So, I have 3 projects for you today using 4 sets from this new release!

So, my first two projects are super cute! Perfect to send to your favorite Vet :), friends and family.
Here are the two sweet faces :D  Are you a paper hoarder? I used paper from EPP collection from 2011!! Oh my! This pack is one of my favorites ever and I am sad I have few pages left only.

For this card, I used the sweet Christmas dog and sentiment from Gifts of Christmas. I stamped the image on a piece of white cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black using my MISTI. After that, I stamped the image once again in Versamark Watermark and added Clear embossing powder and heat set it, I stamped another image using the same technique just for the hat, colored it with Spectrum Noir markers, then added Crystal Lacquer to the white edge and white Gala Glitz, then covered the rest of the hat with Crystal Lacquer. I let it dry overnight. Create a frame using Square dies and red glitter cardstock, die-cut snowflakes in gold cardstock  and voila!!

For this card I used Christmas Kitty, pretty much did the same as the dog card, the only difference is the stamped image, over I just used Memento Tuxedo Black (no embossing)

And finally a Santa card! For this card I used Santa in Moonlight and the sentiment from Gifts of Christmas. Here I again stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black and then Versamark Watermark and clear embossing powder. then covered the moon area and sponged the image with Tumble Glass and Stormy Sky Distress Inks. Then added a couple of die-cuts and stamped the sentiment in Blue ink.

Now, time to hop over to Chris' blog and check her amazing creations!

My Sweet Petunia and Gina K. Designs Blog Hop

Hello friends! Welcome to another fun collaboration blog hop between Gina K. Designs and My Sweet Petunia!
For today, I have a couple of projects for you, showcasing products from both companies, I have to confess this is my first time stamping since I came back from Peru! (BTW, the craft room is clean and organized now) and it felt really good!

If you arrived here from Donna Idlet, you are in the right place, if not we invite you to start the hop from Gina's blog.

So, let's get started. First I should say I received the Boho Flowers Mini Kit and it is so pretty!
  • First I stamped the images on a piece of White Layering Cardstock and my Original MISTI. As you see, I stamped all the images from the set in Memento Tuxedo Black.
  • Then, I colored the images with Spectrum Noir Markers, here I used LG1, LG3, DG1, DG2, CG2, PP1, PP2, PP3, PP4, PP5, PP6, BT1, BT4, BT5. Then I added a little bit of Clear and Rose Quartz Spectrum Noir Sparkle.

  • For the background I used the Rounded Swirl Stencil to dry emboss the Lovely Lavender cardstock. I die-cut the pieces and added them to the embossed panel. Sentiment stamped and die-cut as well! I added few little drops of Silver Liquid Pearls.

  • For my second card, I stamped the images on a piece of watercolor paper in Versamark Watermark ink, added white embossing powder and heat set the images. Then, I colored them with Spectrum Aqua Markers, here I used: Blossom, Begonia, Leaf Green, Aquamarine. After the images were dried, I die-cut them using the coordinated dies.
  •  For the front of the card, I used the stencil again, this time with Metallic Silver Embossing Paste and just in the lower corner area. Set aside to dry and then added the die-cut elements.
  • Here it is a view of the pieces added to the card.

Now, your next stop is Beth Silaika.

Hello, I am back!

Hello everyone! How is everybody doing? As you can see, my posts for the last month were just few, well, I went on vacation for a whole month to my beautiful Peru! It was really nice to see their faces again after more than 12 years. I had the most amazing time with my family, I ate all the food I can't get/find here in the US, I enjoyed the long talks and stayed up until late. It was hard to leave, but I am already planning my next trip, hopefully soon.

We came back last Tuesday, but I had to deal with laundry, yard work, unpacking (goodness!!) and work!! I am working on new projects for upcoming releases plus a couple of fun blog hops!

So, now you know why my post were just few, sharing with you few of the many pictures I have from my trip. (I survived with cellphone pictures, my beautiful Nikon had an accident and now it's resting in peace, but don't worry, I already got a new camera, it is a Canon and I love it!)

Have an amazing day!!

Amazing Grace

Hello friends! Today, I am showcasing a couple of sets from the new Technique Junkies August release.
I combined "Coral" and "Amazing grace", this card turned out super prettier, I think my pictures don't do justice, but I have a step by step process on how I did it.
  • Create a banner from the vellum piece, die-cut a gold border and sew them together on a piece of Gold cardstock.
  • Add front panel to a cream cardstock card base. Embellish with blue and clear rhinestones.

Hope you like it a give it a try. In case you want to get new stamps (not the new release) and other special goodies, use my code to get a 10% off (yay)

Have a fantastic day!!

Believe in Yourself

Hello friends!! Sharing with another project I created for Crafter's Companion on HSN show!! These dies sold out in minutes! But the possibilities with theses are endless.
I die-cut the letter from Red and Black Shimmering cardstock, created a splash background using Spectrum Aqua and Spectrum Sparkle markers, then adhered the letter on the background piece. Decorated the card with black rhinestones.

You can read the sentiment like "Be You" and "Believe in Yourself"

Hope you like it!
Have a fantastic day!!

Fluff your Tutu!

Hello friends! How are you all doing? Hope you are enjoying the warm weather and having an enjoyable Summer. For today, I have a super fun project using a brand new stamp, just released! This new "Fluff your Tutu" stamp is one of the newest and cutest stamps I've ever seen in a while. I decided to create a tutu and I have few pictures to show you how I did it, let's get started.
  • Stamp the image on a piece of smooth white cardstock, here I color the image with a pink marker. Cut a piece of white tulle, fold it the way you like it and add stitches.
  •  Color the tulle with a marker. TIP: I will suggest you to color the tulle before adding the stitches, it dries super fast.
  • Braid some twine that coordinates with the color of your tulle.
  •  Hot glue the braided twine on top of the sewed tulle tutu.
  • This is how your tutu will look, so fluffy and cute {wink, wink}

To finish my card, I dry embossed the front of my card base and added a piece of pink shimmering cardstock behind the image.

Remember, you can get the new stamps with a 15% discount until August 8th and if you like any other stamp from previous releases, you can use my code to get a 10% discount.

Hope you like it.
Have a fantastic day!!

Technique Junkies August Release is here!!

Hello friends! Welcome to another fantastic Technique Junkies August Release!! Oh goodness, this month the release is another great one, the stamps are beautiful and you are gonna want to buy everything.
If you have arrived here from Vicki's blog you are in the right place, if not, please go to the Technique Junkies blog to check out the right order.

Let me show a couple of cards I made with 3 new sets: Coral, Never Stop Flying and Savannah Girrafes.

Project #1: For this card I used Coral for the background. I stamped the image on a piece of watercolor paper in Versamark Watermark ink, added Bridal Embossing Tinsel Powder and heat set, then sponged Rusty Hinge Distress Ink. Added a piece of rusty cardstock and added stitches. Die-cut the lower border. Then stamped the Never Stop Flying on a piece of clear vellum in Versamark Watermark ink and added gold embossing powder. added the background panel and added stitches. Stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and die-cut it with label dies. Added panel to a 6"x6" card, to embellish it I added a die-cut butterfly.

============================================================

Project #2: I have to confess that this "Savannah Giraffes" set is one of my favorites from this release. This project was super easy to make.I stamped the giraffes in a piece of watercolor paper in Stazon Jet Black ink, I used my MISTI, so I stamped the image 3 times to get a perfect coverage. Then, I used Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers (or any watercolor medium you have): Gold, Sunset, Heather Kingfisher and Marine to color the background. I die-cut a frame using rectangle dies and added it on the image and added adhered it to a 6"x6" white card base. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tangelo Ink.

Now, I invite to hop over to Chris' blog and check out her amazing creations.

Have fun hopping and shopping!!
