Heartfelt Creations Projects!!

Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great Wednesday. Today, I want to show the projects I sent as a Semi-finalist for Heartfelt Creations and gave me a spot to the Design Team.

 Horses Trio
Directions:
  • Make card base from Ivory cardstock. A2 size.
  • Cut a piece of Patterned Paper  (4" x 5.25"), ink all edges and distress. Add straight and zig-zag stitches. Adhere it to card base.
  • Cut a piece of Ivory Cardstock, ink all edges and distress. Add straight and zig- zag stitches. Adhere it to card base. Tie on hand-dye ribbon, make a bow and add horse shoe. Add Crystal Lacquer.
  • Horse Shoe: Die-cut 3 times the horse shoe, glue them together. Before applying the Crystal Lacquer, make a little hole using a needle and tie it together, then add it to ribbon :)
  • Image: Stamp small horse onto Watercolor Paper  in Walnut Stain Distress Ink, add Clear Embossing powder and heat it up. Die-cut a small horse and use it to cover previous horse and stamp the others. Repeat embossing technique.
  • Color horses with Inktense Watercolor Pencils.
  • Clouds: Create a little template and use it to repeat and sponge clouds on Watercolor Paper.
  • Ink all edges and add a piece of slightly bigger piece of Brown Cardstock.  Add straight stitches.
  • Adhere image to card base with foam tape.


Card Recipe
  • Cardstock: Ivory, Brown (GKD), Watercolor Cardstock.
  • Patterned Paper:  Frieda from English Rose Collection (Kaiser Craft)
  • Stamps: Western Bronco (Heartfelt Creations)
  • Ink: Walnut Stain Distress  (Ranger Industries)
  • Embellishments: Hand-dye ribbon.
  • Accessories: Western Broncos Dies (Heartfelt Creations), Paper distresser (CTMH), Scor-tape, Sewing machine, Sponges, Foam Tape, Inktense Watercolor Pencils.
Turquoise Farm
Directions:
  • Make card base from Neutral Cardstock. 6" x 6" square card.
  • Cut a piece of Neutral Cardstock (5.5" square). Distress and ink all edges, add stitches. Adhere panel to card base.
  • Die-cut and emboss a piece of Kraft Cardstock using Decorative Window Die. Adhere it to card base.
  • Stamp Farm Image onto Neutral cardstock in Bahama Blue Memento Ink. Die-cut, emboss it using Label 1 Nestabilities Dies. Stencil image with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
  • Adhere image to card base with foam tape.
  • Adhere floral Ribbon.
  • Die-cut and emboss a piece of Ivory Cardstock using Vine Die from Western Bronco Dies. Adhere it to card.
  • Die-cut Little Posies flowers from Layered Scalloped Posy Die using Turquoise Cardstock. Adhere them to vine and add White Gala Glitz.
  • Inside:  Cut a piece of Neutral Cardstock (5.5" square), ink all edges. Stamp Sentiment in Bahama Blue Memento Ink and farm on right bottom corner in Summer Sky. Adhere inside on card. 



 Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock: Neutral, Turquoise (Stampin' Up), Ivory (GKD), Kraft (LSS)
  • Stamps:  Morning on the Farm (Heartfelt Creations)
  • Ink: Memento Bahama Blue, Memento  Summer Sky (Tsukineko), Tumbled Glass Distress, Tea Dye Distress (Ranger Industries)
  • Embellishments: Floral Turquoise Ribbon (Prima), White Gala Glitz, Star Dust Stickles (Ranger)
  • Accessories: Decorative Window Die, Western Bronco Dies, Layered Scalloped Posy Die (Heartfelt Creations), Grand Calibur, Labels 1 Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Sewing machine, Sponges, Paper distresser (CTMH), Foam tape.

  2. Very nice cards! I love the distressed papers and ribbon with the stitching and horseshoe charm on the first and I like the stamped barn inside the second one to match the front. :)

  3. ever heard of Frederic Remington ? you horse trio card reminds me of his work . It hangs in the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth,TX . you might want to look at it sometime...
