Sometimes we get so busy with new released stamps that we forget about our old favorites. The Impression Obsession team has set aside a couple days a month to share some new projects using some great older stamps. You can see the list of today’s participants on the Impression Obsession blog.
I love these 2 images, the Wind Swept Leaves is perfect to create gorgeous backgrounds and the cute Happy Thanksgiving sentiment is just the perfect pair.
Details:
Stamp Wind Swept Leaves on Ivory cardstock in Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo and Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide. Tap and ink different spots of your stamps, turn the stamp and finish a 5.5" x 8.5" piece. I used my Misti so I can get a good impression and do several stampings.
Mist piece with Gold mist.
After it is dry, die-cut panel using Woodgrain Frame and Pinked Edge Frame.
Stamp Happy Thanksgiving on vellum and patterned paper in Brick Ink.
Adhere pieces to a white card base.
Add dew drops to embellish.
