I love Pink!!

Hello my friends, I hope you are having a great Sunday!! I just want to show a couple of cards I made few days ago, Sadly, I haven't finished my Moxie Fab World Projects, yesterday I spent almost all day cleaning my house, I spent a lot of time in my daughter's room (organizing her school supplies) and my craft room, did I tell it was a HUGE mess?!?!?!, goodness, now it looks much better, DH told me we need to get more shelves so I can organize all my papers , woo hoo, perhaps a birthday present from him to me? LOL.
Anyway, yesterday we have rain ALL day and today around 2:00pm, the rain started again, pouring like crazy!! the good thing is I don't need to water my plants neither my lawn (wink, wink)

Ok, back into my card projects.

I have a card using an Oz-some Sketch from Heather Scott. I love to play her sketches. For this card I used Gina K. Set "A year of flowers". The BG paper was downloaded from the TAC site (for free!!) the pretty ribbon is from PTI and the button is from my stash. I stamped the rose in Stazon Black and colored it with Watercolor Pencils, then I cut it out and adhered to the CS with Dimensionals. The borders were sponged with Dark Pink Craft Ink.

For my second card I used the sketch from last week FTL at Clean & Simple Blog only the sentiment from Gina K. Set "A year of flowers". I cut 1" squares and also sponged them with Dark Pink Craft Ink. The yummy paper is from American Crafts, so yummy! I added a couple of small Prima flowers on the right bottom side, also some Pink Rhinestones. I stamped the sentiment in a white square and added also Pink Rhinestones.

In other news, I have a couple of prayer requests, you may have heard about them. Two girls and her families having hard times. First, Kate, a little 5 year-old girl struggling with cancer, her story really touched me, my DD is also 5. Jennifer McGuire is having a "Cards for Kate Card Drive" a lot of prizes involved. Second, Paige, a 13 year-old girl who due at an accident, portion of her arm has been amputated. Please, click HEREto read more and how you can help. Blog candy included to.
If you are a prayer person, please pray for them and their families.

Well, it looks the rained has stopped, maybe I should go and take a nap before going to church.

Have a great Sunday and enjoy it with your family.

Cards for Tuong

Hello my friends, I hope you are having a great day. Saturday night we made some plans for yesterday, but anything changed unexpectedly. We were at church and DH was not feeling very well, after our service we returned to home and he took a nap, then another nap and another nap, I was getting really worried because he never sleeps that much. I checked his temperature and it was 102.4, then 103, then 105.4!!! I immediately put some wet cold towels on his forehead, he had a cold bath and after 2 hours!!! he started feeling a bit better, temperature by then 102.4. I don't know what is going on, he just left to visit the doctor this afternoon, please keep him in your prayers.

Anyway, yesterday we didn't go anywhere, so I sat down here and checked SCS and I found a very touching post from Jill : Cards for Tuong. I read the story and touched my heart, I believe no child should suffer, please read her story and I hope you feel the same too. Tuong is from Vietnam and she is now in America to have some check-ups and try to figure it out what's wrong with her lungs. Please keep her in your prayers and if you could send her a card, that would be GREAT!! I already sent her a card and some stickers. You can see how beautiful she is HERE .

If you would like to send her a card, please send a PM to PJill (through SCS) and she will e-mail you the address.

God bless you all!!

Prayer request

Good night everyone, I was just checking my e-mails and a couple of blogs before to turn off the computer and I found this post on Lauren'blog that makes my heart cry. I was thinking to go to bed early, but instead I will spend some time creating so I can send a couple of cards tomorrow morning. These people really need you, a card will make them bright their days.

Cards for Hannah ("Take it from Lauren's blog")
Many of you may remember my dear friend, Chris Garman, who lost her battle with breast cancer 2 years ago. When she was first diagnosed with breast cancer, she was pregnant with her third child. Her doctors didn’t think Chris would live through her pregnancy without treatment, so they took a chance & gave her chemo while she was pregnant. Chris survived her pregnancy & had a beautiful, healthy little girl named Hannah Faith. Chris died when Hannah was three.

Hannah is now five, and this breaks my heart all over again, but In October, Hannah has been diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, a rare and incurable brain tumor. She was given about 12 weeks to live. She was going to be the flower girl in a wedding in May, but was diagnosed A week after she was asked.

Right now she has lost most of her motor skills. She is confined to bed and cannot really do anything or play with the gifts she is getting from people, but she LOVES getting cards - she has gotten so many from people she does not know and just loves to have grandma read about the people who send them and see their pictures and is so proud of all her cards. Her room is just filled with cards.

When asked what she wants for Christmas she said she wants to see how many Christmas cards she can get. Many people have passed this wish along to their churches, prayer groups, friends and family. There are school groups where children are making her cards. People are including pictures so she can see who it is that is sending her the card.

If you would like to help with her wish, please send her a card at:

Hannah Garman
704 Orchard Rd
Lititz, PA 17543

Cards for Baby Francesca:
Baby Francesca was born 2 weeks before her due date and had some complications during her delicery. She is in the NICU and was connected to a ECMO Machine, you can red more about baby Francesca here . Please pray for Francesca and her parents and whole family.

Pray for these families!!
God bless
Giovana

Prayer request for Marcus

Today, browsing into blogland I stopped at Melanie's blog, "Hands, head and heart" and when I was just enjoying all her creations I rolled down and I found this post that touch my heart. I realized how blessed we are having our love ones around us with good health and happiness. Many time we take everything for granted.
I read about Marcus and my heart cried, he has terminal brain cancer, he is blind and partial paralyzed, he knows he is leaving this earth soon, he loves to listen music and loves Batman. I am just writing this to keep in your prayers, I don't know him neither his family, but in our blog land we all are friends and support each other.
You can read more about Marcus and also his cousin Jessica, who has cancer as well, at Nancy's blog Are we having fun yet.

God bless you
Have a great day
Don't forget to give a hug and tell your love one you care and love.
