Impression Obsession October Release Day 1


Welcome to the October Release Hop!

October 15th - October 16th the Impression Obsession Team will be sharing projects with the NEW October Release stamps, dies, stencils and paper packs! You can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog each day through the event.
We will be giving away THREE Impression Obsession $25 gift certificates for the event so the more you comment through our Release Celebration the more chances to win!
I have a couple of projects for you using new products!

'Tis the season for baking
Ready to make all the baking goodies for Christmas?
Well, you will need these die and stamp sets, perfect for all the Holiday baking goodies!
Details:
Die-cut Large Frosted Cookies from cream cardstock, color the inside shapes and blend light brown ink on all the border edges.
Create a frame panel using paper from Winter Fun and All in One Frames Rectangle 2 die set.
Adhere a piece of transparency film (or thick plastic) behind frame.
Stamp sentiment from Christmas Baking on a banner in Cherry Ink.
Tie red and green twine on tag and add it to frame.
Add Winter foliage die-cuts.
Adhere Large Frosted Cooking on front card.
Adhere frame to card with foam adhesive.

A Season of Thanks
Love how this card turned out!
Simple design with vibrant colors and very easy to make.

Details
Create a background panel by blending Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide on white cardstock. 
Mist gold shimmer, add specks of white gouache.
Die-cut piece with Stitched Slimline Layers 2.
Stamp sentiment from Happy Thanksgiving set on left side in Stazon Ganache Ink.
Die-cut pumpkins in gold cardstock and maple leaves in cardstock paper, blend inks on leaves, both are from Seasonal Cupcake Toppers.
Adhere them to panel.
Adhere panel to a glittery gold Pinked Mini Slimline panel.

Fall Fun

 Hello friends!

Every month the Impression Obsession Design Team is showcasing a theme day,
this month out theme is "Fall Fun"

I have 2 cards using the new October Kit.
These cards have a similar concept, different embellishments.


Give Thanks
Blend Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide on white cardstock.
Stamp images in Chocolate Ink (ink color will change because of the Distress Oxide, 
I found out ;)
Trim piece in angle, add orange cardstock and die-cut panel with Crazy Stitched Set.
Stamp sentiment in Chocolate Ink.
Adhere a white scallop border and gold piece.
Stamp image on white cardstock in Chocolate ink and fussy cut it out.
Adhere panel to a white card base.
Add fussy cut piece with foam adhesive.
Add pearls to embellish.

Happy thanksgiving
Background was made the same as previous card.
Stamp sentiment in Ganache Stazon Ink.
Stamp image on rust color cardstock, fussy cut out 
Mist panel ad cut out piece with Gold Shimmer mist.
Adhere panel to a rust card base.
Adhere a white frame (from All-in-One Frames Rectangle 2)
Adhere fussy cut piece with foam adhesive.
Embellish card with black rhinestones.

More Autumn Projects with the October IO Kit


Welcome to the October Limited Edition Red Rubber Kit Blog Hop!
October 1st & 2nd the Impression Obsession Team will be sharing new projects with the NEW October Limited Edition Red Rubber Kit You can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog each day through the event.
This kit has beautiful images, perfect for your Fall and Thanksgiving projects!

I have a couple of cards for you today, I did some water coloring on them.
Cornucopia Thanksgiving
Stamp Cornucopia image on watercolor paper in Chocolate Ink.
Color image with a watercolor medium, here I used Spectrum Aqua Markers.
Die-cut image with Wacky Stitched Circles, 
keeping the die in place blend yellow ink.
Stamp sentiment in Cherry ink.
Score all sides of from white card.
 Adhere image to card with foam adhesive.
Add pearls to corners.
Card size 5" x 5"

Turkey Thanksgiving
Stamp turkey and sentiment in Chocolate Ink on watercolor paper.
Color image with watercolor markers.
Die-cut panel Crazy Stitched Set.
Die-cut Tags from Fall Floral Paper and Small Tags.
Die-cut buttons using Half Inch Buttons die (here I glued 4 together)
Add tags and button to card.
Adhere Fall Floral paper to card front, then add panel with foam adhesive.
Embellish with dew drops and sequins.
Card size: 4.75" x 6"

Autumn Projects with the new October IO Kit!

Autumn Blessings

Cut a panel from White cardstock 4" x 4".
Position panel on a stencil and start stamping the leaves in Cocoa Ink.
After that, color images with alcohol markers (I used Spectrum Noir and Copics)
Adhere orange panel behind stamped wreath
Add stitches to all sides with Border Stitching Die.
Die-cut a circle piece from Vellum using Wacky Stitched Circles.
Die-cut a smaller circle to adhere it behind vellum one.
Stamp Sentiment in Chocolate Ink, set aside to dry.
Adhere panel on a 5" x 5" white card base with foam adhesive.

Take Time to Give Thanks
Very simple and quick card to create,
perfect to mass producing.

Stamp the corn bundle in Chocolate Ink on white cardstock covering the panel with the image.
Adhere panel to an orange card base.
Add a strip of glittery gold on panel.
Mist front of card with Gold shimmery spray.
Stamp Sentiment in Orange Ink on white cardstock,
die-cut piece with the smallest slimline die from Stitched Slimline Layers,
trim side to fit card front.
Adhere sentiment to card with foam adhesive.
Add pearls to card.
