamping, you just need a wipe and ink in different colors. I used a whole bunch of Memento Dew Drops I have in a little box that doesn't get too much love, I thought why not use this super cute dandelion image in different colors, at first I wasn't too sure, but at the end I loved the result!!

For my project I used Dandelion Dreams
Here is a close up of the image , doesn't look lovely?
I used Memento Angel Pink, Tangelo, Bamboo Leaves, Sweet Plum, Lady Bug, Love Letter, Dessert Sand, Dandelion, Cabana (SU)

I stamped the saying on a same cardstock color as my card base.

And this is how it looks like!!

Are you ready to hop along? The Design team has tips/techniques for you! Don't forget to leave a comment as you hop along, one lucky commenter will win a stamp set!! You have until Wednesday September 16 at 5:00PM EST
