It's a girl!! Bear Card

Good morning my friends! I woke up today feeling tired, how can that happen? I think I am getting something, I am not sure if it's allergies or a cold, but I have some sinus pressure and headaches, yikes! Anyway, last night I made a baby card. I love making baby cards, don you?
I got inspired by a little outfit Miss E. was wearing yesterday, then I thought of Gina K. Inspiration Challenge, also Cuttlebug Challenge and Caarvarks Challenge, all of them have a Baby Challenge!! Super duper! and the stitching challenge over at Stamp Something
I used the sketch from Card Patterns.
Just a note about the bear. I stamped it twice, cuttlebuged the one on top, cut out the tummy and added a pink button in its place. You can see it better in the second and third picture.

All materials listed are Gina K. Designs otherwise noted.

Card Recipe:
Card Stock: White, Chocolate Brown, Innocent Pink, Kraft (Gina K. Designs)
Stamps: Oh baby! (Gina K. Designs)
Ink: Ginger (Adirondack), Real Red (SU), Pretty In Pink (SU)
Embellishments: White satin Ribbon (Offray), Pink Rhinestones (Kaiser crafts), Pink Button (Gina K. Designs)

For You!

Hello my friends, I have a cute card for show today. I played the sketch challenge at Card Patterns and also the Friend Challenge at Fun-Frilled Blog. When I started making this card I didn't like it much, but then I changed my mind, it is super pretty!! I made it for a friend of mine who lives in NY and I haven't seen in more than 20 years!!! She is Peruvian too, super cool girl and one of my BFF. Lately we have been chatting online and remembering our time times at school and our crazy and silly adventures too, LOL.

Anyway, for the little squares I used Alissa-Spunky Paper from Bo Bunny. The butterflies are a cut out from Bridgeport Pavilion Pearl Paper from SEI, also added some Waterfall Stickles to the wings. The rhinestones are from Kaiser.

A lot of stitches, love it !!!

Card Recipe:
Card Stock: White, Brown, Light blue.
Paper: Alissa Spunky (BoBunny), Bridgeport Pavilion Pearl (SEI)
Stamps: DOTS.
Embellishments: SU Ribbon, Rhinestones ( Kaiser).
Accessories: Corner punch (for scallops) sewing machine, blue thread, Mini glue dots, Stickles.

More Mother's Day cards!!

As I told you in my previous post, yesterday I made some Mother's Day Cards and also used different sketches I found on blog land.

Here is a card I made using Heather Scott's sketch. She has an awesome blog and every Monday she posts a different sketch.
My card has a lot of pink and red, really pretty for a special MOM. In this card I positioned the square part on top of the rectangle part, it should be the other way. I realized I made a mistake after I finished my card. It was too late to fix it, but I like it this way anyway.

Card Recipe:
Card Stock: Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, White.
Paper: SU Bella Rose.
Stamps: Mother's Day (Verve).
Ink: Riding Hood Red.
Embellishments: SU Ribbon, Prima flowers, Clear Rhinestones.
Accessories: Sewing machine, Pink thread, Mini glue dots.

For my second card I used the sketch from CPS Systems Blog. My card is 5" x 5" square. The paper in this card is from Rhubarb Tart Collection Pack ( Memory Box Paper). The big rhinestones are from Target $ spot. I got more than 100!! for only a dollar. This rhinestones work great in big cards. The scallop oval was made with my Coluzzle and scallop scissors, then it was sponged with RHR ink.

Card Recipe:
Card Stock: Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, White.
Paper: Rhubard Tart (Memory Box Paper)
Stamps: Mother's Day ( Verve)
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Certainly Celery ( sponging).
Embellishments: Rhinestones (Target $ spot).
Accessories: Sewing machine, Pink Thread, SU Dimensionals, Scallop Scissors (Provo Craft), Coluzzle (Oval set), sponges, Mini glue dots.

Also these cards qualified for Mother's Day card or projects on Fun-Frilled Blog.

I hope you like them.
Have a great day!!

Black, White and Gray

Hello my friends!!! I am back with a couple of cards I made this afternoon, but first I want to wish my little sister a great and wonderful HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I love you very much Natty and you know it.
I was having a pretty nice and quite day today, listening my favorite music in Spanish, oh I was singing and singing loud and louder, so nice!!!!. DD is doing very well, still coughing but a lot better, she has been bouncing like crazy indication that she doesn't feel sick anymore, right? DH killed the ugly mouse yesterday, oh my I screamed like crazy when I saw it, maybe sounds funny, even I got an asthma attack, not funny at all. Anyway, the critter is dead and I hope I don't have to see more in my house anymore. I just wonder from where they come in, my house is new, we have been living here less than 2 years, oh well, I was saying about my quiet morning so I decided to navigate and check some blog out. I stopped at Kristina Werner's blog and Mojo Monday Blog and I decided to play these challenges.
As you may know Kristina's challenge is a Color Challenge, this time: Black,White and Gray, fabulous combination and Mojo Monday is a Sketch Challenge.

Kristina's Challenge: Can you believe this is the first time playing Kristina's color challenge?? I can't believe. I made the bow, added a clear button and add some very thin gray ribbon.

Poinsettia

Hello everyone!! I hope you are having a great Sunday. I have been MIA for few days, I haven't been feeling good lately, today I would say that I am feeling a little bit better, but tomorrow I will go to the doctor and check what is going on, the headaches are everyday plus other symptoms. Yesterday I rested and then I decided to make few projects for my Design Teams, in addition of that I played Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge.

I really like the card I made, LOL. I love to make cards with tons of layers and when a make one with few or no layers I feel weird :)
Anyway for my card the base is Real Red CS. I stamped the Poinsettia by Studio G twice, colored them with watercolor pencils, then cut them out and applied some Diamond Glaze. The Leaves by Studio G are a different stamp, which I stamped twice too, water colored and added some Diamond Glaze as well.
The DP is Christmas Ornaments by Best Creations from Mothers and Daughters Creations Store.

I used my scallop scissors on the Certainly Celery CS. I mounted the images on White CS and tons of 3D-Dots from EK Success. I added 3 little purple Rhinestones on the corner and the pretty Offray White Satin Ribbon.

I hope you like it.

Little Paper Shop Sketch Challenges.

I decided to play the "Little Paper Shop Sketches", even though I don't own any of their stamp sets. They have 2 super fun sketches.
Sketch #1: Orange Daisy
The images form this card are Daisy Trio #2 from smARTworks. This is a 3-step set, after I stamped my images I embossed the image using Clear Embossing powder. I distressed the circle and sponged it with Orange Craft ink. The sentiment is stamped in Stazon black. The ribbon is Offray Lemon Grass Satin ribbon, I got it from Walmart.
The CS colors used are: Chocolate Chip, Barely banana, White. The DP is Bo Bunny.

Sketch #2: Rejoice
The main image is Nativity by Serendipity, the sentiment is Rejoice from Studio G. The DP from the little squares is Ornament 2 by Best Creations, I used my sewing machine with white thread color around. I colored the image with Watercolor pencils and then added a little bit of Markers.

The card base is White and I stamped snowflakes from Studio G and embossed with Embossed gold powder. I added a red satin ribbon at the bottom. The sentiment is from Studio G as well, I used Cranberry Crisp ink.

I hope you like them
Have a great day
