Happy Birthday!

Hello friends!
Hope you all are having a great day!
Very wet and windy in this side of the PNW, keeping me inside and warm ;)
I have a very upset dog right now, he wants to go for a walk, but it's raining!
As soon as I open the door he refuses to move and if he makes it outside, then he sits on the walkway and refuses to walk, but still he will throw a fit because he wants to go for a walk, lol!

Anyway, I have been quite busy lately making a lot of cards, special orders and this one is one of those cards.

Happy Birthday
Very simple card to make!

Details
Position Ruby Rose and Happy Hybrid Rose on your Misti and stamp on watercolor paper in light ink,
color images with your favorite watercolor medium, here I used Distress Inks and Spectrum Aqua Markers. Set aside to dry or use your heat gun to speed the process.
Position your colored images back on your Misti and stamp them again with Versamark Watermark Ink, then add gold embossing powder and heat set, fussy cut images and set aside.
Cut a white panel, stitch the borders with Die and stencil the center with Ribbon Weave Stencil.
Stamp Happy Birthday sentiment in Rose Ink (this was a partial stamping)
Adhere panel to a 5" x 5.5" white card base with foam adhesive.
Adhere roses with foam adhesive.

Have a great day!

Old is New: Thanksgiving Blessings

Hello friends!
Sometimes we get so busy with new released stamps that we forget about our old favorites. The Impression Obsession team has set aside a couple days a month to share some new projects using some great older stamps. You can see the list of today’s participants on the Impression Obsession blog.

I have a Thanksgiving card with a very cool background.

So let's get started.
Create a background blending Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint, Fossilized Amber and Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide Inks.

Stamp Leaf 2 on blended panel in Vintage Photo Distress Oxide, then mist panel with shimmering spray.
Note: Once it dried, it looked really opaque, so I stamped the leaf again all over the panel in Green Ochre Ink, still looked very opaque so the last round of stamping was Sepia Archival Ink.

Trim panel in 2 stamp Thanksgiving Blessings sentiment in Versamark Watermark, then add White embossing powder and heat set.
Add foam tape to panel and adhere it to a ivory card base.
Add Copper Penny Nuvo drops to embellish.

New feature category is Giving Thanks, you get an instant 25% off!!
The sentiment I used for my card is on sale!!
Sale ends Nov. 15th.

Hope you like my card!

Sweet friend

Hello friends!
I have a  sweet card for you today!

For this card I used the new Sweet as Honey set from the Buzzworthy Collection from Spellbinders!
I used few of the stamps from this set, so cute and lots of possibilities.

Details:
Stamp images on white cardstock in light ink color, color them with marker, I used Copics here.
Do not remove images from your Misti, you will restamp the images again with versamark watermark and gold embossing powder, let fussy cut out them.
On a white card base, just drag your ink pads, have fun! Doesn't have o be perfect, love this way to make my own backgrounds.
Die-cut a circle on a white cardstock panel, adhere images around.
Die-cut a small circle and stamp Sweet friend in Versamark Watermark and gold embossing powder.
Adhere a piece of vellum behind the white panel
Adhere sentiment on card base, then adhere white panel with foam tape.
Adhere the little bee on vellum side.
Add enamel dots to embellish.
