Impression Obsession Old is New: Hello

Hello friends!

Sometimes we get so busy with new released stamps that we forget about our old favorites. The Impression Obsession team has set aside a couple days a month to share some new projects using some great older stamps. You can see the list of today’s participants on the Impression Obsession blog

This card was super quick to make, great for new neighbors or just a simple Hello!

Details:

Stamp Window Box on white cardstock in Jet Black Ink, color image with markers, then fussy cut image.

Die-cut Tiny Single Leaves and add it to image.

Die-cut Hello Word (x3), glue them together and color it with shimmer marker.

Score lines on front of white card on each side at .25"

Adhere image and sentiment.

Impression Obsession Old is New: Hello

Impression Obsession Challenge: Hot Colors.

Hello friends!

Welcome to another fun Impression Obsession Challenge, hopefully we can inspire you to create fun, easy and wonderful projects! 

Our challenge this time is

"Hot Colors"

All the details can be found at the Impression Obsession Blog.

A random challenge card will be selected to be showcased on the IO blog AND you can enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing! (IO stamps need to be used).

I decided to use this pretty Flower Garden Cover a Card background, had it for a while and I think it worked perfect for our new challenge.

Details:

Position your Flower Garden Cover a Card Stamp on your Misti, then stamp image on watercolor paper in Versamark Watermark Ink, add white embossing powder and heat set.

Color flowers and leaves with Color Burst, then spray Dazzle Shimmering Bliss to add the glittery effect.

Trim image to 3.25" x 5.5", tie ribbon, then adhere it to a white card base.

Stamp sentiment from The Skinny Set on white cardstock in Melon Ink. Die-cut sentiment using middle die from Pinked Stitched Sentiment Banner.

Create a frame with medium size Checkered Frame Dies. die-cut 2, glue them together, add color and adhere it to card.

Add sentiment with foam tape.

Finally embellish card with Nuvo drops.
