Impression Obsession Challenge: I Adore You

Hello friends!! It is time for another fun Impression Obsession Challenge!! This time is "I Adore You: Valentine" theme.

To enter the challenge go to the  Impression Obsession blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog AND you can to enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing! (IO stamps need to be used)

For this project I used Floral Heart Frame and Love Arrow Dies.
I die-cut both the Floral Heart Frame and Love Arrow 3 times. I kept two of the floral frames without removing the little pieces, I did remove all the die-cut pieces from the top piece, then glued them all together, same with the love arrow.
I adhered the floral frame on top of a piece of vellum, then added foam adhesive behind the largest pars from the frame and adhered the piece to card base.
The love arrow was glued direct to the front panel.
This card is 5" x 5".

Happy Birthday Card

Hello everyone! Hope you are enjoying your Monday, super quiet and relaxed here, my plans are to clean up my craft room, I need to purge a lot of supplies, plus I hope I can get some craft time as well. But for now, let me show you a card I made for a very special lady who just turned 90!!! She is the great grandma of one of the little ones I take care of every day. I was asked if I cold make a card for her, I always ask for anything special they like to have on the card like colors, flowers, etc, and I was told just to create something pretty!!

I asked the great granddaughter and she told me something with purple, so I added purple to the card.

I used this beautiful stamp set from Concord & 9th "Wildflowers", stamped on Ken Oliver Water Media Paper and colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors.
The sentiment was created with dies from Crafter's Companion.

And I am happily joining the 30 Day Coloring Challenge! I don't think I will be joining daily, but I will do my best!!

Hope you like it!
Have a fantastic day!

Home Decor

Hello friends!! Happy Friday to you all!  I had the chance to play with some of the new projects just aired on HSN from Crafter's Companion!
These new flower dies are still available at HSN, so grab them before they are sold out.
For this project I used the Aster and Wallflower, Assorted Leaves and Stamen Die Sets.

I got this cardboard circle from Hobby Lobby, I painted it using black gesso and white acrylic paint. Then, added the rays using gold embossing paste and a stencil.
All the flowers were made using crepe paper, love the way they turned out, the flowers get a more realistic shape than using cardstock (in my opinion), the leaves were made using Shimmering green cardstock.
Added ribbon and purple twine to decorate it.

Close Up

Hope you like it!

Life is beautiful

Hello friends! Hope you all had an amazing week! Sharing today a very feminine card, anytime I make a card now I try to make more than one. So this die really invited me to create a couple of cards using the leftover parts from the border die.

TUTTI-421 Delicate RoseTUTTI-419 Scalloped Stitched Nesting CirclesTUTTI-418 Scalloped Stitched Nesting Rectangles

Let's get started:
  • Adhere Stick It behind the cardstock for easy movement of pieces.
  •  TIP: Use Press'n Seal behind your die-cut, every single piece will stay in place and you will not have a problem moving the little pieces to the opposite color border rose.
  •  Adhere your base die-cut on a piece of white and pink cardstock. Then, start moving the die-cut rose edge first to the opposite background piece, then add the little filling pieces.
  •  Ta-da!!!

Submitting this project to Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Something New  (new dies for me)

Hope you like my project!
Have a fantastic day!

Technique Junkies January 2018 Release!!!

Hello friends!! Happy New Year 2018! And we are here again with a brand new January release from Technique Junkies! We have a brand new collection with lovely images for you!
If you have arrived here from the Technique Junkies Blog, you are in the right place!

I have 3 cards for you today showcasing 5 new stamps!

Card #1:  This card showcases "You are Loved" and "Love Harlequin"
For this card I stamped the "Love Harlequin" background stamp on a piece of Watercolor paper in Versamark Watermark ink, then added White embossing powder and heat set. Sponged the image with Tumble Glass and Worn Lipstick Distress Ink. The sentiment "You are Loved" was stamped on a piece of Clear Vellum in versamark Watermark ink, added gold embossing powder and heat set. I die-cut the piece using Scalloped Stitched Circle Dies, added a white circle piece of cardstock behind vellum and adhered to background with foam tape. Embellished the card with pink and blue rhinestones.

Card #2: This card showcases the "Make a Wish" stamp.
This stamp is a small cute stamp. I cut the star part of the stamp to create the background. I used Red, Pink and Gold Ink, then die-cut the piece with Scalloped Stitched Dies, then I stamped the image on a piece of white cardstock in Red ink (using my MISTI to get the best impression), die-cut the piece with Scalloped Circle dies and adhere it to panel with foam tape. Added twine and sequins to embellish it.

Card #3: This card showcases the "Kitty Duo" and "Truly, Madly, Deeply" stamps.
For this card I stamped the "Kitty Duo" on a piece of watercolor paper in Jet Black ink, then stamped it again in Versamark Watermark and added clear embossing powder, then die-cut the image and sponged the edges. I did the same technique with the sentiment.

Now, I invite you to visit Ceal's blog and check her beautiful creation!!

Don't forget the new release has an instant 15% off until January 8th, no code needed.

Hope you like my projects.
Enjoy the hop.

Have an amazing day and Happy New Year!
