Love and welcome November!

Hello my friends! Can you believe is November already?!?! Well, in a couple of days I am going to be a year older {and wiser, wink, wink}. DD and DH are preparing something especial for me. I love surprises, don't you?
Anyway, generally speaking I don't stamp on Sunday, but today DH is working and DD is napping, so I decided to have some nice and quiet stamping time. I found a great blog on the web Limelight Papercrafts with a great sketch challenge, and the main focus is Butterflies!!

So here is my take on the sketch: As a background I randomly stamped the big swirl image from Stella Set using Memento Desert Sand, then I sponged the borders with Memento Desert Sand and Buckaroo Blue. The pretty butterfly is from BF-03 Lg-Trio Set, both by smARTworks. The butterfly was heat embossed in gold and then colored it with Memento Desert Sand, Memento Rich cocoa and Adirondack Ginger. To color it, I used mini daubers. I added some mini sticky squares to give the cut out butterfly more dimension. My final touch was the pretty sheer stripe white ribbon.

Card Recipe:
Card Stock: White, Pacific Blue, Bashful Blue.
Stamps: Stella & BF-03 Lg-Trio (smARTworks)
Ink: Buckaroo Blue, Memento Desert Sand, Memento Rich Cocoa, Adirondack Ginger.
Embellishments: Sheer Stripe White Ribbon, Gold Rhinestones (KaiserCrafts).

Accessories: Sewing machine, white thread, daubers, mini sticky squares, mini glue dots, gold embossing powder, embossing heat gun.

I hope you like it.

Have a great Sunday!
