Impression Obsession Challenge: Sending Hugs

Hello friends!!!

Welcome to another fun Impression Obsession Challenge, Christmas is just around the corner and sometimes we need quick and easy Christmas cards, well, that is our challenge this time "Sending Hugs"

This is the card I made for you today.

I have to confess I had a totally different idea for this project, but I really love how this turned out.

Stamps used on this project:

Details:

Stamp Three Little Birds image on white cardstock in Jet Black Ink, color image with alcohol markers (Spectrum Noir Illustrators used here). Fussy cut image, add little dots of White gel pen.

Add Rhubarb Crumble Nuvo Drops to birds' tales.

Create the background blending Distress Oxides Inks (Worn Lipstick, Peeled Paint, Fossilized Amber) on watercolor paper.

Stamp Mandala in Goldenrod Ink, then stamp Leaf image in Lime Ink.

Adhere panel to white card base.

Add Dandelion Yellow, Crushed Grape and Simple White Gloss Nuvo drops to embellish the card.

Adhere birds to card with foam tape.

Here you can see the stamped background much better.

Technique Junkies March Release is here!!

Hello friends!!

Welcome to another fun release from Technique Junkies.

This month we have wonderful floral images, also lovely and humorous stamps, a little bit for every style.

I have 4 projects for you today!! I have so much fun coloring them, I couldn't stop ;)

So, let me show you the projects I have for you.

Pretty Pots

This card was the easiest to make!

Details:

Mist a piece of watercolor paper with Gold Shimmering Bliss Topper.

Stamp the Pretty Pots Background in Orange Ink, since I used watercolor paper I stamped the image several times using my MISTI.

Die-cut background and adhere it to an orange card base.

Stamp sentiment from In Full Bloom Sentiments on white cardstock in Black Ink, trim and adhere it to card with foam adhesive.

Embellish card with a red button and twine.

Easter Basket

Isn't this cute basket just too adorable?!! Love cute Easter images and this one is one of them.

Details:

Stamp the cute Easter Basket on white cardstock in Brown Ink. Color image with markers, then add little lines and dots with a white gel pen. Add Wink of Stella to add shimmer to the basket, eggs and chicken (sorry, it doesn't show up well in the picture)

Die-cut image. Add Nuvo drops!! (I am obsessed, lol)

When Nuvo drops are dried, add Meadow Flower Soft.

Create a background piece on a piece of watercolor paper and Shimmering bliss! Just spray your shimmering bliss on an acrylic block then press it to the paper, fantastic and easy results!

Die-cut piece, stamp Happy Easter in Cherry Ink.

Love in the City

This is for sure a very lovely image!

This image is called Love in the City! Love he vintage style of the image.

Details:

Stamp the image on white cardstock in Sienna Ink.

Then make the image pop stenciling around, yeah! Really makes a big difference :)

Stamp To the Moon Sentiment in Cherry Ink.

Die-cut panel and add it to a gray card base.

Tulip Background

Gorgeous tulips! Just wait to see the DT projects using this image, they are gorgeous!

Details:

Stamp Tulip Background image on white cardstock in Black Ink, color image with alcohol markers, then add color pencils to add more detail. Die-cut image.

Stamp sentiment from In Full Bloom Sentiments on a piece on vellum in Black Ink, then add clear embossing powder and heat set.

Die-cut sentiment and adhere it to Tulip Background panel.

Add panel to card base.

To embellish it, add nuvo drops, gold stickles to flower centers and Wink of Stella.

Ink Blot Shop and My Sweet Petunia Collaboration

Let me show you the projects I have for you today.

Sending Lots of Love

For this card I used Marvelous Mask Heart stencil and the adorable hearts from Heart Dot Star Background.

Position watercolor paper, stencil then the stamp and ink it up in Versamark Watermark, then add Gold Embossing powder and heat set.

Blend the heart part with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.

Then, cover the heart with the negative part and stamp the background with the circle stamp ink Mist Ink, then mist the background with Imperial Yellow Shimmering Bliss.

Die-cut the panel, stamp the sentiment on red cardstock in Versamark Watermark Ink and gold embossing powder, then heat set. Die-cut piece and add it to the center of the embossed heart.

Embellish with Nuvo drops.

You are so loved

I had a lot of fun creating this card, so sweet and the cute couple are just adorable!

Stamp the cute couple from Little Something Set on white cardstock in Black Ink. Color images with markers, here I used Spectrum Noir Illustrator, add a little extra to the dress and hair with Chameleon Pencils.

Cover the glasses and the bow with Crystal Lacquer, set aside to dry.

Create a background with the stars from Heart Dot Star Backgrounds set, stamp the sentiment on top right in Black ink.

Card size is 5.25" x 5.25"
