Old is New: Ho Ho Ho

Hello friends!

Sometimes we get so busy with new released stamps that we forget about our old favorites. The Impression Obsession team has set aside a couple days a month to share some new projects using some great older stamps. You can see the list of today’s participants on the Impression Obsession blog

For today's Old is New feature I have a Christmas card, using this super cute Santa Claus.

Details:

Stamp Santa 4 on white cardstock in Black Ink.

Color image with markers, here I used Spectrum Noir Markers.

Fussy cut image, add Sparkle Pen and White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops to suit.

Create background with blue and black ink, just drag the ink on white cardstock until you get the colors you want, super easy way to create fun backgrounds!

Let background dry completely.

Stamp sentiment from Holiday Words Set in Versamark Watermark Ink, then add white embossing powder and heat set.

Note: My piece was not completely dry, BUT love the sparkle effect of the embossing powder {wink, wink}

Die-cut one of the wave edges to create the snow part. (Great way to stretch your dies)
