Tea Party Challenge : Stitches ans Ribbon!!!

Hello my friends. It's time for another smARTworks Tea Party Time, my challenge for you was to create a project using "Stitches and Ribbon".
Here are my creations:

So happy for you! : This is a very monochromatic card. For this card I used LOL Set. I stamped the image in Basic Brown Ink and the sentiment was stamped in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink, embossed then using Clear Embossing powder.

Card Recipe:
Card Stock: White, Tan Parchment (The Paper Company).
Paper: SU Bella Rose.
Stamps: LOL by smARTworks.
Ink: Basic Brown, Chocolate Chip Craft.
Embellishments: White Satin Ribbon, Dew drops.
Accessories: Sewing machine, white thread, SU Dimensionals, 3D foam EK-Success, Clear Embossing powder, Embossing gun
.

Happy Birthday: For this card I used Tulip Square Set. I stamped the image and sentiment in a piece of Aida Fabric, this is especial for cross stitch, did I mention that I love cross stitching? I used straight , cross and chain stitches. I waved the ribbon around, positioned on a piece on White CS, then onto a piece of Riding Hood Red and finally onto the card base (Kraft color). I used white thread to go around the Kraft color piece. I had a lot of fun making this card, I usually cross stitch every night when I am watching TV :)
Card Recipe:

Card Stock: Kraft, Riding Hood Red, White.
Stamps: Tulip Square Set.
Embellishments: Green Ribbon, Dew drops.
Accessories: Sewing machine, white thread, Aida Fabric, DMC Thread (red, pink, green), Mini glue dots, 3D foam Ek_Success.

I hope you like my projects and play along too, the keyword is SCTP10 if you upload your creation on any online gallery.
Don't forget to check out the other DT creations: Susan, Dina, Trish, Donelda .

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Have a great day!!

  1. You, my dear, are truly the Queen of Card Stitching! I really love both cards, but your needlework on the aida is amazing!

  2. Wow, these are great! Can't believe you actually stitched the tulips - they look amazing (I used to x-stitch, but must admit that was a hobby that fell to the wayside after I started stamping).

Thanks for such a fun theme, too! :)
