A flower for you.

Happy Saturday my friends. I hope you are having a great day. I am enjoying Summer Time. DD and I are enjoying the pool daily, playing there is so much fun even when the water is not too warm, LOL. DD doesn't care a bit. I am getting a good tan color, but I've been wondering if I really need it :) (I was born with tan color, LOL)
Anyway, I have a cute card for you today using Kazan's sketch 30 from 2 Sketches 4 You. For my card I used Prima flowers (Painterly Petals), the yummy Lemon Grass Ribbon is from Offray, the beautiful paper is from My Mind's Eye and the sentiment is from SU Vases in Vogue (retired).

Color Challenge Something : Pink , Green & Yellow!!

Hello again my friends my friends. I have another cute card for you today. This time is for Stamp Something Challenge. This week our challenge is a Color Challenge: Pink, Green & Yellow!! Cute summery colors and it is sponsored by Peachy Keen Stamps. Have you visited the store yet? Well, you should, they have super cute images!!!
For my card I used one of the cute faces from Funny Flowers Set. I started my card with a piece of Kiwi Kiss as my card base. I sewed together a piece of Yellow CS and Critter Chatter PP. Then I added some yummy Pink Ribbon from PTI. I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS, then I added some yellow glitter on the flower's petals and green glitter on the leaves. The sentiment is from SU Vases in Vogue (retired).

Mothers & Daughters Creations Friday Challenge: A sketch challenge

Hello my friends and Happy Friday. I hope you are having a great day. Today on MDC is a Sketch Challenge Day. This week we are playing with Sketch #27 from 52 Sketches/52 Weeks. This sketch is originally for a scrapbook page, but I accommodated it to fit into my card design.
I started my card with a piece of Kiwi Kiss as a card base. Then I add some Real Red and Bridgeport Tennis Court Paper from SEI, I distressed both. Then I stamped this cute Mouse from Stampavie, colored it with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I added some Gold Stickles on the Christmas Ball. The sentiment is from Snowy Jo Collection -Imaginisce and was stamped on White CS using Real Red Ink. The borders were sponged using Green Ink. I also added some ribbon is from May Arts ON SALE NOW!!! and a cute glittery Christmas Tree at the bottom.

Purple, Black + 2 colors!!

Happy Friday my friends. I hope you are having a great day. Now, it's time for another Mother's & Daughters Creations Challenge "Purple, Black + 2 more colors" I created a cute and easy card and my 2 other colors are: White and Green. I started with a piece of White CS as my card base. I cut a piece of Bridgeport Garden Tour Paper (SEI) and sponged the border with Plum Ink. I cut a piece of Black CS (Core'Dinations), this CS is a double side color, I put his piece in my Cuttlebug and then sanded it. Super cool!! Then I stamped the bird using the other side of the PP, then cut it out. The branch is also part of the PP, just cut it out and positioned it there. Finally I stamped the sentiment on the left bottom corner and added the ribbon.

Mothers & Daughters Creations Friday Challenge

This is my second post, I hope you enjoy this too. Last Friday I posted a Baby Shower Favor thinking it was the deadline and I was wrong, it was TODAY!! Oh well, I didn't want to skip the challenge, so I created a Baby card to match the Baby Shower Favor :) I created the Baby word and the stars shapes using my Cricut machine, the nI sponged the borders with Plum Ink.

Baby Shower Favor.

Hello again!! I have another project to show you today. Mothers & Daughters Creations has changed the challenge day for Friday. So this time our challenge was to create a Birthday or Baby Shower Favor. I decided to create this cute Baby Show and filled it with Chocolate Kisses.
For this project I used Baby Powder- Cutie Patootie Paper from Imaginisce, Prima flowers, cute Pink Rhinestones by Kaiser Crafts and some White Ribbon (Offray). I sponged the borders with Plum Ink (Color Box)

Card stock: Pink Pirouette

MDC Thursday Challenge: Paper Piecing!!

Happy Thursday everyone, I hope you are doing great. Here the Smith family has allergy problems, yikes!! Poor DD, anytime she goes outside, her eyes get so itchy, that's not fun at all. DH has the same problem and I have a combination of allergies and asthma problem, oh well, so far no more problems, so we are surviving, LOL.

Anyway, welcome to another MDC Challenge, this time is: Paper Piecing!! I made a very bright and green card (literally). I stamped the cute girl on White CS using Basic Brown Ink, I also stamped the same image in a piece of Magenta Paper :Printemps Passion - Spring Rhapsody. I cut out the dress and positioned it on the main image. I also cut from the same paper the butterfly and the pink leaves. The green polka dot is from SEI: Bridgeport Tennis Court. I added some Copper Sitckles to the head band and the heart pocket. The rhinestones are form Kaiser Crafts. The image was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS.

MDC Thursday Challenge: Layers!!

Hello my friends!! Thursday is MDC Challenge day. Our challenge this week is to create a card with a popped up or layered image. For my card I used Baby Powder-Fuzzy Jammies paper from Imaginisce, this is a double sided card stock, I used both sides for this card. The image is Giraffe Snag'em Collection from Imaginisce Stamps, stamped 3 times and layered. I also used Aqua Rhinestones from Kaiser Crafts and White Opal Liquid Pearls from Ranger and a lot of stitches!!

I used the Sketch #15 from Card Patterns

Happy Birthday!

Hello my friends!! Second post today to show you a quick and cute Happy Birthday card. Next Monday is my oldest sister Birthday. She is the awesomest sister ever. She is like a second mom for me!! I love and miss her very much, although we talk online quite often. I wish I could be in Peru and give a HUGE HUG!! This card is for you Patty!!

My card is base on a sketch from GCD Studios. My card is 7" x 3.5". I used Swirls Paper from Chianti Collection (GCD STudios) as my Back ground and added a piece of White CS on top, I sponged the borders with Real Red Ink. I also cut a long piece of the same paper and folded and added the ribbon attached with staples. The flowers are from Prima: Urban Painterly Petals. Sentiment is from smARTworks Stamps: Tulip Square Set. The rhinestone is from Target $ spot.

Mustang

Hello my friends, Are you enjoying your Saturday? I hope you are. I have a horse card for you today. I made this card using another sketch from Card Patterns. Wow, I think I played Sketches all week!! For this card I used Mustang stamp, I colored it with Prismacolor pencils and Colorless Blender pencil. The paper is Rhubarb Tart from Memory Box. The Rhinestones are form the $ post from Target. I need to go again and get more, LOL.

For You!

Hello my friends, I have a cute card for show today. I played the sketch challenge at Card Patterns and also the Friend Challenge at Fun-Frilled Blog. When I started making this card I didn't like it much, but then I changed my mind, it is super pretty!! I made it for a friend of mine who lives in NY and I haven't seen in more than 20 years!!! She is Peruvian too, super cool girl and one of my BFF. Lately we have been chatting online and remembering our time times at school and our crazy and silly adventures too, LOL.

Anyway, for the little squares I used Alissa-Spunky Paper from Bo Bunny. The butterflies are a cut out from Bridgeport Pavilion Pearl Paper from SEI, also added some Waterfall Stickles to the wings. The rhinestones are from Kaiser.

A lot of stitches, love it !!!

For my card I used a pretty paper from Imaginisce "Baby Powder- Cutie Pattotie. The image is also from Imaginisce: Snag'em Collection: Giraffe. I stamped the image twice on Tutu Dot Bo Bunny Paper . The image was colored with Markers. I added some Diamond Stickles on the giraffe spots.

a main dish entree - favorite stamps set
a couple of side items - card stock and ink
and head straight the dessert cart, girls: Buttons, Brads, Glitter,Dew drops, Punches, Sewing, Ribbon, Eyelets, Rhinestones.
Card Recipe:
Card Stock: White.

Challenge #2: Let's play Black Jack
1 point for each layer in the card.
3 points for each different patterned paper (yes, you get 1 point if it's a layer plus 3 points if it's patterned.)
5 points for each different stamp you use. (If you use the same stamp more than once, it only counts as 5 points)
2 points for each ribbon
1 point for each hard embellishment (brads, eyelets, charms, rhinestones, beads, clips, etc. SO, a hairpin with four beads on it counts as 5 points).

5 layers = 5 points.
3 Patterned papers = 9 points.
1 stamps = 5 points.
1 Rhinestone = 1 point

Enjoy the day!!

Hello my friends, I hope you are having a great day, here the weather is crazy again, cool, windy and gray. I've been feeling a little sad lately, my cousin is sick, but she has a good spirit and even though she knows her health right now is not the best, she knows she can conquer one more time another difficult situation. I just need something to make me feel better. I've been playing more than usual with DD, she loves to play Wii Play ( Find the Miis), over and over, sometimes I have to say, no more. She also loves to do Wii Fit, she is so funny and whatever her scores is, she gets so excited, LOL.
Anyway, I made a card for Cafe Mojo, this is a blog with fun challenges, and this time Mothers & Daughters Creations is sponsoring the challenge and giving away $15.00 prize in MDC products.
The challenge is to use ribbon in a non-traditional way.

Mothers & Daughters Creations Thursday Challenge and a great announcement!!!

Happy Thursday everyone, time for another M&D Creations Challenge, this time a sketch challenge. The sketch this time courtesy of Page Maps. Don't forget to stop at MDC Challenge Blog and have the chance to win great prizes.
The sentiment in my card was stamped in a piece of chipboard which I colored first with Blue Craft Ink, after it was dried I stamped the sentiment with Basic Brown Ink. For the flower I glued a piece of forget me not Paper onto the chipboard and then sanded the borders.

Kristina's Color Inspiration #49

Hello my friends, I hope you are having a great day!! I am enjoying the sunshine right now, even though this morning was really gray, rainy and cloudy. I am feeling better from my allergies/asthma problems, my Mojo is kind of back, LOL, and my husband is sick, poor guy, 102.4 F temperature this morning, I hope Idon't get whatever he is having.

Anyway, today I made a card using Kristinas's Color Inspiration #49: Basic Black, Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Rose Red and Whisper White. I have to confess something, until this moment I was 100% sure it was Baja Breeze instead. Ooppss!! Maybe I will try another card with this color instead of Baja Breeze.

An Easter chick

Happy Tuesday everyone, I hope you are having a great day. I am enjoying the great weather we are having right now, 70F is the perfect temperature for me!! LOL, not too hot, not too cold, just perfect to wear a light jacket, this reminds me the movie Miss Congeniality, LOL.
Anyway, today after school I was planning to play the Color Combination Challenge, but I tried 3 different things and then I gave up. I really wanted to make a card or 2 or 3, hehehe, so I checked into my bag of MDC supplies and I decided to color and play with these super yummy papers.
Isn't this chicken with egg adorable?? Yes, it is!! I colored it with Watercolored pencils. The polka dot paper is from Daisy Buckets "Playful Petals-Gabby" and the strip paper is from Imaginisce "Twitterpated - Critter Chatter". I added some ribbon "Grosgrain Turquoise/Orange" from May Arts
on the left corner and a couple of Mini Clear Crystal from ZVA in the flowers.

Happy Saturday my friends!! Today I want to show you a card I made for SCS Color Combination Challenge: Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Riding Hood Red.This is a 5" x 5" square card. My base is Chocolate CS, then I zig zag and straight stitched a piece of Pink Piroutte and Libby DP by Daisy Buckets, The image is Springtime-Stampavie and was colored with Watercolored Pencils and Markers. I also added some Stickles and a couple of Clear Crystals from Zva on the left corner.I added some pretty Pink Sheer Wired w/Butterflies and Beads Ribbon from May Arts.
Card Recipe:
Card Stock: Chocolate, Pink Pirouette, White.
Paper: Libby by Daisy Buckets.
Stamps: Springtime by Stampavie.
Ink: Black.
Embellishments: Pink Wired Ribbon from May Arts, Clear Crystals from Zva.
Accessories: Sewing machine, Pink thread, 3D foam- EK Success, Stickles.

CPS Sketch: Sweet Bunny

Happy Thursday everyone, I hope you are having a great day. My day started early this morning, a cup of coffee, not work-out, feeling blue and sick, yikes!! So far I am surviving my day, DD made me a sandwich for lunch: Turkey and Peperoni, her favorite, not mive, but I was glad she made it for me.
Anyway, I decided to create even though I knew my Mojo was some where but here. I checked Card Positioning Systems Blog and decided I should play the sketch.
I used products from Mothers & Daughters Creations Store. I started my card with Kraft CS as my card base. I stitched together a piece of Pink Pirouette CS and a piece of SEI Lovebirds DP.Then I added Pink Passion CS underneath. The cute bunny is Sleeping Bunny - Serendipity. I colored the image with Watercolor Pencils and Markers, then I added some Stickles and Clear Crystals from Zva. The yummy riboon is Grosgrain Pink/Fucsia/Blue by May Arts. I added some green buttons from my stash.
