Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps January Release Blog Hop Day 5: Cute Critters.

Hello my friends!! Welcome to our last day of Blog Hops. Today we are featuring:

Cute Critters

The first time I saw the images in this set I knew I wanted to make a cat's couple card, :) I think they are adorable!!

Directions:
  • Make card base from Kraft Cardstock. A2 size.
  • Add a piece of Patterned paper to the bottom part, round bottom corners.
  • Stamp cats onto White Cardstock, color them with markers. Cut out one of the cat's tail, and adhere it to the other side. Add eye lashes and ink edges of tail.
  • Adhere images to die-cut heart and add them to card.
  • Add twine and pom-pom ribbon, add rhinestones.


Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: Kraft, Pink, White
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Barn Door Distress, Copic Markers.
  • Embellishments: Dark Pink Rhinestones, Twine, Pom-pom Ribbon.
  • Accessories: Pop dots, Heart Die (Heartfelt Creations)

Directions:
  • Make card base from Green Cardstock. 5.5" square
  • Cut a panel from Ivory Cardstock, Add a strip of Patterned Paper. Adhere it to card base.
  • Die-cut Blossom Corner from Green Cardstock and adhere it to card base.
  • Stamp image on Ivory Cardstock in Espresso Truffle Ink. Color image with Copic Markers. Cut out top fence and then die-cut the image with Wonky Rectangles Nestabilities. Adhere it to card.
  • Make a bow, add gold brad and adhere it to card.
  • Stamp sentiment and adhere it to card with staples.

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps January Blog Hop Day 3: Cocoa's Heart

Hello my friends, welcome to day 3 of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Blog hops. Today we are featuring:

  • Includes 2 image and 4 sentiments
  • Set measures approximately 4"x4"
  • Cocoa in the heart frame image measures approximately 2 1/8" x 1 3/4"

This set is super sweet, don't you think?

This is the card I created for you today. Last night I couldn't sleep so I decided to watercolor few images, and this is one of them :) I used Watercolor Pencils and Inktense Pencils by Derwent. These pencils are a lot of fun to use and I love the results!!

Directions:
  • Make card base from White Cardstock A2 size.
  • Emboss a panel from White Cardstock using Fancy Fan Embossing folder (SU), mat this piece with a slightly bigger piece of Red Cardstock. Add piece to card base.
  • Stamp image on Watercolor paper in Archival Black Ink, color image with pencils. Die-cut and emboss image with Label 8 Dies. Mat piece with a Floral Label 8 in Red panel. Add to card.
  • Stamp sentiment on a circle pink piece in Archival Black Ink. Stamp heart in Pink Ink and ink all edges. Add to card.
  • Add pink rhinestones.
  • Cover heart with Crystal Lacquer.

Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: White, Red, Watercolor Paper.
  • Ink: Archival Black (Ranger), Watercolor Pencils, Inktense Pencils (Derwent)
  • Embellishments: StarDust Stickles, Pink Rhinestones.
  • Accessories: Label 8 Nestabilities, Floral label 8 (Spellbinders), Fancy Fan Embossing folder (SU),  Pop dot

  • Stamp image in Memento Bahama Blue Ink and sentiment in Archival Black Ink.
  • Add panel to card base. Make a triple bow, add twine and paper flower. Add it to card.

Best Wishes
I made this card thinking about me, LOL. Why? Because I am slow (but not as cute) as this little turtle and I've been wishing myself best wishes. Being sick is not fun, my mojo is far far away, but I am trying to make it to come back.

Anyway, this card is very cute and simple. I stamped the cute turtle on Kraft CS in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored it with Markers and then added Stickles. The green PP is from Cosmo Cricket (I think is retired now), I added pink scallop, pearls, a paper flower and ribbon, few stitches and Voila!!

Hello my friends! Hope you have started your year with health and lots of crafty time! I've been sick since Dec. 25th, trying to get better and back into the stamping mood.

Hello!

Hello my friends! Hope you all had a great Christmas/Holiday time. We had plans for Christmas and we were very excited, but things happened and we all stayed at home SICK!!
We had to take our daughter to the ER with a 105.9 fever, we were really worried, after tests and waiting we found out she had the FLU!! She was really sick poor thing, this is the first time experiencing the flu, lots of night without sleeping, not a good thing.
Two days ago, my husband and I started feeling sick as well, so we are all sick now, we didn't go anywhere for Christmas, but we stayed together in good and bad times, LOL.
Since my daughter was sick, I worked on a couple of projects for the Spellbinders Craft Contest, the gallery has beautiful creations, I honestly thought I didn't have any chance, but I got a Honorable Mention, which makes me very happy :)

This is the project: I crocheted the baby hat and used several Spellbinders Dies as well as a couple of Heartfelt Creations Dies (manufactured by Spellbinders)


Also, as soon as I get more energy, I will start sorting lots of Stamps Sets I haven't used in awhile, lots of Gina K. Designs, and other brands, stay tuned! They are going to be very cheap!!

Have a beautiful day Tag

Hello my friends, hope you all had a fantastic Christmas time!! Time to show you a pretty tag I made with Heartfelt Creations Stamps!

Directions:
  • Stamp Vintage Background on both tags in Versamark Ink, add clear embossing powder and heat it up.
  • Ink all edges of large tag  with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
  • Sponge Medium Tag with Aged Mahogany Distress, Mustard Seed Distress, Peeled Paint Distress Inks. Die-cut and emboss a border in Yellow CS, adhere it to Medium Tags and adhere it to Large Tag.
  • Stamp Vintage floret flowers on patterned Paper, die-cut, ink all edges and mount them all. Add glue to all edges and adhere glitter. Add pearl to center and adhere flower to tag.
  • Stamp sentiment on Ivory Cardstock, die-cut, emboss and stencil it with Labels Ten Nestabilities. Adhere it to tag with pop dots.
  • Add Ribbons.

Hola

Hello my friends!! I have a really cute and CAS card for you today. Latina Crafter every Friday shows cute projects with the "Set of the Week" and this week it's
"Retro" set, this set has really cute images.



I used only the van and colored it with markers and added some cute Chevron Washi Tapes!! (#90, 91, 92) Love the bright colors of them.
The sentiment is from the set "Amiga" (not released yet)

I covered the hearts with Ruby Liquid Pearls and added Star Dust Stickles to the van lights. My last embellishments was Green Twine.

To a Beautiful You

Hello my friends!! Hope you are having a fantastic day!! I have a a very pretty card using the fantastic stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations.


Instructions:
  • Make card base from Ivory Cardstock. 5.5" square card.
  • Cut a panel from Patterned Paper (5.25" Square), cut a panel from cardstock (4.25" square), mat together, ink all edges and add stitches.
  • Stamp sentiment in Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.
  • Die-cut heart  and adhere it to panel.
  • Stamp flowers on Patterned Paper, die-cut and mount them together. Add Dries Clear Glue to edges and add Gold Gala Glitz. Add flower to card.
  • Create a bow and add it to card.
  • Add pearls.
