Adoption is...

Hello my friends!! Today I had a fantastic morning, I went to my daughter's school class and I taught the kids a Christmas card!! They were really excited and had a lot of fun :) After that I took a nap, LOL

Anyway, I want to show you another card I made with the new set "The Gift of You", this card is super CAS, but really pretty, the image is from "Vintage Baby" set. You can pre-order this set now.

Hello my friends!! Hope you are having a great day. Today I have a CAS card for you.
The images from this card are from Latina Crafter. Lately I've been in the CAS mood, and it's good to create something different and not only Christmas stuff, maybe I want Spring back, I want flowers and pretty green grass :)

Directions:
  • Make card base from Red cardstock.
  • Cut a panel from White CS (5" x 3.75").
  • Die-cut grass from Green CS and adhere it to panel, Add zig-zag stitches.
  • Stamp flowers, Add twine and buttons.
  • Stamp sentiment. Add panel to card base.


Card recipe:
  • Cardstock: Red, White, Green (SU)
  • Ink: Lady Bug, Angel Pink, Dandelion, Espresso Truffle (Memento Tsukineko)
  • Stamps: Muchas Gracias, Mi flor favorita (Latina Crafter)
  • Accessories: Pink and Yellow Buttons, Twine, Grass Die (Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps)

Pearls, I love Pearls!!

Hello my friends! It's Thursday and it's cold out here, looks like we are going to have a lot of snow soon!! My daughter can't wait for snow days :)

Today I want to show you a card I made last night at my Stampin' Up Demo's house. We had a Christmas dinner first and then time to work on this project and chat as much as we wanted :)  I love the pearls here, such a unique and beautiful detail.


Here are all the Stampin' Up materials I used: Glossy White, Cherry Cobbler and Brushed Silver Cardstock, Daydream Medallions Set and Floral Frames Dies, Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad, Pearls, Dimensionals.

Others: White Lace Ribbon (Love My Tapes), Scor-tape.

Merry Christmas (CAS)

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great Wednesday, here sure it's cold outside.
So today I have a very "Clean and Simple" card, in fact when I made this card I timed myself to see if it was quick enough :) I will be teaching at my daughter's class next Monday, so timing is very important.
I will make the poinsettia flowers for all the kids, they will just stamp the sentiment and add the Washi Tape, sounds fun right? This took me only 10 minutes to create, I think the kids can do it in 30 :)

So, the dies are Layered Poinsettia from Spellbinders, the saying is from "Christmas Light Set" by Sweet'n Sassy Stamps and the Gold Star Washi Tape is from Latina Crafter.

Christmas Yuletide

Hello my friends!! Christmas is just around the corner, oh my!! Here is another Christmas card using one of my favorites images from Heartfelt Creations. The image was colored with Inktense Pencils, love those pencils, they are super fun to work with.


Instruccions:
  • Make card base from Green Cardstock (5" x 6")
  • Stamp image on Watercolor Paper, color image with Inktense Pencils, then add a little bit of Copic R24 to Poinsettias. Die-cut and emboss image with Labels Eight Dies.
  • Die-cut and emboss the largest Decorative Labels Eight using Red Cardstock. Mat die-cut pieces. Add them to card base with pop dots.
  • Add Star Dust Stickles and liquid pearls to image.
  • Make a triple bow and adhere it to card with Gold Brad.

Happy Birthday Diana!!

Hello my friends!! Today is a very special day, my sweet friend Diana Maldonado, Latina Crafter owner and illustrator, is celebrating a new year of life, yes, it's her birthday!!
I am so honored to be part of her DT, enjoy all the stamps in Spanish and her friendship!  She has the most wonderful Puerto Rican Accent and her voice is sweet, yes I have told her that ans she doesn't believe me, LOL.

Anyway, I sent this card to her few days ago.

The image is "Lily" and it was colored with Spectrum Noir Markers. The sentiment is from "Feliz Dia" set, I also used the new stamps and dies from "Nubes Habladoras"

Noel Card

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great Friday!! Today I have a very pretty and easy Christmas card using Heartfelt Creations stamps.

Directions:
  • Cut card base 5" x 12", score at 6" to get a 5" x 6" card.
  • Cut a panel 4 5/8" x 5 6/8", Distress all edges.
  • Stamp collage image in VersaMark Watermark Ink, apply Gold embossing powder and heat it up.
  • Stamp poinsettias in Versamark Ink, apply gold embossing powder and heat it up. Die-cut them with coordinated dies.
  • Mount poinsettias using 3 for each flower.
  • Sponges and distressed all edges and image and poinsettia edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink.
  • Add flower to card. Add ribbon and pearls.
  • Add panel to card base.

Great Gifts Blog Hop!!



Welcome to the Great Gifts Blog Hop!! Three wonderful business have joined to bring fabulous projects to inspired YOU!!
Gift Tag Box
I got the Great Gifts CD with fantastic tutorials from TJN and decided to make a Gift Tag Box. The tutorial is very easy to follow.
The patterned papers used in this project are from Winter Wishes Collection by Echo Park Paper. I inked all edges of the PP with Walnut Stain Distress Ink, added "blue buttons from Button Gallore. The image from Winter Silhouettes was stamped on a lightweight square coaster in "Faded Jeans Distress Ink, then die-cut it with Labels One Nestabilities and stencil with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Adhered them to top of the box, add a ribbon a Vintage pin.


Here is a close-up of top of the box.


Inside the box: I used my Cricut to cut all the tags. I used images from Poinsettia Set, these were stamped in Barn Door Distress Ink; Winter Silhouettes Set, I stamped the same image in Rusty Hinge Distress Ink, Peeled Paint Distress Ink, Barn Door Distress Ink and Broken China Distress Ink;  and Vintage Ornaments, these were stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed in Gold. I used the same sentiment from Winter Silhouettes Set for and Denim Twine for all the tags.

Perfect Plaids: Beautiful set illustrated by Tami Mayberry. I had an idea for this set, creating another CAS card, but ended up making a tag and I totally love it!!

Directions:
  • Stamp borders on Manila Tag in Versamark ink, add clear embossing powder and heat it up.
  • Sponge tag with Peeled Paint, Barn Door and Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Adhere Manila Tag to a bigger Kraft Tag.
  • Stamp snowflake on a piece of Sandy Beach CS in Memento Pistachio Ink. Die-cut piece with Circle Nestabilities. Ink edges with Walnut Stain Distress. Adhere it to tag. Add little green rhinestone
  • Stamp sentiment in Walnut Stain Distress.
  • Die-cut and emboss a poinsettia and leave using Poinsettia Dies. Add Star Dust Stickles to all edges, add medium green rhinestone.
  • Add ribbon and hemp to tag.


Tag Recipe:
  • Cardstock: Sandy Beach (GKD)
  • Stamps: Perfect Plaids, Simple Snowflakes (GKD)
  • Ink: Barn Door, Peeled Paint, Walnut Stain (Tanger), Versamark (Tsukineko)

Snow One Like You: This is the new "Free with 3". This set has 3 cute images!! I used this cute snowman in another CAS card :)

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock (5" square)
  • Cut panel from Blizzard Patterned Paper. Adhere it to card base.
  • Stamp image on White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black, color image with markers. Stamp snowflakes in Versamark ink, add clear embossing powder and heat it up. Sponges borders with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
  • Draw a line and add Star Dust Stickles.
  • Stamp sentimen on banner and add it to image.
  • Add image to card base with Pop dots.
  • Create a bow with bow easy and add it to card.

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Stamp flower in Memento Sweet Cocoa, color it with markers (Copics Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17, YR16, YG63, 0)
  • Add Stickles to center of flower.
  • Stamp sentiment in Memento Sweet Cocoa.
  • Score a couple of lines on left side.
  • Tie on ribbon.

Sentimental Holidays: Love all the sentiments in this set!! Another CAS card for you.

Directions:
  • Make card base from Kraft Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut  a panel from Ivory Cardstock (3.75" x 5")
  • Cut a piece of Patterned Paper (2.25" x 3.5"), stamp bottom border (images from Warm Woolen Mittens) in Memento Desert Sand and Frayed Burlap Distress Ink, sentiment in Walnut Stain Distress. Adhere it to panel and add zig-zag stitches.
  • Stamp star in Watermark Ink, add gold embossing powder and heat it up. Cut it out.
  • Score lines to right and bottom sides.
  • Add star to panel with medium pop dots.
  • Add pearls.



Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: Kraft, Ivory (GKD)
  • Paper: Bundle Collection (Authentique)
  • Stamps: Sentimental Holidays, Warm Woolen Mittens (GKD)

Lots of Letters: Beautiful set designed by Melanie!! Tons of possibilities. I made a very CAS card using Ivory Cardstock. The image is from Stately Flowers 5. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Bamboo Leaves and Memento Lady Bug. I added Liquid Pearls to the mistletoe and pearls to corners. I little bow from twine. Simple card made in less than 10 minutes!!



Warm Woolen Mittens: Another beautiful set designed by Becky! I love the designs in this set. For my card I used Sandy Beach for my card base. I cut a panel from Patterned paper and added some stitches. For  the mittens I used Microfine glitter  and sticky page, then after the glitter was added I stamped the image and cut them out, I added a silver brad and cream hemp.
The mittens and sentiment were stamped in Ginger Adirondack Ink, the inside od mitten and underline were stamped in Memento Desert Sand.

Alegre Navidad Blog Hop

Hello my friends!! Welcome to another fun Latina Crafter Blog Hop! This time I created a card for you using one of the new Labels Dies and "Labels para Navidad" set.
Hola amigas, bienvenidas a un nuevo Blog Hop de Latina Crafter. En esta ocasión les preparé una tarjetita usando el nuevo Label Uno Die y el set de "Labels para Navidad"

Para esta tarjeta usé uno de los lindos papeles que trae la collección de "Navidad Latina", usé la técnica de distress edges, le agregué 2 tiras de Gold Washi Tape #28 y #77. Corté el die y luego estampé el borde y la paloma en VersaMark Watermark Ink y le agregué gold embossing powder. le agregué un lazo doble, usé el Elegant seam binding o cinta verde. Unas perlitas en las esquinas y la tarjeta esta lista!
Espero que les guste mi tarjeta.

Heartfelt Creations Cards

Hello my friends!! Hope your day/night is fantastic, I have a couple of projects to show you using new stamps just released from the Timeless Amour Collection from Heartfelt Creations.

This is your day Card

Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock. A2 size (4.25" x 5.5")
  • Mat Cranberry Tart Cardstock and Patterned Paper, add stitches and adhere  panel to card base.
  • Stamp floral image onto Patterned Paper in Aged Mahogany Distress Ink., Die-cut, emboss and stencil piece with Labels Eight Die. Mat piece with a Decorative Labels Eight piece in Cranberry Tart.
  • Stamp flowers onto Patterned Paper in Aged Mahogany Distress Ink, die-cut them with coordinated dies. Create flowers using 3 of the smallest flowers together. Add Dries Clear Glue to edges and add Gold Gala Glitz, add flowers to image. Add Glitter to swirls on image.
  • Create a double bow and add a Gold Brad, add it to card.
